Cottage vacation rentals in Puntagorda

We had a very nice stay. The house was nice and spacious and the view was fantastic. Everything was thought of in terms of amenities in the house. Also with young children (1-4 years) this was a great location.

We spent 5 days there, in a complete calm. The house is very nice, a bottle of red wine and chocolates were waiting for us. Very nice place to relax. The kitchen is well equipped, only dish towels were missing to wipe dishes. as there is no dishwasher. A small downside though, we would have liked to meet our host.

We stayed at the property for a week and were very satisfied with our stay overall. Located just above the village of El Paso in the mountains, the property is easy to reach by public transport. It takes 10-15 minutes to walk to a bus stop and 20 minutes to El Paso (but this path leads steeply downhill). There is also a parking space on the property. The hostess was easily accessible and always friendly and helpful. Communication was very good right from the beginning. The only thing we didn't like so much was the fact that the hot tub couldn't be used. Unfortunately, the photos and description of the home suggest something different.

our stay at Heinz's place was great. The cottage was very beautiful and modern and equipped with everything. We were warmly welcomed by Heinz and his wife. The advocados were also very tasty. You can sit there wonderfully privately.

We had a very nice time at Casa Cesar. The house is equipped with everything important, the view of the sea from the terrace is beautiful and we were able to use the hot tub as promised. Also cozy was the fireplace in the living room, which made the stay very pleasant in the cooler evening hours. We recommend the property and would reserve there again in case we return to La Palma.

The house was nicely. It's comfortable and very quiet. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking. It has a very nice terrace in front of the house. Antonio Jesus is very nice and attentive

We stayed there for 5 days in February and felt comfortable. The Casa is very clean & super equipped, there is even washing machine and iron. There were only two of us and there would have been easy space for 5 people. Kitchen + living room are spacious, a fireplace creates a homely atmosphere, but has not provided much heat. This is the only drawback: with cool outside temperatures like in the morning and evening in Feb it is quite cool in the house. The path to the Casa was a real adventure for us flat road operators with its steep ascent, but that is part of La Palma. Around it is quiet, only the chickens provide rural noise ;) In the village, there are 2-3 restaurants, the connection to Santa Cruz is easy both by car and bus (about 20 minutes). Communication with Nieves was smooth and very pleasant.

The house doesn't lack anything. Located in a beautiful place where nature buzzes, in a quiet setting that we could enjoy in exclusivity with our dog. The kindness, friendliness, and good communication from the host has been outstanding. We will be happy to repeat the experience.

We enjoyed the fantastic view and the quiet location in nature very much, paradise! We got some delicacies from the garden, which was very nice. We were received and treated in a very friendly manner.

This was the best AirBnb we have stayed at so far! The photos nearly do not do it justice; the area of this house is perfect. It is quiet, removed from tourists and neighbors, and covered in hundreds of succulents and beautiful flora! It is a little bit of a drive from main things (there are nearby cafes and restaurants) but we enjoyed that and chose it for that reason. Both the inside and the outside of the house are comfortable and fun to hang out in and set up basecamp for your vacation to La Palma. With an hour's drive, you can access many fun things and other cities, but still go 'home' at the end of the day to your own slice of heaven. Our hosts were more than helpful, sweet, and communicative! We would stay again in a heartbeat!

An ideal accommodation if you are interested in volcanoes, as the house is located in the middle of a lava flow of 1949. In addition, you are surrounded by the lava ash of the new volcano tajogaite, whose lava flow is also in the immediate vicinity. In addition, the as volcano museum is 2 minutes by foot. The neighboring house has sufficient distance. The terrace is surrounded by ficus tree. Anna, who keeps the house clean and got to meet, is a very pleasant and friendly person. Las Manchas is a small place that can only be reached from the south because of the new lava flow. Shopping is only possible beforehand, best of all in Los Llanos!

Awara's house is perfect, well equipped, superb terrace with sea views, quiet, surrounded by terraced gardens. The place is great. We were very well hosted by Ana Rosa who accompanied us to the house. The climb is indeed surprising the first time, but at the second time, we get used to it quickly, anyway all the roads meander, climb and descend steeply at La Palma, but that's its charm. Awara's house is perfect, well-equiped, with a wonderful terrace overviewing the sea. The place is calm, surrounded by terraced orchards. The place is just wonderful. Ana Rosa was waiting for us at the meeting place near the house on the main road to guide us to the house, up a steep hill. Of course, the first time you drive up the narrow track, you might be suprised, especially if you arrive at night time, as we did, but you'll soon get used to it, every road is winding up and down steeply in La Palma, that's what makes the island special.

We felt comfortable right from the start. Despite the linguistic difficulties (there are translation programs!!) immediately had friendly contact!! From the house, the island is easily accessible everywhere. Alberto's recommendations for good and also inexpensive restaurants were all accurate.

Beatrice's Canarian house has character, especially the kitchen is equipped with good appliances and many details, we hadn't missed anything. The living area is cozy and offers amazing views of the sea and sunrise. The lower floor with bedrooms and bathroom is a bit dark, but it stayed nice and cool there when it got hot. The bed is comfortable and the two terraces almost always offer a shade spot. From the house you can take a nice walk through flower and herbal meadows and there are also some hiking trails directly from the village into the surrounding area or even into the town of Santa Cruz. Puntallana is a good base for us to explore the northern part of La Palma. Thank you Beatrice, we will be happy to come back sometime!

Accommodation with very good views,clean and with all amenities.

The stay at the finca was exactly as we imagined it. The terrace was the perfect place for breakfast in the morning sun and in the evening for a meal with the great views of the sea and palm trees.

A dream house, atop a terrain with ocean views filled with avocados, flowers, palm tree roses in La Breña Alta, of the most beautiful landscapes of La Palma. Marisol left us flowers in the rooms, which smelled incredible, even gifts of kings for our daughters in the cabinets of the house. The house is equipped with everything , to make juices in the morning infusions at night and cook when the excellent local product is fancy. Highlight the absolute silence of the nights that guarantee a full rest.

We greatly enjoyed staying at Casa Leal. Paco met us and directed us to the property as it was a little off the beaten track in a rural area. The casa was very comfortable and exceptionally well equipped with everything we needed. It was lovely have a huge bowl of fruit to welcome us. The property is accessible by bus, but a car is very useful to get to supermarkets or restaurants. Thank you for a lovely stay in La Palma and we highly recommend Casa Leal. Clive and Gillian

An absolute insider tip in La Palma! This small, charming place in the mountains has enchanted us right from the start. The location is simply fantastic: quiet, secluded and with a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. Jose was incredibly friendly and the communication worked great!. The house itself is lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Especially the terrace and the pool for breakfast or simply to relax is a highlight. We felt completely comfortable here!

We had a wonderful fortnight in La Palma! We absolutely loved the traditional finca - which we found very comfortable - the beautiful tropical gardens and pool, and the stunning views out to sea. Our host was also very friendly, helpful and responsive. The property is very remote so a car is definitely needed but that is undoubtedly part of the charm. It is worth noting that the property is effectively open plan - as none of the walls (other than the bathroom) reach the ceiling - which means noise could be a bit of a problem but it didn't bother us (two adults, two kids). The second room is also quite snug for two teens but perfectly comfortable with good storage. Finally it's worth noting the property doesn't have a conventional oven but there is a gas hob, microwave and BBQ. Highly recommended.
