Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Reeth

Lovely cottage near our son. We know the Bay Horse well and like it very much.

We had such a lovely stay - the photos cannot quite do the beautiful view justice. The house was spotlessly clean, and the perfect size for five adults, a baby and two dogs. The dogs had such a fantastic time running around the garden whilst the adults enjoyed the hot tub! Andrew's instructions were perfectly clear and he was very helpful and responsive during our stay. There are so many beautiful walks in the area. The house is full of modern amenities - the showers are fantastic. Highly recommended!

This is a great cottage. Easily accessible from major roads, yet tucked away in a quite, peaceful location with minimal passing traffic and views over farms and moorland. . The cottage is beautifully presented, clean and comfortable, with all facilities as listed. We loved the wood burning stove. Gary and Julia were friendly, accommodating hosts. Highly recommended. One word of warning, the cottage is close to the top of a very steep lane; not really walking distance to any amenities unless you are quite a robust specimen!

Mark Was very responsive. We were visiting relatives during Christmas break, the property was beautiful and suited our needs exactly very comfortable and lots of space for us. We would definitely book again on our next visit.

Had a great stay here with our 3 year old son. Parking spot on the cobbled driveway right next door to the cottage. Cottage was clean and spacious for the 3 of us. My son enjoyed playing with the dominoes and cards in the living room. Upstairs there is a good size bathroom with shower (no bath), small bottles of shower gel, shampoo and conditoner were provided as well as his and hers spray deodrant. Towels also provided. Bedrooms were spacious and clean. We stayed when it was windy and the sash window in the double room was banging in the night so we had to fold some paper and wedge it in the gap to stop the banging but apart from this the room was comfortable and cosy. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need including tea towels, washing up liquid, sponges etc. you just need some dishwasher tablets for the dishwasher.

Beautiful place in peaceful location. Spotlessly clean - looked like everything was new. Very comfortable furniture and bed and plenty of hot water and pressure in the shower. We didn't cook but there was everything provided if we had wanted to. A totally relaxing location we would love to return to.

We had a lovely few days at Martin’s Farmhouse. The location was great and the house was even more beautiful in person. We would definitely recommend a stay here and our group would love to go there again.

Stayed before and as before fantastic little place, went over for a china crisis gig at pub next door perfect location and perfect pub/gig venue, lovely host had the pleasure of meeting Julie and Peter fab couple will definitely be back so as.

We had a lovely time. It was like a home from home. Emma couldn't do enough for us. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of enticing cafes and restaurants in Bishop Auckland.

This place is gorgeous, home from home! Fiona was really kind and was flexible with check in and check out as we had a little one. Very clean space. Great location for what we needed as I was at a wedding at Middleton Lodge but not much to do in the area the day after or you’d have to drive instead of walk. Overall I’d highly recommend this place and would love to stay again.

Highly recommend - I've never stayed somewhere that has been so comprehensively well furnished and thought out- all of the creature comforts and additional extras as well. Beautifully clean, beautifully decorated and beautifully located for exploration of the area

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lisa’s place. We were delighted with the hamper of food essentials left for us. The accommodation was superb - spacious, clean, modern. It was just a short walk to the city centre for amenities and attractions. Would recommend! Paul & Clare

A beautiful property just a few minutes walk from town yet felt really secluded. Spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable, a real home from home.

Lovely apartment, there was just 2 of us so we only used the front bedroom which had a fab view down the street, the apartment was well equipped and very clean, recommend the Devonshire Arms (Drovers), very friendly staff and great food. Easy check in and was able to get in a bit earlier Will definitely be back 😊
