Cottage vacation rentals in Ryde

We stayed at Shoresreach over the Christmas period and it was a wonderful place to spend the holiday! The cottage was clean and well stocked with all the essentials, but the extra treats on arrival for us and our dog were a really lovely touch! The location is lovely and quiet, with easy access to the local beach! Hot tub was amazing and it was lovely to have an enclosed garden for the dog to explore! Lucy was on hand to answer any questions and helped with recommendations in the local area! The pictures don't do it justice, this cottage is lovely and we would love to visit again!

The cottage is in an excellent location: it is walking distance to two lovely pubs, a well-stocked grocery store and St Catherine’s Oratory. The stars were also amazing! The house is cosy and nicely decorated, and Amy is a responsive and friendly host.

absolutely loved escaping out to the New Forest this weekend at the Old Piggory. We felt relaxed by the fire, enjoyed the hot tub and exploded the lovely local area. my kids were blown away by the horses wandering around, incredibly special for my daughter's 9th birthday! thank you for having us!

Excellent property, all rooms are to a very high standard and the hot tub / garden space is a real bonus! The living space on the top floor is exceptional and had plenty of space for our two families. Location is private but centrally located for exploring the island. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and spacious and three of the bedrooms have en suites. tithe host was extremely helpful and communication was great throughout booking and our stay. Would highly reccomend.

My family and I had a great stay here. the place was lovely, furnished beautifully. We felt right at home immediately. Some really nice touches like a few welcome things to save us shopping straight away. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and communication was great The hot tub was great and the garden nice and private nd the ping pong table was a great addition. There were board games, books and the kitchen was well equipped. This was all great as we were there to chill out and relax. Whilst there we did some walking in the forest which was right on the doorstep. It was not far to the beach too. We ate at the Haywain (3 minutes walk) which had great pizzas (burgers not so good). We also had an Indian takeaway which was in Totton (Aamnah's Indian Kitchen) about 5 minutes drive, which was fab and very reasonably priced. We would love to return and would highly recommend this place to anyone without hesitation.

We had such a fab time at Wisteria Lodge. We were there for a few days for our minimoon straight after getting married. I asked for a vase so I could enjoy my bouquet longer, and we were delighted to be greeted with a Congratulations card and welcome hamper with prosecco along with a vase. The guest information folder had all we needed to know in it but I'm confident that had we needed something more that Jane and Jeremy would have been quick to facilitate. I recommend this place to anyone. If you like old traditional pubs with timber frames too you're in for a treat here as there are a few nearby - we managed six on a three mile walk! :D we then relaxed in the hottub for a bit before bed, bliss!

Fantastic accommodation to unwind and spend a lovely weekend close to the New Forest National park. Really loved the ambiance of the place; lovely fairy lights in the backyard, clean and relaxing hot tub, comfortable bed. The kitchen has all necessary facilities for a great stay. Thanks a lot for your hospitality! Will be back again.

Really relaxing, comfortable and peaceful. Superb decking area and private garden area. Lots of places to visit and the setting is lovely. In fact, met all our expectations and more! Really pleasant stay in sumptuous surroundings. Outstanding host!

Very nice place to stay which is pet friendly. Great location in the old part of Shanklin. Close to pubs and restaurants and not too far from town centre or beach. Oh and a parking space which is always nice.

Spent a very pleasant weekend in the property whilst visiting Titchfield for a family get-together. The cottage, although quite plain from the outside, is full of character, warm and was spotlessly clean. Location is in the centre of the village, two local stores close by (2 min walk) for stocking up food and drink etc. Located on the lane that leads to the church parking can be “problematic” - but that said we had no problems. Good communication from managing team, easy check in and out. Would certainly use again.

We had a wonderful stay, the cottage was lovely and in a perfect location near to nice restaurants (the red lion was great). The courtyard was really safe for our dog, and the estuary being so close was a huge bonus for taking out our kayak and paddleboard! Couldn’t recommend it more, thank you 😁

We stayed at Rowena’s place between Xmas and NY with our toddler and pup. Had a wonderful time, excellent location for exploring both on foot and by car. Really appreciated the travel cot with a proper mattress, highchair and baby bath- made travelling with a little one a lot easier. The little Xmas tree was a lovely touch and the hamper much appreciated- would love to come back as so much to do in the area with a toddler, thank you

What a lovely place this is. Clean, comfy and has great views. Jasmine was quick to reply if we needed any assistance and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Amazing host and great set up for lovely get together. As a group of 10 adults with 4 kids, this was just right with ample amount of space and bathrooms which met our family needs. looking forward to staying for longer during Summer.

We had a lovely stay - lovely house, very comfortable and easy to live in - home away from home! It would have been nice if we could have checked in earlier (4pm felt very late) and checked out later (10am is very early) but apart from that we had a great time and I would recommend the cottage for those wanting a relaxing stay in a beautiful area. It was a bit further away from the beach than the photos suggest but walk is pleasant and the beach beautiful.

Lovely private bungalow in a quiet setting, it was perfect for our young family. The house was lovely and spacious, perfectly clean and comfortable and really well equipped. We also really appreciated the toys/high chair etc for our toddler. Ponies and donkeys within walking distance (even for the 2 year old). Thanks for the stay, we’d definitely recommend it!

Lovely quiet location but conveniently close to Beaulieu, Exley Gardens and Lymington, and of course the New Forest. Comfortable property with a spacious kitchen - we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a truly wonderful stay for our anniversary weekend! Lyn was incredibly polite and thoughtful, going above and beyond to make our time special. The sauna was amazing, and the fresh pastries brought to us each morning, alongside a fully stocked fridge of goodies was a delightful touch. She was also so accommodating, allowing us a late checkout, which made everything stress-free. Thank you for making our anniversary so memorable—we can’t wait to come back!

This is a high quality well cleaned, equipped and maintained cottage with everything clean and new. Especially helpful for us was the secure and handy bike stand Glyn had built round the corner. The location is perfect for cycling and walking with quiet lanes, paths from the cottage to the downs and the sea, and with a superb village shop and pub a short walk away. So it was perfect for our short holiday. Glyn was very helpful with our discounted ferry tickets and Vanessa concerned we had enough bedding. The cottage is very secluded with trees all around. There is a lovely patio area but it only catches the sun for a short while in the afternoon. But you can see the stars in the dark night sky through the skylight. Lovely place!

Lovely property and location. Excellent base for exploring the south coast and Westbourne village is very pretty. Recommended.

st caths is a must! Jenny is a super star a true super host, always responsive and helpfull. the surroundings are outstanding and the neighbours are very pleasant. the house is exactly as it looks in the pictures with the added extra of swingball in the garden! we will be back again hopefully!

A perfect peaceful country cottage. Lots of nearby walks with the dog and a gorgeous church in Freshwater for Christmas Day morning. The cottage is easy to find and so peaceful. Gorgeous country views from upstairs and a quiet enclosed garden. Bedrooms are plenty big enough with gorgeous white bed linen. The living space is generous with a cosy snug set around a log burner which we loved each evening. The stand out for us was the fabulous kitchen which made cooking Christmas dinner a delight this year. Two bathrooms, each with an excellent shower and good central heating. I would say you probably need to have a car if you’re staying here although there are buses to Newport. I genuinely can’t think of a negative!
