Cottage vacation rentals in Quebec

We spent 4 nights to do some ice fishing. We had 9 people in total and had more than enough room. Everything was spotless and as described in the listing. As a bonus, we had a very successful fishing trip! The property looks like it would be fabulous in the summer as well.

we had a great weekend! cottage was just as described, all basic necessities are provided, and Pravena is very responsive and helpful. The cottage is very nice, functional, and the hot tub was great.

My wife and I stayed here the first two nights of our marriage and couldn’t have made a better choice. Quiet, beautiful surroundings. The hot tub was great. There was great hiking right out the front door. Bring snowshoes if you visit during winter and just head up the road past the reservoir. As other guests have said, there’s a very friendly red squirrel who will come eat peanuts (provided by the host) right out of your hand. The kitchen was generally very well supplied. Lots of pots and pans, usable knives, and almost any accessory one might need. There’s even a mortar and pestle.

I had such an amazing experience with my family at Rita’s home. Check in was incredibly easy, the home was inviting and warm and the view was everything even though the lake was frozen over, we enjoyed every second of our time there. Thank you Rita

This was my first experience with an air BnB, and it will not be my last! Especially with Liane. Aside from her being extremely kind, clear and direct- she was very prompt with replying. The cottage was absolutely beautiful. The attentiveness to detail was extremely apparent. The directions also for finding our way around outside to hot tub etc were very clear around the property. I cannot say enough good things about this place! We are planning a trip back already and we haven’t unpacked. For my daughter’s 7th birthday, Liane went above and beyond with accommodating us to make it a special memory. The bed is extremely comfortable, also. I cannot wait to recommend this to my coworkers and friends more than I have already! If I could give ten stars I would!!!! Thank you so much!!! The house and location was fabulous. There is a lot to do within 30 minutes. We snowshoed in the national park which is close by and went to Mont Tremblant. Dinner at Rustique was wonderful and the market up the street had lots of staples plus pre made meals. The sauna and hot tub were lovely after a day of playing in the snow. The house is very comfortable and the view of the lake with mountain are beautiful. Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed two nights at McLeod cove and it was lovely! Everything was clean, comfortable and on a beautiful spot! I asked questions right before our teip and Shelia was so quivk to respond and very helpful! Would definitely recommend staying here to tour around CB!

The place has a beautiful location and everything you could wish for. Amazing location to explore the area around and Cape Breton. I wish I could've stayed longer.

We had a perfect stay with Pam and Bryan. Their accommodation is beautiful, spotlessly clean, with many amenities that make the stay very pleasant. The communication with them was smooth and warm, which made the experience even better. We left delighted and highly recommend their accommodation!

The kw house is one of a kind , relaxing on the patio looking down at the river ,well decorated inside and outside the cottage makes you feel right away on vacation , quiet and enjoyable Place,always having a perfect stay , will be back next year!

Beautiful area , had everything we needed

My family and I stayed two nights and had the best time. Joe had everything we needed. We stayed over thanksgiving weekend so we could go fishing, cooked a turkey and didn’t have to leave our pup home with a sitter. Beautiful property, so peaceful and my daughter loved the fire pit. Very few people have Airbnb’s in Arichat. We love coming out to Arichat twice a year or so to visit our family. Shelly’s place is the place to be if you are looking for accommodations in the heart of the town right on the local beach. We brought our two dogs and took them for a leisurely walk on Pondville beach followed up with an evening of enjoying a nice meal at the local restaurant, and then we spent the later half of the night enjoying the fire stick TV streaming services. Ended off with a wonderful sleep in the outstandingly comfortable beds. I haven’t felt sheets that soft in a long time. You can tell Shelly puts in all the effort to ensure your beach escape is exceptional.

We booked under the general listing (Having not realized that there were more specific ones) so Dan was kind enough to choose a cottage based on what he believed would be appropriate for the temperatures and time of year. And when we met down in the driveway upon arrival, he was immediately very friendly and we had a great conversation, and he directed us up to our cabin which was an excellent choice, beautiful view of the lake, nice amount of shade, beautiful inside (looked like it had recently had some updates as well), very clean, and very well-appointed - full amenities, very comfortable space…more like a home than a cottage. Had a lovely conversation with Pam while we were checking out. We greatly enjoyed our experience and hope to return next year!

Chantyle's cottage was a great find for our family. While it was basic and nothing fancy but that is just what our family loves. We basically only need a spot to sleep and cook, other then that we are outside enjoying the nature we are surrounded by, and this spot was perfect The beach was perfect for swimming, crystal clear, and shallow so the kids could walk out for quite some distance. On top of the beautiful area and comfortable rustic cabin we were greeted by a very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful campground manager Phil and his wife Tanya. Helped us with things we needed right away and gave us suggestions on places to check out that our kids ended up loving....overall amazing experience thanks for having our family stay it was a great location and great place. friendly seasonal campers as well. our family will definitely be back ?

What a wonderful stay this was! The place was clean and tidy, with an amazing and private view of the lake. Host was responsive to questions, I would definitely recommend!

This cottage is wonderful -- a lovely space... a peaceful atmosphere... a water view with cloudscapes, boats and seals... an intriguing shoreline to explore... a friendly host's warm welcome... all combined to create a magical experience. We left feeling renewed and inspired.

My friends and I stayed at Hong's place October 2024. We've stayed there before and had a great time, and this time was no different. Even before checking in Hong made sure all questions were answered and gave us a guide to the place and the area. The check in experience was seamless and accommodating, and the cottage was cleaned very well. The cottage itself is so warm and cozy, and the surrounding area is beautiful. We would definitely stay here again!
