Vacation rentals in Puerto Mutis

We spent 3 wonderful days in Mauricio's apartment. He was kind and very helpful, giving us tips already before arrival and was super nice with our kids, e.g. showed them flowers in the yard. The apartment looks as beautiful as in the pictures. Location is great, we did a hike to the beautiful waterfall and walked to the beach without having to get into the car.

Next time I’d try to book directly with Bambuda. The hotel is new and beautiful with a nice pool, ocean view, and great restaurant. The one thing that was challenging is they were unable to provide a blanket for the bunk beds, only a sheet (or extra) which was a challenge and our kids ended up in bed with us. Otherwise the stay was great.

Brett!The house is very well made and very convenient, we enjoyed the barbecue and rooftop where we observed the shooting stars. Everything is well thought out, the rooftop bar, the bathroom is very pretty, the kitchen has everything you need to enjoy the fresh fish of the area! But the big plus is of course the park that surrounds the house! We spent one morning strolling there, watching birds and crocodiles, it's amazing to have all this fauna and flora in your garden! There's even access to the beach, it's really an amazing Airbnb. We're already planning to come back! If we had planned a little better, we would have come directly by plane from Panama, there is a runway directly in the garden! It's a small budget but it's mostly a crazy experience! Thank you again Brett for being such good advice, it's great to come across such kind hosts! And thank you for the coffee, we will make good use of it!

Katie and Scot are by far one of the best hosts I have had in all my AirBnB stays. Any questions we had they went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable. Katie’s cooking was excellent and Scot put us on some world class fishing. They went from being our hosts to now people we call friends. I would recommend their place to anyone. They are walking distance to restaurants, hiking trails, the river and a gorgeous waterfall. 10/10 don’t miss out on booking with them. Also the plunge pool was plus when cooling down after a day at the beach.

There is a very good reason that this Airbnb has 5 star reviews! Dawn and Aly are spectacular hosts that are always available to answer questions and provide input into things to do in their area. The casita is very well equipped and the beds super comfortable. But the highlight had to be the pool and cabana which we used multiple times a day for refreshing dips. Lastly, if you are a birder, this place does not disappoint in terms of how plentiful the birds are. That is directly due to the many trees and other vegetation surrounding the property. Paradise found indeed!

We absolutely loved our stay at Darren's place. The view is priceless with beautiful sunsets and the infinity pool is all you need for an ultimate relaxation. The house was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. I personally dig the fact that there is no TV in the house because it forces you to connect with nature and enjoy the area that has so much to offer. The kitchen was well equipped for quick meals and the grill was a plus. We would definitely stay at this house again when we visit the area.

We had an absolutely magical stay at this incredible Airbnb! Nestled in the jungle with parrots and monkeys, it was only a short walk to a secluded beach. The sound of the waves from the deck was so peaceful and added to the charm of the place. We loved taking sunset walks on the beach, searching for shells, and simply enjoying the breathtaking views. The pool was a huge hit with our kids. The Airbnb itself was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Michael and Lynn were fantastic hosts—super responsive, accommodating, and went above and beyond, even letting us have a late check-out so we could enjoy one last surf session before heading back to Panama City. The location was perfect, just a 15-minute drive to Playa Morrillo for daily surfing and another 15 minutes to the charming town of Torio. We loved this place and can’t wait to visit again one day soon. Highly recommend!

Cozy, nice and very quiet place. You feel very much at home in the cottage and it has everything you need such as hot water, a good bed and a nice kitchen with lots of pans etc and delicious coffee! Highly recommendable.

Leo is a great host and the house was perfect for us. The house is located in a quiet part of Santa Catalina; a short walk to the larger and nicer beach: Playa El Estero, and an easy walk to the Santa Catalina city beach where excursions depart for Coiba or boat rides to Santa Catalina island. Multiple great restaurants nearby, walkable and if you have a car, easy to park anywhere in Santa Catalina - including near beaches. Leo was super responsive and helpful with little details - we highly recommend his place.
