When you open the front door to this penthouse apartment, you are immediately overwhelmed by the beauty of the unit and the incredible view out the panoramic windows of the Queen Charlotte Sound. It is a huge “Wow!” moment! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

I booked this accommodation for our TV host and he absolutely loved the place. He couldn't stop sending pictures of the beautiful vista from the deck and loved the peaceful surroundings right on the water. Tamsin was extremely helpful with extra amenities and local recommendations and check in was easy.

just magical. spectacular long sunny evenings on the huge deck. breathtaking views. fun kayaks. abundant nature and beauty. we even swam in bioluminescence in the sea each night. amazing to be on the Queen Charlotte track so you can walk to a variety of beaches and furneux lodge. Graeme is a really welcoming host so you feel at home. getting there on the cougarline is an adventure in itself.

My husband and I recently stayed at Carolyn’s. Thoroughly enjoyed it, was exactly as advertised. Location was amazing, just a 10 minute stroll from the Interislander Terminal. Never got tired of the view it looked out onto the marina and the Marlborough Sound - stunning!! Would definitely recommend, especially for a family! Tracey Sydney, Australia

This is a fabulous place, everything was A1. Impeccably clean, well equipped, comfortable beds ... the list goes on. Tania was there to meet us and showed us around the house. The garden is a delight. Our one disappointment is that we were too early for the figs! :-) Thank you Tania.

We had a pleasant stay. The house is built to make the most of the location, with a spacious patio overlooking Waikawa harbour. It is well equipped for cooking and entertaining. It’s an idyllic retreat, yet conveniently located just outside Picton which offers restaurants, cafes and two outstanding bookstores. Only half an hour’s drive away are the celebrated Marlborough vineyards some of which have excellent restaurants such as Wairau River. 

A well equipped lovely place in one of the world’s special places. Exceeded our expectations and a great spot to have a break.

Riki’s place is lovely, right on the water, 2 mins to the high street. Place is huge, much bigger than the photos suggested! The big basket of kids toys was a nice touch. My son played with the trains loads! Really responsive when we messaged. All in all great place!

We enjoyed our stay here. The view is incredible and we loved being able to access the waterfront and use of the kayaks. Margaret was so nice and was always quick to respond to any messages. The property matched the description and photos.
