Our stay at La Casa de La Colina, it was excellent 👌 Lidia from the first moment she gave us directions and recommendations to get to know the sector. She was in charge of taking us to the tour of Las Grutas del Encanto, which are located on the property and it was a wonderful experience 🤩 the photos do not do it justice. The casita comes with everything you need to be able to cook simple things, in addition to being provided with salt, sugar, oil and condiments. There were cookies that my kids really enjoyed. The property is 15 minutes away by car from Río Dulce, perfect for going to know Lake Izabal and Rio Dulce, with all its tourist places

Amazing experience! We are 100% satisfied with our stay at this place, a true natural paradise. The environment is beautiful, quiet and perfect for disconnecting and enjoying nature at its best. In addition, the host was always very attentive and available to resolve any concerns we had during our stay. We definitely recommend this place as a family vacation destination. Had a very relaxing few days at this place. The caretakers are a very attentive family always looking to please... and they food they cooked for us... always tasty! The landscaping around the house is lush and beautifully tropical, though we decided to drop a star for the fact that parts of the house need maintenance (water stains on ceiling and small patches of crumbling plaster on some bedroom walls), though the bathrooms have clearly been updated more recently. But cleanliness was always exceptional.

Place to feel at home in Puerto Barrios. There were some inconveniences with the heater in the second bathroom to shower as it was not working. But everything else is very good. Highly recommended. We will be back next time.

This amazing place is very peaceful and full of nature and solitude. Helpful insights: bring your groceries, goodies, hair dryer. We were able to get our shared boat parked in front of the beach. Via Tuc Tuc takes about 1 km from the house to the main street. Both Rutilia and her Husband, the House helpers, were extremely caring and helpful. the got us drinking water and extra towels. We enjoyed our stay very much. Siete Altares is nearby and Playa Blanca, both accessible via Boat.

We felt very good and had a great time in the very beautiful, well tidy place, the Hosts and the managers are very attentive and helped us with everything I recommend this place.
