Cabin vacation rentals in Rappahannock County

Host was great and very helpful. Place was beautiful and the game room was great. However the cleaner (i’m assuming) was very rude to us when we showed up just a little early. I understand she needs time to finish prep, but there was no reason to start out by yelling and cursing at us. This is not a reflection of the host or the cabin, which were both amazing, but I feel it’s something that should come to attention.

This place is the perfect getaway! It’s a lovely spot to chill and get away from everything. Highly recommend - and some fun vineyard spots to check out in the area!

Loved it!! It is also very helpful that he gives additional instructions because we would’ve been lost without them, haha. A great place for a mini getaway!

This is a fantastic cabin! The view is superb and the cabin is perfectly cozy. Brian also did a great job communicating throughout our stay.

Jackie’s cabin was exactly as advertised; peaceful, secluded, with beautiful views of the starry sky. Very well appointed kitchen, and lots of room for lounging in the living room. Would recommend for anyone looking for quiet time away with high speed internet.

Our annual stay at Kelly’s cabin is honestly one of the highlights of our year. This peaceful, secluded, cozy home is the reason we’ve all fallen in love with “cabin weekend” and we’re so thankful to Kelly for sharing this gem. The home is wonderfully equipped with all the essentials to few right at home and the firewood for real fires and jacuzzi are the cherries on top of a great home. Would recommend to any group or family looking to get away and reconnect with each other.

Very nice cabin in a very quiet area. The kitchen is small but well enough equipped for us to make several meals - good variety of dishes and utensils. We enjoyed the porch, the fire pit and hot tub.

Booked for a readathon weekend with my sister. We stayed in the house for almost the entire trip, minus one trip out to get a massage. The place was very clean and cute, but from the images you get the sense that it’s a little bigger than when you’re seeing it in person. It was snowy and the road up was unplowed, but the host did warn us beforehand that we would need 4 wheel drive. It was still a little scary getting in and out (I’m just a girl, and not from somewhere where snow was common) but I did manage. The hot tub was very welcome, but I did wish that the snow was cleared from the patio for us before we arrived and had to do it ourselves. Was my first Airbnb booking and waited to review because I’d seen horror stories of crazy charges after the fact, but the price we paid to book was the price we paid total.

It was a wonderful cabin for a peaceful weekend getaway. The views were excellent, and it was warm and cozy inside even during some especially cold weather.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend away from the city and it was exactly what we were hoping for! The cabin is perfect for a couple and the trails in the area surrounding were the perfect escape to nature! Will definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the cabin for a 4 days and 3 nights for a ladies retreat that we do annually in different cities. Sherilynn made the process pretty seamless. The place is so cozy and warm, feels like home. We went to the national park and hiked a waterfall trail (dark hollow) then went to see the caverns not far from it. After that we went to the wineries nearby to try some local wines and have bunch. Was easy to cook and use the outdoor fire pit when it was dry out. We loved visiting the creek to have our coffee in the mornings. Would've been nice to stay longer or try out the cabin in the summer. Only thing I was worried about on the way to the cabin are the 7 little bridges over the creek one has to cross on the way in and out of the neighborhood (so to speak). We tried to come in before nightfall each night. All in all, had a wonderful time and loved our trip and our stay in Elkton.

We had an incredible time unplugging at Ragged Rock Ridge. There are very few views in the world like this one, especially with snow on the mountain. We spent hours hiking the property with our teens and dogs…then a curl up in front of the fire. Jeri was super responsive and kept us updated on the weather conditions. And William did the really challenging work of keeping the driveway safe. Can’t wait to return!

The place was awesome, clean, and beautiful. We went on a few hikes around the property, and one to a lookout spot nearby. So much to see and do around there. Levi even took the kids up to checkout the fish farm and they loved it. We'll definitely be staying again.

Such a unique property; truly one of a kind. We saw so much wildlife, absolutely LOVED the cabin, and the property is absolute stunning! Michelle was wonderful and very responsive. We are already planning to come back this summer with the kids.

Laurie’s place was great! Me and My wife wanted a getaway to spend time in the outdoors! The house was perfect very clean and organized.

Our stay at this Airbnb was amazing! The cabin had such a cozy, homey vibe that made it easy to relax and feel comfortable. It was the perfect getaway spot to escape from everything and enjoy some peace and quiet. The view was absolutely breathtaking and added so much to the experience. Waking up to such a serene and beautiful setting was unforgettable. The host was great, super responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

It was a perfect getaway. Mark is a great host. The house was clean and the interior design is beautiful. We loved every part of the house. The only downside is that we weren’t able to explore the outdoors because of rain but that’s more of mother nature’s doing. We seriously left thinking when will we plan another (longer) getaway there.

Tori was super helpful because we arrived in the dark and couldn’t see the sign. This home shares a driveway and we didn’t see both number markers, but we called Tori and she answered right away to help out. The home was clean and uncluttered. The pack and play was already put up for the baby and there was even a stroller there! It was simple but we were thankful for it as we left ours at home. Tori’s place was perfect and cozy. We loved the simple extras. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

So peaceful and quiet! We loved the cabin it had everything we needed and was nice and clean. It was a very nice getaway and the hosts were amazing! Very responsive and great communication. We ended up having some car issues and they were very helpful. We can’t thank them enough for their hospitality!

This retreat is the getaway location you need. The cabin is beautifully appointed with perfect little touches throughout. From the electric kettle for tea to the indoor fireplace it was perfectly cozy. Sitting in the hot tub we even had some deer friends come and say hello. Agree with the other reviews that a 4WD/AWD is needed, but Elizabeth makes this very clear and is very prompt with communications. Looking forward to coming back again.

Beautiful location and amazing views!! The driveway definitely requires a 4x4, especially in a snowstorm! We got snowed in for the week, but honestly didn't care because the house had more than enough, and we'd have definitely stayed longer if it would have been an option!

We loved our stay at the bison farm! It is a beautiful location, with lots of beautiful views. You can tour the grounds on foot or by car and we learned a lot about the bison by getting to talk to one of the owners while buying some bison meat at the store. The cottage is cozy, well stocked, comfortable and the decor is unique and interesting!

I stayed here for two nights and absolutely loved it. The cabin was spotless upon arrival, and the large windows overlooking the farm created such a cozy and peaceful atmosphere. The friendly working dogs added to the charm, always eager to say hello. It was a truly wonderful stay, and I’d love to return one day!
