Luca was very helpful and approachable. We felt so relaxed with him and could ask anything. The apartment is as described. You do really need to have a car to be able to go places but having the Explora lake access is great for relaxing and water activities. As has been mentioned, the train is really not an issue in terms of noise.

Staying at Paola's place was just what my mom and I needed for a lakeside getaway. Paola accepted my request immediately despite few days notice, and although she was away on her business trip, her collaborator helped us check-in while staying in close touch with me for the whole process. The place is as described with a lake-front view of Lago Maggiore from the living room and the bedroom, and the side view of the beautiful garden. It was located on a gated hillside community so it felt safe, secure, and secluded. The apartment was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need for a stay from laundry detergent to balsamic vinegar and a bottled water in the fridge. The great care and warm hospitality of Paola shined through on every corner from the choice of well-appointed furnitures to flower patterned toilet rolls. It was so wonderful staying in on one rainy day as we felt right at home reading and sipping tea as we watched the rain fall on the lake. We can't wait to return!

Recommendation! The apartment consists of an entrance area with kitchen and two sofas, on the level above is a large bedroom with access to the balcony as well as a small bathroom. Comfortable and practical at the same time. Everything was clean so far; I had just overlooked the fact that pets are allowed and I noticed it as an animal hair allergy sufferer. Thanks to the existing washing machine (where there is still an oven in the pictures - there is no longer there) we were able to wash all the affected covers and then it worked. Alberto is a great and very friendly host, always quick to respond, helpful and understanding. What else you should know: Above the apartment is another apartment for rent. Surely good if you're traveling with friends. However, it also affects privacy a little; you can hear yourself and the great large glass window without a curtain allows generous insights here.

We enjoyed our week in Casa Mariaclara very much, lovely peaceful house, beautiful garden which our dog adored roaming in. Maureen was a super friendly host, we felt very welcome and communication was easy and friendly. The short walk to the local beach on Lake Orta is especially nice in the evening with the beautiful light over the lake. Pettenasco and nearby Orta San Gulio very pretty. The only fly in the ointment for us were the mosquitos, but suppose that is the same everywhere on the italian lakes... Make sure you have a good repellent when visiting. We will return, but maybe earlier in the year.

There were housekeepers on site who were always available and helped us immediately with any problems. They were super lovely and very helpful. You can't drive up to the house with a big camper, but we were able to park it further down, which was still on the property. Normal cars are no problem. Very well maintained house and grounds. Each room has its own bathroom. Everything is super well equipped. Hairdryer, lots of bath towels, good kitchen equipment (lower kitchen has a lot more) and the massage chair is a dream. Simply perfect. We enjoyed it very much!

We felt very comfortable in the middle of the small village of Lesa! Also very suitable with dog, as beautiful walks overlooking the lake can be reached directly from the house. Silvia was a great host!

We had a great stay with friends in this magnificent villa located next to the lake and with a beautiful view of the mountain. There are plenty of activities to do, good restaurants and Mrs. Kristina, a very nice personnes, advised us on restaurants and activities to do and I thank her and with the swimming pool it was incredible. Overall, I recommend this villa to family or friends.

Casa Dolce Vita was the perfect 4-day break for my son and I. Fantastic accommodation, provided everything that we needed with very beautiful view over the lake from the lounge and balcony. Each morning started with watching the sun rise over the lake with freshly made espresso. A very peaceful neighbourhood, especially at the end of season, which is exactly what we were looking for. A handful of very cool bars and restaurants in close proximity (a short and hilly 5-10-minute walk into Belgirate or 15-minute walk to Lesa, or Belgirate Train Station). Alberto was the perfect host. He greeted us with a smile upon our arrival and provided us with both practical information and local recommendations. The house was spotlessly clean and provided all the essentials, including a well equipped kitchen. We would highly recommend Casa Dolce Vita and I am already looking forward to coming back in the future. Grazie mille Alberto!

Niccolo and family was very helpful with the questions, requests, recommendations and transport. Apartment is very nice, shining clean, automated windows. Walking distance to several restaurants, SuperStore supermarket and Gallarate train station. Will stay again for return return trip back to Milan. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Casa Bosco for the third time. The bright cottage is located on a large, beautifully planted property in the forest. The terrace offers a breathtaking view over the lake. We arrived late and were received courteously. The fire burned in the fireplace. Everything we needed for the stay was there. We will be back!

We had a great time in Stressa. We stayed at Casa Lilla for a long weekend (4 days, 3 nights) with three adults and two children. We were positively surprised by the accomodation: the appartment is situated in a very nice and quiet neighborhood; the appartment was spacious and ultra clean; the appartment was equipped with everything necessary; the appartment was cozier and nicer than appears in the photos. In addition we appreciated the communication with Carlo, who gave us helpful advices about what to do and where to go in the area. He was well prepared and provided us with all the necessary information and even more. Also he was very flexible when our arrival was delayed because of our rental car. Absolutely a place to return to or recommend!
