The place is very nice, clean and well located with a nice view of the canal. There are many activities and restaurants nearby. Check in and check out worked great and Johnson was super friendly.

Top hosts. He gave us a lot of tips for the area and was very warm. The jacuzzi was of course the best! We'll be happy to come back. 😊

Excellent guesthouse if you are looking for a base for the many activities that are possible in the area. Good bed, warm and spacious shower, great cooking facilities (2 burners + oven), warm welcome, enough privacy, temperature of the space was fine. In short, recommended if you want to get away with the two of you in this region

Wijnand was a fabulous host who was very generous with us. The apartment is so cozy but very stylish and modern. Perfect location for a quieter stay along the canal. Absolutely stay at Wijnand’s if you want a slice of life experience here in beautiful Amsterdam! And then you can have a slice of Dutch apple pie and truly have it all.

Margot offers an atypical accommodation in a peaceful setting. In the middle of the greenery, it is easy to reach the train station serving Amsterdam and its region. Quality bedding in a quiet environment and away from traffic allows optimal recovery after beautiful days of sightseeing. Zaandam, a charming suburban town, offers the benefits of both the city and the countryside. Margot was kindly available and had good advice.

My partner and I spent Christmas in Haarlem and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hans was easy to communicate with in the lead up to check in and throughout our stay. The house is gezellig! Location was perfect and we loved using the bikes provided to ride into the old centre. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone interested.

We had the absolute best time staying at Nicolette’s beautiful home! She was so wonderful and made sure that we had everything we needed. The location is beautiful situated with the best river view and the town of Maarssen is just a few minutes down the road. We would highly recommend that anyone visiting this area should stay here! Beautiful house in an excellent location, close to shops, amenities and public transport. The house is much bigger than the photos suggest and was perfect for our month long stay. A fully enclosed garden is ideal for pets. The house itself was warm, cozy and inviting. Berrie is a great host, very helpful and responsive. Delightful Airbnb on a small peaceful farm just outside Amsterdam. The cozy accommodation was spotless and well designed, and our host Albert was very accommodating. Watching the free roaming chickens and happy cows from the bedroom window was a real treat! The public transport was excellent, making it easy to get into central Amsterdam surprisingly quickly. Albert kindly lent us some bicycles making it even easier to get around. This place is perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat while still being close to the city. Highly recommend!

I had a great week staying with Helena .. she’s a great host, and it is a great central location , five minute walk to the train and easy cab ride, but we walked around a lot, because it’s so centrally located . Many places to eat and drink nearby as well, as a grocery store .

Emilia is an excellent host, she wants you to have a great time and that is clear immediately. The location was perfect with a fun but still laid back vibe. Street vendors outside daily selling everything from paintings to fresh seafood. 1 block away from anything you could need, grocery stores, resturants, bars and coffee shops. The stairs are what you would expect, if you have researched where you are visiting. Spacious. clean and comfortable beds. I will return.

We had a great stay at Anna’s place. It was so nice to be away from the touristy areas and in a quiet, comfortable, well equipped apartment. With transit you can be in the city center quickly but it is also very walkable. Anna was always super responsive and provided lots of great recommendations for restaurants and places to go in the area. Highly recommend staying here!

The apartment is lovely, comfortable, stylish, and very central in Haarlem. We stayed for 1 week while working remotely, so it was great having a functional kitchen and laundry (including detergent, salt, oil, coffee, tea etc), as well as enough space in the living area to enjoy spending a reasonable amount of time in the apartment. Simon is very helpful and responsive, which was great! It’s also very easy to reach from the bus or train, and supermarkets, cafes, the park, and the markets are just a few minutes away. Everything was very easy. The only downsides were that the street can be quite noisy - luckily the bedroom is still very quiet - and the bedroom / bathroom are very small. This didn’t bother us but would be something to keep in mind. Nicer sheets for the bed would also be appreciated. Overall I loved staying here and would recommend it!

Daan and Iris were excellent hosts and very accommodating and flexible with our requests. They even left us a welcoming bottle of red wine, which was a very nice surprise. The apartment is very well designed and decorated…a little oasis. Loved the little various souvenirs they have on display from their travels, showing their appreciation of the different cultures of the world. Oh, and the king size bed was SO comfortable, it was hard to get out of bed in the mornings. Would definitely stay here again!

I had an amazing stay at this apartment! Everything was exactly as described, and even better in person. The place was spotless, modern, and had all the amenities I needed. The bed was super comfortable and one of the highlights was the bathroom, which featured a nice bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The location was fantastic, close to great restaurants, shops, and public transport was right in front of the door, making it easy to explore the area. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in/check-out smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! I’ll definitely be back!
