Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Putnam Valley

The house is very comfortable. It feels surprisingly roomy. We enjoyed our stay. The host responded quickly to a couple of questions we had.

House was spotlessly and thoughtfully decorated. The bed was comfortable and hot tub was absolutely phenomenal. Skylights let in beautiful natural light for reading and relaxing. Michael and Enrique were proactive about reaching out beforehand with the house information and we really, really enjoyed our stay. We're not used to baseboard heating so some of the noise from the heating surprised us, but that's to be expected with any place that's not your home. Would gladly stay here again.

The previous reviews were all positive so I wasn’t surprised by how pleasant this listing was and how Dinesh goes out of his way to accommodate guests. Everything was wonderful. Both nights we enjoyed the large fireplace in the large living room, right off the large kitchen. All the spaces are large here. Plenty of room to spread out with friends or family. We were all impressed.

Jane and Klay were great hosts and their home in Stone Ridge was beautiful and spacious with great amenities. We loved the fireplace and our dog loved the huge front and backyard with easy to access trails right from the property. The hosts were proactive with communication and gave really nice recommendations for local hikes and restaurants. We had a beautiful snowy weekend and would definitely love to come back. Thanks again!!

This was the perfect getaway with the dogs. The space was cozy and clean. We loved watching the dogs run around in the backyard and throughly enjoyed our walk along the river.

Wonderful host. Very clear and respectful-and in our case helped us out beautifully in a pinch. The house is very comfortable—a classic farmhouse with plenty of amenities. The record player/vinyl collection is an added bonus. The word burning stove and the dayroom it is in is a great room to lounge in, the kitchen is well stocked, and the surrounding area is very quiet and quite pretty-wonderful hemlock groves across the main road down the hill. Not far from Livingston manor and other small nice towns. Definitely would recommend and would be happy to return. Ideal for a small group getaway. And also, though it is close to a decent sized road, in the winter when we were there for 3 nights-maybe a half dozen cars. Extremely quiet in general and at night specifically.

My son and I visited a school nearby and the property was great fit for us - only 10 minutes from the school and hockey rink, exactly what we needed.

Was in the area to visit family and this was a perfect location for me. Had just what my family needed to have a great weekend

Graham's place in Beacon was exactly what we needed for a restorative get-away for my wife's birthday. The apartment itself is very charming with everything we needed, and very tastefully decorated. We were able to genuinely relax there. We opted to pay extra for use of the outdoor hot tub overlooking Fishkill Creek and Mt. Beacon, and that was just the best! We were in the hot tub morning, afternoon, and evening, and had some of the best conversations we've had in some time there. We will definitely return many times in the future!

Ann Marie was incredible, and so was the space! It was clean, freshly stocked with anything we could possibly need, and Ann Marie was incredibly attentive and communcative. She left absolutely no stone unturned and was available if we needed anything at all - she even came out while I was cleaning snow off of my car to give me a better brush to make that easier as well. I've stayed at a number of Bnb's in the last few years and I can honestly say this is one of the best experiences I've ever had. If you're looking to stay in the Hudson Valley/Beacon area, I cannot recommend staying here enough, you won't regret it. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable!

Lovely quiet, pet-friendly place above the garage but note that there is a steep staircase to get up to the second floor. Very friendly hosts - greeted me on arrival and had left the door unlocked so entry was easy and the key was available for my use. Comfy bed, cozy and warm rooms with remote-controlled mini-splits in both the living room and bedroom. Bathroom with tub and separate shower - the water pressure was not as strong in the shower as I would have liked, but it was nice to have the skylight in there. My GPS found it easily but a larger sign with the house number would be helpful, especially at night. I would definitely stay there again.

Welcoming space, lovely to behold, beautiful to occupy, even if only for a day. Outstanding hostess.

