Lake house vacation rentals in Rhode Island

This was exactly how it was described on the website. It was clean, comfy and exactly what we needed for our visit. Reina was there to greet us and show us the home once we arrived. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and there was plenty of room for more than just the two of us. The neighborhood was quiet and very easy to walk to get fresh air and exercise. We saw many neighbors walking their dogs. I will stay here again.

We had a great stay and it was close to our friends and family so we could spend Christmas all together!

The house was great, it was just as described, plenty of space to hang out, and all amenities were available as listed. Many levels to enjoy including a rooftop deck with great views. Very private and peaceful location with a dock onto the pond. It rained during our stay but we still hung out on the patio under the large retractable awning and enjoyed it. The host was very responsive before and during our stay, helping us immediately when the propane tank ran out for the grill. Check in and out was super easy.

We enjoyed a magical week at 70 Chappell Rd. From the moment we stepped on the grounds we were surrounded by a peaceful, welcoming feeling. The house is extremely well appointed for a week of outdoor activity from paddle boarding to kayaking to biking. Plenty of beach chairs and towels for a day at the beach… just everything you would need . The house is clean, beautifully updated and well organized. Pam was very friendly and responsive in her communications and clear about her expectations for the care of her property. Any time we had a question, we could find the answer in the house handbook that she provided. We had an incredible week and were so happy with our experience. Thank you Pam!

Our stay at Palmer Cottage was delightful. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and the cottage was exactly what we needed…..the views were spectacular and the cottage was the perfect size for the two of us. We will return often!

Perfect stay! The location was private, beautiful and safe and also close by to Oceanside restaurants. The house was perfect for my husband, toddler and infant with lots of room to run around outside. Waking up every morning to coffee with a sunrise over the pond and the fireplace on was heaven. Thank you for the magic memories!

We had an amazing time! The house is beautiful and perfect for a getaway to rest and relax. Views of the water were incredible (even on rainy days) and the back yard was perfect for two playful dogs. The kitchen had everything we could’ve possibly needed, and we felt cozy in the fireplace area and bedrooms. Highly recommend!!!

The setting of this place is beautiful and you have a wonderful view across the lake from the second floor living area. Very peaceful and nice for walking around. A great choice for a place with multiple bedrooms.

We had a beautiful two weeks at Melissa’s family home! Beautiful, peaceful “million dollar views” of Ninigret Pond from the deck, kitchen, living and dining rooms and master bedroom. Plenty of privacy, with five bedrooms and four baths in three separate areas. (I got lost for the first few days). The house has a lot of character, not just standard issue Airbnb -- “eclectic antique” decor, books, artwork, and family history memorabilia. The brand new kitchen opens right onto the deck, and is spacious, fully equipped and a pleasure to cook and spend time in. The baths are modern (some updated since the pictures?). The deck has lots of comfortable seating, including a couch and armchair set and another table and chair set. It's a quick drive to the town beach or the state beach at Charlestown Breachway. The Wifi worked great, and the beds were very comfortable. Melissa was a great host, she responded super promptly to my texts, and accommodated us with a late checkout.

The house was very clean, had lots of space, and all amenities available. Everything in the home was well thought of and cared for. We would absolutely choose this home again! We had a great weekend and we were very comfortable. Loved that there were two living rooms!

We had a great New Years with our dog at the house. Our dog is not generally a fan of strangers so it was our goal to find a place that was secluded with a water view. This home fit the bill perfectly, as it has probably more than 180 degree water view of the beautiful Green Hill Pond and it was extremely quiet. I'm sure it's a lot more active in the summer months but it was very peaceful and we almost felt like we were on a private island because there was so little traffic on this tiny road. We really enjoyed just sitting in the breakfast nook (as we called the little table in the kitchen) and enjoying a leisurely breakfast and coffee and watching the birds on the water. One of the highlights was on our last night, after a brief rainstorm, the skies cleared up and we went out to the deck to see the BRIGHT stars in the darkness and we got to witness a shooting star go blazing through the sky! We really enjoyed the classic lake house feel of this special property, we hope to be back!

We really enjoyed our stay in Rhode Island. The house was clean and comfortable. There was a complete guide of the area with lots of helpful tips.

The stay was amazing. The house had enough room for everyone. We loved the extra living room downstairs where there was activities incase of a rainy day which we did end up having. There is a fire pit downstairs which was beautiful to light at night and make smores. The town was beautiful and the house is in a great location where we have our own privacy but not too far away from everything. The host left clear instructions and left local recommendations which were very helpful. The host even left a gift for my birthday which was beyond nice and much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again with my family.

We had such a great family vacation in Narragansett! Laura was very responsive and accommodating! Highly recommend her home!

Our family of 6 ( 4 adults and 2 young children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Shady Harbor house. it is tucked into a quiet spot in the small, friendly community, with large grassy grounds and surrounding woods. it is in a perfect location for all that the area has to offer. The house is spacious and comfortable, and the private beach at Weekapaug is very beautiful and uncrowded. It can be accessed by paddling across the lovely "Quonnie" Pond by kayak or canoe (thoughtfully left for renters' use), or by a short drive. There are many things in the house, like a stock of condiments in the kitchen, and books and board games, that were appreciated. Hot water is plentiful! Noelle is a friendly, responsive host, and there was a coffee cake waiting for us on arrival. I could write a lot more about our enjoyment of this house. However, we fully expect to return, and I would like to think that it will be still available when we go to book it!

Plenty of rooms... great space inside and out! Was worried the 2 AC units in two of the bedrooms wouldn't be enough but it was fine with blinds closed and fans running. Place was clean and roomy and perfect for our group of 4. Twin beds not the most comfortable but larger beds & couches were good. The pots and pans could use updating but had plenty of Tupperware for food storage. Top of the line grill was great too. Would definitely stay again as it was close to everything we enjoy in the area! Loved the beach pass to S. Kingstown Town Beach too... nice quiet beach!

Absolutely wonderful location with access to the adorable downtown and right on the water with walking/bike path. The view was lovely! The place was spotless and kitchen was perfect. The house is not the same colors as described so it was a little tricky initially to find it and I thought it was a whole house (it is a single family house but you stay in only one part of the house). Thankfully there was no one staying in the rest of the house since I was there with 4 children! Also it’s noted that there is no TV so I was prepared for that but there also really isn’t a living room or living space so just something to keep in mind. A great stay!

The decor was plain, but Jen’s apartment was clean, comfortable, and had excellent air conditioning. It served our needs perfectly

Bria’s home was outstanding in just about every way. It was absolutely adorable, clean to the point that everything looked brand new, appointed with nearly everything we could need, and super close to Narragansett Beach and shops. When we arrived, we were impressed to see a bowl of water set up for our dogs and a bag of treats for them on the counter (along with an assortment of goodies for the kids, aged 6 and 9, and adults as well). Very thoughtful! We found the yard to be an amazing asset for our dogs, who normally need time to adjust to new surroundings on vacation. They felt right at home! The neighborhood was peaceful. The only neighbor we saw smiled and waved as he drove by. As small as it is on paper, the home did not feel small to our family of 4. It was just right for a week’s vacation. Bria was a responsive host, helping us find everything we needed in the area. All in all, I would highly recommend Bria’s place!
