Family-friendly vacation rentals in Rottal-Inn

The Kostnerhof is a very nicely renovated farmhouse. We used the outdoor oven, sauna, swimming pond and bathing barrel extensively. The rooms and kitchen are beautifully furnished. The view is fabulous. The hosts are very friendly and uncomplicated. We had a wonderful, relaxing week.

We felt very comfortable from the beginning. The furnishings are so lovingly designed and thoughtfully thought out - hot tub, sauna, grill houses - there are no wishes left unfulfilled. Our little son (20 months) was also thought of (e.g. changing mat, wet wipes, shampoo, etc.) really very attentive and hospitable owners. We would definitely come back!

Reiko is incredibly service minded and has a great home for 4 people. Nothing was missing, and Reiko was quick to respond if we asked anything. The only thing we missed was air conditioning in one of the rooms when it got incredibly hot. We would definitely recommend his place to others.

Christine was incredibly welcoming, and provided helpful advice for the local area, including assisting us to find a late dinner. The place was very comfortable, we were 3 people (2 in the bedroom, 1 on the fold out couch). It was a perfect place to come back to each day after exploring the area. Staying here felt like the authentic Bavaria I had read about, I wish we could have stayed longer.

Bernhard was a very good and friendly host. The self-check-in worked smoothly. Bernhard was absolutely reliable for questions. The apartment exceeded our expectations, especially considering the size and is a great starting point for excursions towards Salzburg and the surrounding area. For visitors with smaller children, it is worth noting that the sleeping area is designed as a gallery. This can be seen from the photos, but we were kind of surprised - but definitely positive in our case. The kitchen was sufficiently stocked for our needs, we were also very pleased about the Nespresso coffee machine and corresponding capsules (guest gift). The accommodation was a good base for our wonderful holiday.

We had a great weekend at Villa Traunseeblick. Herta, our host, graciously accepted our last minute booking. The apartment was very clean, well equipped with everything you needed and had an amazing outdoor space to relax and enjoy views of the lake. It was very comfortable and just what we needed. The apartment is within walking distance to trails, the lake, town and the cable car. We had a wonderful time! Thanks Herta

Helmut is a great host and responsive. His instructions and written documentation in the apartment very helpful if it is your first visit to Salzburg.

Very nice cottage. Friendly contact and quick response. There is everything you need in the house. The kitchen is equipped with a stove top, oven, toaster, coffee maker and many more. There are also plenty of pots, pans, plates and cutlery. The fireplace warms the house. Beds are comfortable and plenty of blankets are provided. Only "creak" the beds as well as the floor and stairs. But that's no problem at all. The nature around is wonderful. Great hike is possible. We saw a lot of game. We will be happy to come back.

We had a wonderful time in Gabrielle’s place. Wonderful and spacious, I got all instructions about check in - the host was very responsive. I can fully recommend Gabrielle’s place.

a definite rustic stay in the amazing mountains with an incredible view. If you have kids bring art supplies, educational tablet, as their is no tv. which is not a huge deal, but nice to unwind after a hectic day of adventure in the mountains. Very attentive and lovely, and their is a great restaurant right up the road! Except the bare minimum as far as supplies, so bring your own if you're driving ❤️

This traditional family house offers a nostalgic journey to the past, evoking memories of earlier times, including the 1990s. Staying here is an experience in itself, particularly for today's children and teenagers. It is especially enjoyable for kids during the summer months. We visited in winter and were pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of the heating system—something we did not expect from a building over a century old. Additionally, this farmhouse can comfortably accommodate 16 to 20 people. However, please note that access via public transportation may be challenging. The host was exceptionally friendly and professional, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable stay.

I spent very relaxed days in this beautiful apartment with piano. The location is ideal, in the middle of the countryside and yet you can walk very quickly to the SBahn to Salzburg, which runs once an hour and with which you can come back from Salzburg even late at night.

We were able to communicate well. The welcome was warm and we were shown everything nicely. Everything was available in the apartment to feel equally good. Nearby is a REWE and a baker and butcher. It was close to our destination of Therme Erding. It was a great weekend and we would be happy to come back.

We, 6 women, felt very comfortable in the two apartments. We also enjoyed the soothing, cozy atmosphere, in the bright, tastefully furnished, quiet attic apartments. The kitchen was stocked, almost like a private kitchen at home and even with winter outside temperatures it was cuddly warm there. We found Marion to be a very accommodating, friendly and reliable landlady to our wishes.

I was personally welcomed by Gerlinde in a very friendly manner. The accommodation has everything you need and is very nicely located in nature. by bus, you can reach the accommodation from Salzburg Central Station in about 45 minutes. Thalgau town center is less than a kilometer away where you can get everything. i left earlier because of the weather forecast (heavy rain) but still felt very comfortable. i'd love to come back!

Beautiful corner, close to Salzburg, Krispl is charming, quiet. Toni is adorable, and very homey.

The apartment was large and spacious, the amenities a bit outdated, but fully functional. Bed linen & towels were provided, a dishwasher is also provided (was stated differently) The pool area as well as the sauna are great!!! The landlord is very warm and always has a nice word left :) We will definitely be back

The swimming pool and ping pong table were the highlight of the kids. The listing was as described. The dining area offered plenty of space. And the couch invited you to relax. Communication with Judith was very friendly and helpful. Thank you for the too much accommodation.

Very nice and big apartment, the children has also very good time at the playground. The owners are very kind. Worth the money.

Gregor’s farm flat was the perfect way to end our Bavarian adventures. The location felt secluded even though it was close to malls and restaurant (I highly recommend Luca’s pizza nearby). It was an easy drive into Salzburg and simple to find from the highway. The beds were cozy and the space was well-appointed. But our favorite feature by far was the generous offer to go and see the animals in the barn and feed/pet them. It was perfect for lazy mornings. Our teenager even woke up early to go see the horses, chickens, rabbits, and pigs! You won’t regret a stay at Gregor’s place.

We spent a wonderful week of workation with Maria und Josef. The flat is very nice in a beautiful location. The hosts were really friendly and approachable.
