Cottage vacation rentals in Round Lake

The cottage was great. Just as decribed...better than the pictures. We really enjoyed the sun porch. Peaceful and quite, we went for a fall color trip the colors were beautiful. This was just what we were looking for. We would definitely book agaim.

Everything is great! A very warm little cabin that much better actually than its pics. Great access to the beach and nice view of sunrise! Happy to stay here for sure!

This home was so deeply special ---- came up here for a winter holiday with my partner and two friends. The lake was frozen over so we could adventure some on the ice! The sauna, fireplace, cozy atmosphere and beautiful views were a perfect respite from our typical city life. We all hope to return sometime in the future!

Was a really nice place for 2 couples to stay while snowmobiling for a few days. Definitely a bit off the main highways but quiet and beautiful. Plenty of parking space and an easy ride down the snowy road to the main trail system.

My best friend and I have stayed at many Airbnb’s in the area, and we both agreed this was our favorite. The view from the deck is so gorgeous, and a great way to start your morning. The place was clean and stocked with anything we could have needed. All communication was very clear, and we felt prepared for our arrival and departure. We will definitely be back, and recommend it to anyone who needs to disconnect with a gorgeous view. Thank you!!

This home was perfect for our needs. We had five couples snowmobiling together. The trailhead was very close by, I just had to go to the Brownstone Inn, a local restaurant, and the trail was accessible there. Also, the driveway had plenty of room for our five trailers. There was a TV space outside the bedrooms which was great for all our gear. It was perfect! And the view of the lake was incredible. We really enjoyed our stay.

We came to the captain's house for Christmas to be near my son who is stationed in the coast guard in Marquette. He could walk to our Airbnb from the station. The house was perfect for 6 people, gorgeous view of Lake Superior. We loved that we could walk out the front door and hike around the trails and see the everything. You can walk to downtown Marquette very easily. We didn't because it was so cold but you definitely could. The house has everything you need to cook in the kitchen, some spices etc. We bought sleds at Target and there's a hill in the yard that's perfect for the kids to sled down. Great house, great views. We will be back next visit!

Beautiful home with a great kitchen right on Lake Superior! We stayed over Thanksgiving and had a great time. We enjoyed cooking our whole Thanksgiving meal here, making use of the two ovens, large gas range, and expansive counterspace. Our dog loved walking on the beach and we explored some trails in the area. Thank you!

Super beautiful spot right on the lake. the stars looked so great at night. The beds were comfortable. I needed help getting the heat on and someone came to help right away. The shared hot tub was always available when we wanted to use it. Overall great experience here.

Although our stay at the cabin was a little cramped for 6 adults, it was perfect for what we needed. There is a grocery store nearby for all food needs, and bigger cities like Marquette are only an hour away. There are many waterfalls within 30 minutes that are easy access. Most amenities are provided (pots, pans, dishes) and there are some boats for the lake for the cabins. The cabin did have towels for showering, but I would bring your own for the lake and hot tub. One thing to note is the GPS does not take you to the right location, rather it takes you to a personal property down the road. Be cautious of the street addresses. There is also a non-grounded electrical cord in the coffee bar drawer for all grounded cords.

We had a great stay, our second in two years. We love the feeling of being out in nature and the sense of privacy. This year our “neighbors” were two bald eagles we saw on the beach every morning while watching the sun rise over Lake Michigan. Some practical things to consider: the nearest grocery store is Jack’s in Manistique. Best to stop there before you arrive, it’s more than a short drive. And, take them seriously when they tell you to arrive during daylight! I wouldn’t want my first drive down the single-track access lane to be in the dark! If I were planning to stay there in the winter, I would check with the management company first to make sure my vehicle was up to it. When we arrived we found the EV charger not working, but we contacted the management company and they worked hard to make it right in less than 24 hours, even though it was a weekend.

This was our second visit to the property, our first time in cabin 5. We celebrated a birthday and used the hot tub all weekend. Everyone in our party had a relaxing weekend & would love to visit again sometime

The place was great. We came for the purpose of snowmobiling. We were able to drive the sled right onto the lake from the property and take to the trails right off the lake. It was a very peaceful and beautiful spot, being right on the lake. It was very private and quiet. Only draw back we felt was that the cookware and silverware could have been better, but that would be the only thing I would have changed. Would definitely come back and would recommend the place to anyone.

My wife and I enjoyed the cabin with our dogs. The river was nice and made for a peaceful setting as well as the dogs loved playing in the river. Everything was clean when we showed up and James was very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely be booking the cabin again.

The location is amazing and so beautiful! We visited in the winter. The cottage was cozy and well heated. Can’t wait to return in the summer!

The hosts were incredibly thoughtful and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this cabin for anyone seeking a tranquil getaway surrounded by the beauty of Lake Superior. I can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful spot! So peaceful and relaxing. Coffee on the deck overlooking the lake and the stars at night were breathtaking. Would gladly stay here again!

It’s was a nice place and a great spot on the water. Being on a chain of lakes was fun because we could cruise around on our boat for a while and the fishing was good too. I would rent again.
