Dating from 1762, this beautiful stone cottage is full of period features, beamed ceilings and a huge inglenook fireplace. Lovely rural hillside location in a courtyard setting, 2 miles from the main road along a country lane, but only 9 miles from Ruthin. Enjoy the lovely private garden, watch the birds or stargaze at night whilst sharing a bottle of wine in the 'Piggery'. Perfectly placed for all that North Wales has to offer. Our place is in the village of Rhuddlan near a 13th century church and castle, the River Clwyd, the Clwydian Hills, the beaches of Rhyl & Prestatyn, and the North Wales Expressway (A55). The peaceful, historic village has small local shops, tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The modern, ground floor annex is private, with its own front door, hall, bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with shower and small kitchenette. It is good for couples, solo adventurers and business travellers.

Modern one bedroom, dog friendly cabin in rural location with beautiful mountain views and walks. The cabin can sleep up to four people as it has a sofa bed, and is situated in the grounds of Lynwood which is the home of my husband Dave and I. The house has a sauna which cabin guests can use on request and at their own risk. We do not make a charge for the sauna and therefore don't provide robes or additional towels.
