We enjoyed a lovely stay in this charming house with a kind and friendly neighbour on hand to help with anything we needed. Terrific river view and a short drive into Saumur.

Great stay, great host, everything is perfect and as described. Lots of advice, very responsive and considerate! Top-notch environment, calm and nature, a real change of scenery in a large green setting, which is rare nowadays! Really perfect, thank you again for everything.

Beautiful location! We stayed in Lavender Cottage which has a private entrance and sunny garden with table, chairs and sun loungers. We took advantage of Susan’s first night meal and breakfast in the morning which made for an easy and stress free arrival and was excellent. We had a fun day out with Martin and 2 other couples wine tasting, we went to 3 very different wineries and enjoyed a 3 course meal which was also included. Susan and Martin are a fountain of knowledge concerning where to visit and eat which was really helpful and made our days out a lot easier to plan. The pool is a lovely place to cool off after a busy days sightseeing and there are also pretty shared gardens with BBQs where you can chill out and eat if you want to. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay special. It is very rural so a car is essential, but if you want a truly French experience would highly recommend! Thank you Susan & Martin for a memorable holiday!

Warm welcome, we were looking for a quiet little corner to see friends and that's exactly what we found. The cottage is a little cocoon where you immediately feel at home. Special mention for the decoration.

Franck's place is functional, clean, quiet. Central for touring the castles. The pellet stove with hot air distribution in the rooms is very pleasant despite the winter temperatures.
