A great place in a stunning location. We went with 15 month old twins and it was great!

Cosy cottage in a beautiful location on the river. The hosts have tried to think of everything to make a holiday stay there as easy as possible from oil in the kitchen to a small selection of games. It felt comfortable and homely without feeling lived in so felt like a real escape. Very clean throughout. There is a selection of great pubs, small shops and cafes in the village a 10 minute walk up a fairly steep hill. Walks can be done from the doorsteps. This meant we didnt have to drive everywhere which we appreciated. We would love to come back in the future.

Loved the tranquility of the hayloft. Just a note to say the bedroom door on the double wouldn’t stay closed and we used a hand towel in the shower base, as it was very slippery, maybe purchase a anti slip mat, also maybe a shower hanging rack to put your shampoo, and shower gel on. We really loved our two nights here,what a fantastic location and property,was super to arrive and our cottage was already waiting open, warm and welcoming. Definitely be back in the summer 🌞

We had a lovely weekend at this unique location. We rented the bbq hut, which was so worth it - we snuggled up by the fire and cooked some delicious food under the lights. Lovely owners were always helpful! The teashop (Hetty’s) across the road is a busy and you need to book but definitely a great place for afternoon tea or breakfast!

We stayed in room 4 for three nights to celebrate my birthday. The cottage was incredibly cute, with a generously sized bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The place was spotlessly clean. We were delighted with the number of extras provided in including oil, seasonings, and various cooking utensils. The house had a great selection of games and books to keep us entertained. The garden out the back was a lovely bonus. However, if you have small dogs, be mindful of the garden fences, as they are quite gappy and could easily escape into the neighbouring garden or even the river that flows nearby. There are some lovely walks to be had in the area. Unfortunately, the weather was quite unpleasant during our stay, making the walks quite muddy due to heavy rain. There’s a lovely pub The fox and goose, up the hill, that we enjoyed visiting. Be advised the firepit and BBQ mentioned in the add come at an additional cost. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would definitely come again!

We had a great time in Clinkum Cottage. The place is lovely, well furnished with a cosy atmosphere and a fire place in the living room. Wood was available just outside and we were grateful for it. There are books and games available. The kitchen is fully equipped and clean. The bedrooms are large and there are 2 bathrooms. The floor is heated and we loved it after a cold day out. The surrounding is beautiful, there is a little lake with ducks and swans and a little river. Just in front of the cottages there is a tea room with cakes, coffee, full breakfast etc and it was well priced and delicious. We recommend it.

We had a lovely stay. The cottage was well equipped and was as described. The space was great for us with 2 young children. The surrounding space was brilliant and everything was well thought out. We look forward to staying again soon.

We had a great stay in Stoke-onTrent. The house was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed. The location across the park was a bonus and we had a stroll around the lake every evening. Thanks, Gavin!

Great stay, very close to alton towers which is why we went here. Bed was very comfortable and the sheets was so soft, had a great night's sleep! David left tea, coffee and milk which was a great touch 👌 having access to sky TV was great as this doesn't usually happen. The jacuzzi bath was lovely, loved the lights. David was a great host and was there if you needed him. overall very pleased with our visit 😊

Clean, tidy, deceptively spacious property. Worked for what we needed. Only feedback would be larger mirrors in the bedrooms for putting on make-up would be good. Would use again.

I was blown away by the decor and amenities. Detail was perfect, from the furnishings to the fully equipped kitchen. It was a true home away from home. The house was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. I felt right at home and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and clean place to stay! Perfect location! Sam’s house is in the heart of the city, close to all the major roads that I needed. It made my business trip so much easier. Wi-Fi was essential and this was perfect and reliable. 5 stars from me!
