Clew Bay was outstanding to stay at. Patricia was extremely welcoming and helpful in helping us get settled in. We had to hunker down a bit to wait out Storm Eowyn but Patricia invited us into her personal home for some delicious scones and tea. The surrounding area is also very serene and beautiful. We had a direct view of Clew Bay and it was only about a 20 minute walk to get into the Westport city center. Would love to stay here again!

What a lovely accommodation with an amazing view. We had a 6 night stay and everything was perfect. Laura is a very friendly host, the apartment was spotless clean and beautiful. We would definitely come back and can fully recommend this lovely place.

Hosts were responsive quickly and provided great recommendations for the area. Location was an easy walk to city center. Great options for restaurants and pubs nearby, and an easy drive to local attractions and hikes. Would stay again if in the area.

Carmel's cottage is super cozy, we felt right at home. Everything you need is available. Carmel is a super lovely and friendly host and her dog Bella makes it perfect. She is so cuddly, loved it.

Although the pictures are highly accurate they don’t convey how beautiful and relaxing this place is. Definitely the perfect location within 5 min walk to the key area in dwtn Galway yet super peaceful.

Irene's place offered unmatched views in Galway. River Corrid from living room and bedrooms. Great reading nooks. We got to see the seals at highs tide (as Irene told us). She accommodated extra linen we needed and met us when we left. Quick to respond and great suggestions in her book. It was plenty space for the kiddos to play around. mind the steep steps (something to keep in mind if you have mobility issues). Overall the location and views are unparalleled. We can't wait to come back

We had an amazing stay at Michael's cottage! Ann was absolutely fantastic, she greeted us with a freshly baked cake and fresh eggs from her own hens and she made sure we always had enough turf and helped us light the fire during this particularly cold spell. The cottage is warm and cosy and perfect in every detail and it's so homely we found it extremely hard to get off the comfy couch by the fire and get out to explore the beautiful surroundings, the stunning views from our windows constantly tempting us! Thank you so much, we will definitely come back!

We had a perfect stay at Theresa’s place. It was comfortable and relaxing in a beautiful place and Theresa was a wonderful host - binging treats for the kids and some homemade bread for us. The beds were perfect, kitchen fully equipped and with a beautiful view. We recommend fully and hope to come back ourselves.

Sarah's house was comfortable, clean and relaxing...a perfect place for a Winter break. The fireplace was a welcome feature and we made use of it during those cold, wintry days. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We had such an amazing stay! Caroline truly thought of everything—from the delicious homemade scones to the thoughtful little basket in the bathroom stocked with all the essentials. We arrived right after a storm had caused a power outage, but Caroline kept us updated and thankfully, the power was quickly restored. Her communication and care made all the difference. The house had a wonderfully cosy atmosphere from the moment we walked in, and the stunning sea views were visible from nearly every room. The secure garden was perfect for our dogs—they felt right at home! This place is ideal for a family getaway. It’s just a 2-minute drive to Ballyheigue Beach and a short 15-minute drive to Banna Beach, which made it so easy to explore. Everyone who stayed with me loved the house and couldn’t stop praising both the property and Caroline’s hospitality. Thank you so much, Caroline—we can’t wait to come back!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Teresa’s Airbnb! We traveled with our dogs, and from the start, Teresa made us all feel incredibly welcome. Her warmth and kindness made the experience feel like a true home away from home. Unfortunately, we had a minor accident that caused some damage, but when we reached out to let her know, Teresa’s only concern was for our well-being. Her understanding and compassion really sets her apart as a host. If you’re looking for a place where you and your furry friends will be welcomed with open arms and genuine hospitality, Teresa’s place is it! Highly recommend and can't wait for our next stay!

we loved our stay, perfectly situated on the lake with plenty of room to roam, the nearest recommended salt water beach is almost an hour away but it's a really beautiful drive and we'd recommend it, plenty of nice food options along the way. Patrick was incredibly helpful and we thought it was a very fair price for what we got.

We had a fantastic stay in Padraig’s place. The house is great, really well equipped and spacious. We arrived on a wet and wild afternoon in January and Padraig had the fire roaring for our arrival. Our dog was also made very welcome! The location is fantastic if you want to get away from it all, yet Belmullet is less than 10 minutes drive away. Lots of great walks and beaches in the locality too. I couldn’t recommend this place more highly.

Christines place was amazing. The view was fantastic and the location was great- close to lots of restaurants. It was loosely walkable into Westport city Centre but up very steep hill. The only other issue we had was one of the doors was hard to open/close in the bedrooms. Other than that the place was stunning and we had a great time!

Mary’s place is a true hidden gem in Co. Mayo! As a family of five (four adults and a toddler), it was the perfect spot for our New Year’s celebrations. The house was cozy, beautifully equipped, and the spa facilities, the sauna and hot tub, were fabulous!! We loved waking up to stunning lake views and breathtaking sunrises. Our niece adored the short walk to the beach and meeting the donkeys for the first time. Everything about our stay was peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend, and we hope to return soon!

We had a pleasant stay. We came for business and pleasure. From Loretto's place we were able to visit Salthill, Galway and the Cliffs of Moher. My dog also had a great stay, with plenty of walks.

We absolutely loved our stay here and wish we had been able to stay longer. Such a charming place and location and Sean and Rós were such warm and lovely people. We felt so welcomed. The cottage is just delightful, we were warm and cozy and found the assortment of books about the area a treat. Toby Finnegan the dog is a sweetheart.

We had a great time, it’s a great location right at the beach and close to cafes and a supermarket. It’s fine for 5 people, the apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Aileen is a great host.

Lovely property featuring all the essentials. It would be great for a family of four or two couples. The surrounding area is outstanding and the locals are so friendly. We had a great long weekend and would definitely return.

Helens apartment was fantastic. Very bright open living room and kitchen. Well stocked with plenty of cooking untensils, cutlery , plates and cups/glasses. The view outside the large patio doors is fantastic , River Moy is right there. Also beautiful view of fields and hills. Very comfy beds also a high point. Helen is a great host. Very clear and helpful instructions on checking in, really easy and friendly communications during our stay. Helen also allowed us an early check in which was very much appreciated. Foxford is a lovely town, friendly people and nice places to eat and drink. The Moy Hotel down the road, was great for a meal and glass of wine. We recommend Helens apartment to all, we really were sad to leave
