This cabin was perfect! 15 min drive to Sunday was the best part. Had everything we needed, the wood stove was such a great touch. Heidi was responsive and kind, appreciated everything she did.

Been here multiple times and excellent every time. Would recommend to anybody. Will rent here again in the winter summer or spring and fall l.

We cozied in for a couple of days, highlights were playing board games and the hot tub on the deck. Pretty pond just steps away. The heart of the cabin is the back deck.

We had a fantastic weekend at the cabin! Gorgeous house stocked with tons of games, blankets, and everything you could need in the kitchen. Beautiful area and very close to sugarloaf making it perfect for a ski trip!

Perfect rental for a group ski weekend. Loved the hot tub, pool table, and game room!

Very spacious and well laid out- and about 10min drive to Sunday River. We had a large group of 28 and while it was a bit tight, everyone had a bed (as long as we doubled up). Parking was fine with some carpooling and the kitchen and living room was easy for everyone to spread out. The three bathrooms are spacious and the laundry was very helpful! Anna was a very responsive host and made the logistics of a large group very easy. The house is beautiful, clean, and accommodating and I would highly recommend!

Just returned from the most fantastic 2 weeks exploring the US which included a weeks stay at Kiwi Lodge. Where to start? This was exactly as described and the perfect base for exploring Maine. The property was spotless and has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. 3 beautiful bedrooms, 2 great sized bathrooms, wonderful living area and kitchen and fantastic games room. Hot tub was brilliant. The location on the lake is just perfect, we had the lake to ourselves and took the canoe out. Nearest town of Farmington has all the shops and cafes you’d need. The communication from Kay was great from the day we booked, and recommendations we took her up on were all absolutely spot on. Thank you Kay and thank you Kiwi Lodge for a holiday to remember!

Sherri’s place was great- our family stayed during a snow storm and we felt safe and cozy. The hot tub and string lights outside were a lovely touch- the hot tub felt new and very easy to use. Our kids enjoyed feeding the deer each day and it’s a short drive to Sugarloaf for great skiing. We’d love to come back!

Even before we arrived, Katie and Christian really made us feel comfortable and prepared for our stay. They communicated with us, gave us local suggestions, and promptly provided check in information and details. We had an incredible stay at their place in West Paris, Maine. It was relaxing, tranquil, and beautifully set on the mountain side overlooking the landscape. Every amenity was exactly how we envisioned it -and we particularly loved the hot tub. Katie and Christian were both readily available by text/call during our stay in case we had any issues or questions. We are thankful to them for such a great stay celebrating our honeymoon. We will certainly return for our anniversary! Thank you guys!

Stayed here for a ski weekend at sugarloaf and it was great! Super charming cabin, easy to get to and only a 30 minute drive to the mountain. This is our second time staying here, we love the quiet surroundings and relaxed atmosphere. The hot tub wasn’t super clean when we got there, but we messaged the host and someone came to clean it the next morning so we really appreciated the responsiveness. We would come back!

Very nice cabin it was perfect size for me and my friends clean and cozy , loved the Hot tub and the ski resort being walking distance just a few mins away. Will definitely consider staying here again. Will recommend to all my friends.

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect to get to the mountain to ski and the added trail system right out of our door was great to walk the dogs. The house was clean and cozy and we would absolutely love to stay again. Melissa was a fantastic host, she was accommodating to our requests, provided an early/ late checkout, and always responded within 10 minutes.

Our family of six (12, 10, 8, and 6 y/o) couldn't have asked for a better weekend! The views from the cabin were phenomenal. After a stunning sunset on Thursday night, we enjoyed a camp fire and then stayed up late counting satellites and shooting stars. Our kids had never seen the Milky Way before and the low ambient light provided them with their first look. Friday was gem mining in town, a visit to a local apple orchard, and then apple cobbler back at the cabin. Yum! Kids enjoyed building forts in the woods, playing football out front, and our daily hikes. Cabin was very clean and all appliances worked without issues. Definitely recommend!

Jamie’s cabin was the perfect peaceful mini getaway! Situated almost half way between SugarLoaf and Sunday River- it was the perfect retreat to experience both resorts and recharge at night! We arrived to a handwritten welcome card and presents for the puppies- how sweet is that?! The beds were comfy, the shower was HOT and the washer and dryer made it so easy to vacation without having chores to come home to! Would recommend to anyone!

booked specifically to go on the trails. just enough room for our truck, two quads and the 16' trailer. place was very clean . felt like it had just been built and we were the first ones to occupy. was right off of 13 mile trail and there's a gas station very close by with premium fuel. we had a blast. Its the perfect place to get on the trails and given the cleanliness and price of the places around, it is the perfect option. We will absolutely be back again.

A very cozy spot in a very beautiful spot. Liz was incredibly responsive and flexible. All needs were met during our stay. No WiFi was not an issue since cell service was very good. A great spot if you’re looking to do snow sports in the surrounding area.

This was our second stay at the Sugar Shack as it’s a great spot when skiing Sugarloaf. I really appreciate the well seasoned cast iron pans instead of using scratched up and flaking nonstick ones found at most Airbnbs. There are plenty of hooks to hang your ski gear. It’s also one of the few we’ve rented where I didn’t have to wash the glasses after pulling them out of the cabinet. Clearly the cleaner is very conscientious. We will definitely book again when returning to the area.

This cabin was perfect for all our needs. We had three beautiful ski days at Sunday River and felt blessed to bring our dogs with us on this little trip. Everything was clean, warm, and comfortable. We certainly felt right at home and would love to stay at the cabin sometime in the summer. The cabin sits on a little river in the middle of almost no where and yet close enough for anything you need.

We had an amazing time at Tyler’s place! Very spacious, easy to find and close to downtown Bethel and Sunday River. I’d 100% stay here again!
