Vacation rentals with lake access in Rockcastle County

Lovely house in a quaint neighborhood. It was fun to walk to the marina and explore. House had everything we really needed for our short trip. Arcade games were a surprise for the kids. And we all loved s’mores at night! Megan was a fabulous host!

We had a great stay at this house! It was clean and spacious and had everything you could ask for. The dock was beautiful and was a perfect spot to hang out at. Would definitely book again when going to Herrington Lake.

Amy’s place was very peaceful. We felt right at home we enjoyed our stay very much! The deck has a beautiful view, it was a great place to relax.

We absolutely loved our stay at Shelly’s cottage. We felt right at home the moment we walked in; it was even decorated for Christmas! I just wish the weather had been warmer because we would have loved to enjoy the deck overlooking that peaceful lake. We can’t wait to come back!

David was a great host. The house was great and it was extremely nice and comfortable. The back porch was nice. We will definitely will be staying again if we have to come back for work. Thanks again for everything.

Place is amazing! Felt like home, once we left we started to miss it. Extremely spacious, amenities were amazing. Would recommend to anyone who wants to visit Somerset!

We had a great stay at Misty’s cabin. It was cute and you could see Lake Cumberland from the deck so it was very pretty and peaceful. We ended up cutting our trip short because of an unexpected event and Misty was very responsive and understanding, it made the process way less stressful. We definitely want to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Julie's cabin. It looks better than the pictures and the kitchen/dinning area was bright even during cloudy/rainy days as it was mostly cloudy/rainy for the 3 days we stayed there. But the view of the river was still great. It was such a pleasure cooking in the kitchen glancing over the river. Julie also left us check in early and the check out time was 11 instead of 10 which which was more flexibility.

Christopher’s place at Woodson Bend Resort provided all that was necessary for a wonderful family stay the first week of August. The weather was beautiful and so we enjoyed the comfortable and well-appointed back porch; the walks to the pool; the dry-accommodating and nicely-decorated living spaces; and, the closeness in proximity to the pickleball courts. After our days on the boat, we were grateful for the ample kitchen space, cookware, utensils, and kitchen linens to enjoy family meals around the table! The location of this unit is excellent - easy to reach the Pro Shop, pool, restaurant, playground, volleyball court and pickleball courts. We did not use the outdoor fire pit, but noticed the stock of wood and great arrangement of outdoor chairs that would make this a very lovely space to enjoy. Would highly recommend Christopher’s place in Woodson Bend!

My family loved staying at this condo in Woodson Bend. The unit itself was extremely clean. The appliances appeared brand new and worked well. We loved the screened in porch and saw multiple deer right outside our porch every day. The televisions in the units had all of the major streaming services installed, which was great for my kids to enjoy movies and tv shows in the evenings. We were able to walk to the front of the resort to enjoy the pool and playground, both of which were clean and nicely maintained. My husband, dad, and brother in law enjoyed the golf course. The restaurant at the resort is delicious as well. It is BYOB, which isn’t a bad deal as long as you have plenty of what you like to drink in your condo. Only two drawbacks to this unit-the sheets on the beds are not the softest and the bunk room is very small with no windows. Neither of these were dealbreakers for us and we would definitely stay in the unit again! The bunk room is probably better for kids than adults.

This is a lovely condo in Woodson Bend resort. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The view from the windows is of the golf course and provides a beautiful setting. Close to the pool and the pickleball courts. Host did a great job in communicating and checking on us to make sure everything was perfect. This is a scenic area of Lake Cumberland and we rented a boat for the day from Burnside Marina. The restaurants of Somerset are close by and the options are plentiful. Great location and great condo.

Woodson Bend never fails. The bed was comfortable and enjoyed the patio, but wish the chairs were more comfortable outside. Very clean condo.

Stayed while traveling for work, the host was very accommodating.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The house and resort were perfect. Everything was very well kept and clean. Our kids loved the swimming pool, and we visited the arcade several times. Robin was very nice to work with, and we hope to visit again!

This was our 2nd time staying in the cottage. It was just as lovely as the first time! Beautifully decorated, sparkly clean !! We plan on the 3rd stay being in a couple months, we love it there ! Thomas is a wonderful host, prompt and polite :)

The place was exactly as advertised. The beds were very comfortable and all needed amenities were in the house. The pool and other outdoor areas were well maintained. The docks were awesome! We will be back again next summer.

We booked one night very last minute and Anna reached out within minutes! She was flexible with our late arrival and communicative. The house is so cute and cozy and had everything we needed. I loved the roar of the train and thought it was so neat to be so close to the bridge.
