This villa is where you want to be after a long exhausting travel. Staff is very welcoming. The rooms are simple, but clean and have what you need. Kids absolutely loved the pool. Kitchen is separate from the rooms and in the group area. The villa is spacious and private. This will be our first choice when we visit Puerto Princessa again.

Breezy tropical villa with mountain view

GraceRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This is not just another rental- it is an experience. The grounds, the wildlife, the plants, the hosts, the dogs, and the home. Alexis and Ton’s oasis is an absolute island dream. Their villa is built with such beautiful craftsmanship. It is so peaceful, romantic, organic and comfortable. The flora and fauna around the house and property is so lush and stunning. Alexis and Ton were both so wonderful and very accommodating. They made our trip very easeful and were full of great recommendations. It was really nice to have them on the property.

Kaibigan Soul Camp • Kingfisher II • eat.stay.love

CaliRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Ellie and her partner were so kind to us. Their house was a teeny difficult to find but the location sends you right to the entrance of the road. Just go along and park in the grass to the left and go down the steps. it leads you right to their base camp The food they cooked was AMAZING, fresh, all grown on their property. They ask for 1000-1500 peso depending on how much food you need (1/2 board or full) The scenery was wonderful, so beautiful but as far as the ocean, I recommend bringing water shoes if you plan on swimming in the back, it is rocky and gets clear once you’re about waist or chest deep. There’s also a beach 15 minute walk on the other side for bigger waves and no rocks (waterfall nearby somewhere I can’t remember) There’s no A/C, or WiFi or anything but the evening was cool enough we needed the sheet in the middle of the night (we went in Jan.) and the bathroom was not bad at all as it was outside. Very refreshing. Overall, amazing place and we will be back :)

Turtle Bay Villa, near Underground River, Palawan

SaraRating, 5 stars16 months ago
Turtle Bay Villa is truly unique and beautiful. Gigi, Benito, and their family made the stay even better! They are kind, incredibly helpful, and have so much local knowledge. Gigi has the patience of a saint and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Gigi set up the subterranean river tour, mangroves, zip line, basically anything we wanted to do she helped us. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms. This was truly a wonderful experience.

Kaibigan Soul Camp • Kingfisher I • beach villa

SalRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Can you hear that? A morning rooster, the sea rolls in, someone cuts Buko, someone else is in the kitchen preparing fruit, flipping a pancake, coffee is being made, have you said good morning to Jack? The fisherman are back after a night out at sea, a cat is meows for breakfast. This morning there is rain, beautiful thick gentle tropical rain. The shower head is a coconut. Clever. Are you sleeping in, or doing yoga? Can you smell the scent of local honey? Have you tasted Moringa in your soup? Are you dreaming yet of fish with vinegar and calamansi and rice and green papaya salad and then sweet ube? Did you leave your book in the hammock? Let's walk along the beach. The shells are stunning. Would you like to surf or play pool with the local kids? There is a gentle breeze, a family from Italy, Germans, French and us Aussies - tonight at one table we'll chat and share and maybe play cards. World's greatest Gin and Tonic? Thank you Eli and Pasci for sharing your souls - love SalMarkHat

Designer Villa with pool in beautiful garden

MatthewRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Nice stay, they treat you like family and are extremely hospitable and kind. I feel like we just went at a bad time, as they had construction going on right next to the villa, and the water didn’t work for the first day which was a big bummer after such long travel days. Being very honest the negatives are: It’s not as private as it looks in the photos- is directly after the gate and there is a good amount of people coming and going, there is also another house 15m away, the dogs bark a lot at night, there’s a strange strong chemical smell from the middle bedroom, and the WiFi was unusable for remote work, tracked it at 1 - 2.2mbps. BUT! I would stay here again, and very much enjoyed the hospitality and relaxing on the roof top at night where there were surprisingly no mosquitoes, it’s also a very good hub to get a scooter and venture from. There’s a full blown mall only 5km away and the kitchen at the home is well stocked with cooking equipment.
