Giulio was able to create a corner of paradise, surrounded by greenery and tranquility, with a breathtaking view of Lake Trasimeno. A little difficult to reach because of the white road to walk, but you know the beautiful things are never easy to get to, but it's absolutely worth it. Giulio is a wonderful person, as well as all his staff, starting with Gianluca, a very kind and very prepared guy. We had a great meal at his restaurant, and slept in a clean, charming room with a breathtaking view. Experience to repeat, thank you Giulio.

Loved our stay at il bastione, jacopo and his family were very kind and the food they cooked up for breakfast (and the additional, yet outstanding dinner) was delicious to say the least. The entire property was beautiful, with expansive views and a great central location to visit nearby towns such as spello and Assisi. The road to the property was pretty intense, especially if driving a manual vehicle, but manageable and necessary to enter such a peaceful and secluded property. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

This place is amazing. We loved the areas where you could relax and enjoy the views throughout the day. The pool area is beautiful with fantastic views down and across to the hills. We wish we were still there! The room was really good and the bed was comfortable. There was a nice seating area for each of the stable rooms so that you could enjoy the panoramic view. Breakfast was great and the evening meals were particularly amazing. There is a lot to eat! For €28.50 a head you will get wine, antipasti, soup, primi, secondi, dessert and coffee/liquor. I just sat there shaking me head because I was loving the taste of every one of the fresh dishes that came. Jacopo, has father, and the staff there do a very very good job of looking after you in this amazing place that is full of history

A quiet place, very comfortable from a logistical point of view, with a friendly and knowledgeable staff and a restaurant with great food and very nice chef!

the accommodation matches the photos, is in the center, so you can easily reach restaurants/bars and everything you need, but the car is left outside the center at least a 10-minute walk away paying for parking.

Finely furnished place and top cleanliness. Great central location, we easily reached all the places to visit. The host is super helpful and provided us with specific directions to get to the room. Recommended.
