Barn vacation rentals in River Thames

The Orchard Barn is located in a lovely area in the New Forest. Plenty of nice walks and restaurants all around. Everything inside is as described. The spa was a great addition and we really enjoyed both the sauna and the hot tub. Chris was very proactive and made sure we were allright every day. Definitely recommend it and surely we shall return. Andrei.

We absolutely love this place! It’s so dreamy, and beautifully decorated. The interior design is homely and welcoming. It’s extremely spacious and so quiet and peaceful. The beds are very comfortable. We all slept really well and we’re already planning our return trip!

The place was perfect for our family reunion! The kids loved the brook and outdoor space and the walk through the farm to the pub was great. Would stay here again.

Myself and a few friends were looking to escape and have a private beautiful place for a relaxing new year break and the barn was exactly this! We felt at home straight away. The barn is stunning - it’s somebody’s home with books, artwork, rugs, lots of life. Once you’re settled you won’t want to leave- we didn’t!

Just back from 3 nights at this lovely barn conversion set in a very picturesque village and only a stones throw from the local pub. Loved everything about our stay. Christian was extremely friendly and helpful. The village has wonderful walks on the doorstep. Visited the pub on 2 occasions and had the warmest of welcomes from the landlady and locals. We hope to return soon.

We were a family party with ages from 5 to 75 . Lots for everyone to do ( swimming , tennis, billiards/snooker & beautiful walks all there) There was enough space both inside the wonderfully converted barn and outside in the extensive grounds to enjoy each others company without being overcrowded. Thanks Sarah for enabling a lovely weekend .

Pamela was an excellent host, she was readily available to help with any query. Pamela was proactive and knowing we had a baby with us, took initiative and got us a baby cot and high chair which was highly appreciated. The cabin was beautifully situated, just outside of the village in the beautiful countryside. Highly recommend Pamela as a host. Thank you for a great stay!

Larch Barn is a beautiful home, set in a beautiful location, close to lots of local walks and places to visit. The barn was spotless and modern, the bathrooms, kitchen and decor have been done to a very high standard. The barn was warm and the underfloor heating was amazing. The rooms were big and the beds were very comfy - we all slept very well! We would highly recommend Larch Barn to anyone wanting the stay in the Cotswolds - it offers excellent value for money and we will be coming again! Thank you to Sarah who was a fantastic host!

The photos don’t really do this place justice. As many reviewers have mentioned the place is much larger than the photos suggest and there’s ample room for guests across the ground floor. The upstairs bedroom is spacious too.

Beautiful house, perfect for a few days away with family!

Amanda’s place matches perfectly with photos and description. We were welcome with the cottage fully decorated for xmas, with treats waiting for us like fresh eggs fresh from her farm, butter and wine. She was always immediately responsive and helpful. We had a lovely time at her cottage.

the best stay! I booked this quite last minute and even then the process from start to finish was seamless. Mel was extremely helpful, kind and accommodating. She accommodated an early check in and flexible check out. The place itself is gorgeous.. the art, the thoughtful decor wnd furnishings made it really stand out. I had everything I needed and the wood burner was amazing in these cold months. I was driving so found the location very easy to get around from. There is a lovely cafe a few minutes away where I got freshly baked pastries and coffee.. the ladies who worked there were also so friendly! I would highly recommend Mel’s place, she even gives a comprehensive recommendations list which I benefitted from. I will definitely be back, thank you Mel ☺️

This place was so nice and clean. I booked here for a surprise get away for my boyfriends birthday and he lives it. Toby and his wife were so accommodating and helpful made sure all of our needs were met. I defo will stay again

We had a wonderful stay at No.2 Dutch Barn yet again. It’s our third time and it never disappoints. Beautiful open plan 1st floor with the kitchen and living area with fantastic views. Three good size bedrooms downstairs. It was clean, tidy, with a well thought out layout and had everything we needed. We didn’t venture out so can’t comment much about the area but the apartment itself is amazing and a great size for the five of us. Also had a very tasty Indian takeaway just down the road. Hopefully we will be back again next year.

Could not recommend this property enough! Valerie and Marcus have a beautiful property here. The location is peaceful, the property full of comforts and the little touches made all the difference. The fireplace was incredible. The kitchen is kitted out with everything you need. The bath is fantastic. Nearby to Cirencester and Cheltenham - but you will definitely need a car to access most of the local amenities. Valerie provided a lot of fantastic recommendations for local eateries and pubs. Their hospitality was greatly appreciated. 100% recommend.

Stunning property with everything we needed and more! It’s even better than the photos! Check in/out was extremely smooth and we were left to enjoy our stay in complete peace. It was so warm and cosy but imagine it’d be just as welcoming in the summer months with the large doors and windows. Only 10-15 minutes from Ashford outlet which was really handy but also felt like miles away from everything. Loved the stay from start to finish and would definitely book again!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Barn. We loved the layout and style of the accommodation and it had everything we needed including essentials for the kids meaning we didn’t need to pack it all ourselves! The instructions were clear and all the information provided was super useful. It felt like a real home away from home with peace & quiet and beautiful surroundings. We couldn’t fault it and would love to return. The cake on arrival was a lovely touch and very delicious! Perfect Airbnb

We loved our stay which was really peaceful and just what we needed. . Georgina was super helpful and friendly. The property was really tastefully decorated and the beds were incredibly comfy. we had a wonderful New Year stay at this gorgeous barn. We received a very warm welcome from Jack, Hayley and Meadow and soon settled in. The accommodation was great and the surrounding area is beautiful. The barn was warm and cosy and the views from the windows were stunning. Our dogs enjoyed the walks in the surrounding fields and copse, especially the stream. We had a lovely relaxing stay and would definitely like to return.
