We had the best fall weekend at Bongopix! We arrived after dark but the space heaters were already going so the cabin was nice and toasty when we got in. The cabin was exactly as described, was very cozy and filled with all sorts of fun nostalgia. Waking up and watching the mist on the river in the mornings was so nice and peaceful. The cabin is only a 5 minute drive from Algonquin and walking distance to restaurants which was so convenient. They also have a wide selection of movies and games and Bongo even brought us some specific SNES games we were looking for! We really loved our stay and are already planning on staying here again next fall!

We loved the place! from the moment we reached out to Talia till the moment we had to leave. The place is gorgeous, very species, right on the water, with fantastic view. we had everything that we needed! we'll definitely cime back again! Thank you Talia for being a great host.

We had a delightful stay at Karen's! The cottage is beautifully situated on the lake, with lots of forested space around the cottage. The neighbours were friendly, helpful. The weather was perfect for Christmas. Fresh snow and a well frozen like meant for beauty and fun. It was so nice to skate over the lake. The dogs had a blast! The accommodation is beautifully appointed. The rooms are spacious with comfy beds. The kitchen is clean and well stocked with dishes, utensils, and cookware. They even have dog dishes available. The living area held a large, comfy couch for relaxing and visiting. The main washroom was spacious and clean. The 2 piece ensuite is a bonus for extra privacy and comfort. Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable. A perfect spot to celebrate Christmas.

Had a great time at this property. Even though we stayed at home due to snow we had great view. So many indoor games and fun things to do at the property. A perfect budget friendly weekend getaway. Would love to visit in the summers soon

Chantyle's cottage was a great find for our family. While it was basic and nothing fancy but that is just what our family loves. We basically only need a spot to sleep and cook, other then that we are outside enjoying the nature we are surrounded by, and this spot was perfect The beach was perfect for swimming, crystal clear, and shallow so the kids could walk out for quite some distance. On top of the beautiful area and comfortable rustic cabin we were greeted by a very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful campground manager Phil and his wife Tanya. Helped us with things we needed right away and gave us suggestions on places to check out that our kids ended up loving....overall amazing experience thanks for having our family stay it was a great location and great place. friendly seasonal campers as well. our family will definitely be back ?

The cottage location is so peaceful and beautiful. I felt like I was in a treehouse looking over the river and up at the tops of the trees. And the chairs on the sandy beach were fabulous.

Our stay at Renne’s home was absolutely wonderful! The house and garden are beautifully maintained, and the location was perfect for stargazing—peaceful, serene, and away from city lights. Renne is a fantastic host, very helpful and sweet. She made sure we had a great time. We can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely getaway!

Our stay at the cabin on Golden Lake was absolutely perfect! As always, we were warmly greeted by Cindy, whose friendly smile and attentive care make every visit feel extra special. The cabin was already warm upon arrival, and its cozy ambiance welcomed us for a relaxing weekend getaway. We were delighted to find delicious Lindor chocolates waiting for us—a sweet and thoughtful touch! The log cabin itself is absolutely charming, with its 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the cabin was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The terrace offers stunning views of Golden Lake, where you can enjoy ice fishing or skating right outside your door. Plus, we discovered an incredible skating trail in the nearby woods—an absolute must-try for outdoor enthusiasts. We can’t wait to come back again. Our family had a wonderful stay. The stunning views are even better than the pictures. The kids loved both the outdoor and indoor activities, with canoeing and local attractions being the highlights for us. Hosts Cindy and Mike were extremely helpful, offering excellent recommendations and exceeding our expectations. The place had a welcoming vibe. Highly recommended—a hidden gem.

Had an absolutely wonderful stay here! It is my second time taking a winter cabin trip to Cindy's place. Highly recommend! The cabin has everything you need, plus there is extra attention to detail here with local restaurant menus, all the light switches labeled, and nice linens. The place is spotless and there are wonderful views of the lake. Truly one of my all time favorite places to stay!

It was an awesome fall staycation for us, looking forward to enjoy this beauty in summer.

My wife and I had a great time! If you like the great outdoors, this is like camping but with a cute dome! Hot tub was nice and sauna was hot. Everything was heated with wood for winter, and we absolutely loved it! Thank you Lorne and family

Our family has visited this airbnb twice now because we love it so much! The airbnb is very spacious, is fully stocked of everything you could need, has beautiful views, the lake is clean and sandy, and there are lots of activities to keep busy and have fun especially with kids. Highly recommend!

Nancy's place was absolutely wonderful for our little fall vacation! the views were stunning. The big windows in the living room and bedroom were amazing for looking out over the water to the beautiful fall colours. We did the hike at Deacon's and it was gorgeous too. Thank you for the recommendation! The beach is lovely - I put my feet in. I think it would be great for a swim in the summer! Nancy was very quick to respond and helped us with anything we needed. thanks again for an amazing weekend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lorie's cottage! The cottage was incredibly clean and well-stocked with everything we needed and more. Despite the first two days being cold and rainy, we had a fantastic time indoors, spending quality time with our kids playing board games and doing puzzles. Once the weather improved, we took full advantage of the lake. The water was warm and perfect for swimming, and we loved having access to kayaks, a pedal boat, and paddle boards. It's the ideal place for a peaceful escape, and we would highly recommend Lorie's cottage to anyone looking for a quiet retreat.

Jennifer’s place was great! Beautiful location, private island all to ourselves. Boating over was easy peasy. We spent lots of time on the deck at the water and there are so many places to sit and relax both inside and out. We had a bonfire one night and played games the other nights. Overall a great experience. 😍

Our first AirBNB experience and definitely won’t be our last! We stayed here over the weekend for my husbands birthday and visited Algonquin Park. The space was spotless and had more amenities than expected! Kim was even able to provide a Pack N Play which made our stay 1000x easier with two littles in tow. The park down the street was great too (90’s/2000’s playground equipment… pretty sure my husband and I enjoyed it more than the kids)! The best part was definitely that view! I don’t think we’ll ever stay in a hotel again after this experience. We’ve already gone on Realtor to checkout available properties nearby lol. Definitely recommend!

I would come back here with friends and family for a getaway or special celebration any day! They know what you want to have fun and relax, and the set up makes it easy to slip right into vaycay mode - with a view to boot! But that sandy walk out to the river with the bright view from inside - beautiful. Thank you!

We stayed here in the thick of winter with our two kids (6 and 2) and our tiny kitten and dog. We had the most magical time! We arrived late at night and when my son woke up in the morning he exclaimed "wow! we're in the north pole! this is so beautiful!". The kitchen was stocked for professional cooking, I even found a pan to make pancakes in. The house was so warm and welcoming. This home has all of the comforts you can ask for, you can tell that is has been lived in by a thoughtful family. We found games and bubbles and even toboggans! Matt was an incredible and gracious host, he most certainly deserves superhost status! We'll be back in the summer to enjoy the proximity to the lake!
