Lovely lovely apartment right by the lake. Mesmerizing views, amazing shower, well equiped kitchen and we even had a bottle of prosecco waiting for us. We felt at home abd had a wonderful time !

Sheena's place is exactly as advertised. A great apartment with a lovely view from both the bedroom and the sofa! (don't expect to watch TV as you will be drawn to the view). It's not big but is fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay, with a comfy bed and sofa. Sheena has left a very detailed guide on everything you might need to know about the island but if you need to know anything more Sheena is incredibly responsive, replying within at least half an hour. It is located just a few doors down from an amazing community run and owned local pub, The Anchor, where you are made to feel welcome and at home instantly. Highly recommend staying here and Sheena as a host.

Lovely place to bring our two dogs for an overnight stay and we all felt right at home. Plenty of on street parking near the flat and a very short walk to the promenade. Due to arriving late afternoon we didn’t get to see much more of Troon but we will be back and would recommend Emma’s apartment to anyone visiting the area :)

Perfect getaway spot for digital detox and splendid isolation... The pod is in a spectacular location, and easily accessible given it's remoteness. Inside the pod there is everything you need for a cosy few days, with the beach a couple of mins walk. Hosts were helpful and responsive, with excellent instructions and communication. Heartily recommended 👍

We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in Arran staying in this lovely flat and will definitely come back! It’s a beautifully decorated place and has everything you need there, it’s a very well kitted out kitchen. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. Would 100% recommend people coming to the island to stay here as it makes your holiday even better!

No pictures or reviews do this place justice!We have been to the estate twice now and it’s our favourite place to visit when we need to recharge. It’s great for the dogs, private beach, clear water, hikes at the back of the cottage , lots of wildlife, beautiful cottage. Views are out of this world. It’s worth every penny. Facilities are amazing especially in point cottage with the aga stove. We cooked many amazing meals. It’s the most relaxing place we have been regardless of the weather, and it’s beautiful all year round. Hosts were amazing and got back in contact straight away. Can’t wait to make another trip soon!

This is a great place to explore Rothesay and Bute. It has everything you need for a short stay. Great living room for a large group.

We had a wonderful New Year here. The stunning and ever changing views across the Clyde from the large living room windows are excellent. A great place to relax, draw and spot wildlife. The place is spacious and plenty of room for 2 couples. This is our 2nd stay and we loved it.

What a Fantastic place, property & host! Property was in immaculate condition and in the best location with an amazing sea view. Jayne was a great host and her instructions helped us with getting to the location and ferry times. Felt right at home! Will definitely be back. Thanks Jayne!

Alan is a fantastic host - he popped by in person but was also responsive by text when I had a query or two. The house is perfect for a group and the large kitchen and living room was great for spending time together. The house was well equipped with various things you might need - glasses for fizz, speakers, HDMI cables etc. The view is also lovely. Would recommend!

This cottage is fantastic. Everything here has been thought of. If you were inclined you could literally prepare any main meal here. The location was perfect for us looking for a simple, peaceful base to explore Bute from. The host has placed in the cottage. plentiful maps, walks and references for things to do on the Island. Ettrick bay is a tranquil retreat with amazing scenery in every direction. It has good walks locally and an hourly bus back into Rothesay. If you wish you can walk the old Tram path back to Port Banantyne (about 90 mins). I have to say we were extremely fortunate with the weather (17-21 March) and it was wonderful at the end of the day to sit on the patio with a glass of wine staring out to sea and the Island of Arran. Simply Stunning.

a wonderful studio flat, exactly how it looks in the photos. Most of one wall is a window looking across the lawn to the beach, sea and Holy Island. There are many eateries close. The Old Pier has fabulous soup, quiche and sausage rolls.

We loved our short stay here, wish we could have stayed longer. Our host were lovely and personable, the space was cozy and clean! The area was wonderful, right next to the ocean where we spent skipping rocks (great rock location to do so). Coffee shop at the Country Store was walkable and they were absolutely lovely, we enjoyed stopping by before our days journey exploring.

just home after a amazing 2 nights. both hosts were great with communication, the Lodge was easy to find with their instructions. the Lodge its self was perfect especially the wrap around porch for dogs. the view is stunning can only imagine how much better it would be on a sunny clear day. so peaceful you can hear all the different birds chipping away. kitchen had everything you would need and more, bedrooms all a great size, plenty of clothes storage and 2 had lovely dressing tables, mattresses pillows and duvets were awesome we all had a great sleep. living room is cosy and comfy. bathroom modern and clean with the bonus of a bath. hot water, heating and WiFi all available 👌. would love to come back in the near future thanks again George & Maria

We had a really fantastic family trip to Joshua’s place. He is a fantastic host. The house is perfect for a large group get together with lots of indoor and outdoor space.

What a wonderful place to stay, right on the beach and with lots of room for friends / family. Very well furnished and high quality. A perfect location either for the golf or just for a few days enjoying Troon. Thanks, June!

Justin and Rae were extremely welcoming, both were there when we arrived. The house itself was large and there was more than enough room for everyone in our party. The house was spotless with lots of extras, eg. shampoo, conditioner. Milk, sugar, coffee etc. Would highly recommend it to others.

Amazing house! We spent a great time here! The private access to the lake, the brightness of the living room and the views on the lake are amazing!