I stayed at Ginger's place for work trip in Greenwich and it was perfect. A beautiful, roomy space, studio style in a private residence with a separate entrance. I felt perfectly safe, which is a priority for me as a single woman who travels for work. It was close to everything I needed, had all the amenities and then some. I wish I had a chance to light the fireplace, it looked so cozy. The bed was very comfortable, the stairs were steep but with a good sturdy railing and totally manageable. Parking was very convenient on site. Ginger was very sweet and provided information about the area and a few coffee pods for me as I got in late and was up for work early. I absolutely plan to stay again next time I am in the area.

Candy and Will were great hosts.. Responsive and informative about the apartment. The apartment was as described -clean- comfortable- easily accessible and warm. ( January weather!) The neighborhood was great for a morning walk.. The bed was incredibly comfortable.. just what I needed after a 4 hour drive.. And a comfortable room with a cozy gas fireplace! Would happily return.. We have stayed at a good amount of places in Warwick and Patrick’s place was our favorite stay. Super clean and cozy place that was absolutely walkable to the village area. The heated bathroom floors were a game changer and the fireplace stove in the sun room allowed for a very comfortable stay. Will def book Patrick’s place again.

My friends and I stayed at Brygida and Neil's for a winter weekend away from the city, and we all absolutely fell in love with the house. The place was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Within the house, there's plenty to do — hot tub, games, pool table, a great kitchen for cooking — even in the dead of winter. It's also really close to Dia:Beacon, which is definitely worth a visit. And Neil was incredibly responsive and helpful in addressing a small issue we had. It's so nice to have such an incredible getaway only 1.5 hours from New York. We need to come back in the summer to take advantage of the pool :)

Amazing home and well thought out with furniture and design. Felt very comfortable staying there and instructions were very clear. Enjoyed all the amenities there. It’s as pictured and won’t be disappointed with your stay there in the winter. We had snow and the scenario around was beautiful

The house was lovely and very clean and Piotr was an excellent host and even met us at check in to show us around. There are 4 bedrooms and each bedroom has its own bathroom which was very convenient for us. The kitchen was well stocked and It was very comfortable stay for my family of 7 adults and two babies and two dogs. One bedroom is on the main floor and two bedrooms are on the walkout lower level and one bedroom is on the upper floor. To get to the upper floor there is a steep winding staircase that wasn’t an issue for us, but I would not recommended it for small children or toddlers. The outdoor hot tub was a nice addition.

Absolutely beautiful home! Carl and Rebecca were wonderful hosts - they were super responsive and accommodating. And their home is lovely down to all the little details, from the soft bathrobes to the warm spaces to hang out in. We had a wonderful stay at their home and would love to come back!

Serg and his team were amazing! They were extremely communicative, respectful, and helpful. Great response time and very flexible! The place was immaculate and definitely worth it! Would 100% stay again.

We had a fabulous time at this beautiful, spacious, comfortable home in New Paltz. We were nine family members, ages 6-75, who enjoyed four days here after our son’s wedding. It was the perfect place to decompress from a very exciting and magical wedding weekend. The house is spacious and comfortable with a number of areas to relax and enjoy- indoors and out. The pool was a lot of fun, and the house was well provisioned and nicely decorated. It was a rare treat to find a rental house that included basic supplies such as spices, pantry staples like flour and sugar, etc. Ken was an amazing host, very responsive if we had a question and provided a great list of local resources and recommendations that was very helpful. New Paltz is a fun town with a number of good restaurants and more to do in the area than we could manage in four days. Highlights included a day trip to Storm King (fabulous!) and another day to Hyde Park where we visited the Roosevelt homestead and Vanderbilt mansion.

The house is wonderful! We rented it for two nights to celebrate a special event with a group of ladies, and everything worked perfectly. Coordination with the management was seamless, including details like ensuring a comfortable temperature in the house and arranging check-in times. The house is tastefully decorated with unique details and beautiful furniture. We transformed it into a true celebration palace with some added decorations, flowers, candles, a fireplace, and great music! Everyone had an amazing time. I highly recommend this property—thank you for helping make our event so memorable!

All I can say is wow! What a place. We celebrated my wife’s birthday here with some friends and the place was cozy, warm, modern, and clean. The place had everything we needed for the weekend- would definitely recommend this place, and excited to come back!
