The apartment is spacious and located in a prime area, just across from the beach. Plenty of good restaurants, cafes, and pastry shops within walking distance. The host was very responsive and quick to address any questions. Only two sets of bath towels were provided for two guests staying eight nights. An additional set of towels would have been helpful.

WOW - What can you say about this beautiful home? Large home with all amenities available, well decorated and an outstanding host. I highly recommend this house to rent… it’s private, great backyard with many fruit trees, a back porch to set and relax with family and friends. This is house is on my top list of places to rent in the future. Thank you Sr. João.

The hosts were amazing! they made sure we will feel at home from the first day. took care of any issue that came by. they brought us fresh bread every morning. the surrounding is really magical. the only thing that was a bit sucks was the washing machine and the dryer. it was in a different structure with 1 min walk and when the weather is raining its not that easy. other than that everything was fine!

Beautiful large gardens, huge house ideal for large groups. Lovely kitchen and dining areas. Rooms are large and comfortable. The location is ideal for exploring the main Fig area. Unfortunately there were 2 things not disclosed in the listing: Host lives on the property with his family and dog. Although they were on one side of the house, it was unexpected.

Isilda has been a great host, attentive and kind. The house is as described. We were 8 but we were very comfortable and we didn't miss anything. Regarding the area we did not know it and we liked it, quiet but with several restaurants and beach bars in which we have eaten quite well.

Frederico’s place was amazingly cozy and nice to stay at, but have to warn everyone about the dry air of Viseu which, when paired with a cozy warm house, can be difficult to sleep in, but perfect in every other aspect

Such wonderful, friendly hosts! The apartment was really convenient to the university and everything else we wanted to walk to. Nuno met us at the bridge as we arrived and drove us back to our car when we left, brought us pastries, and was also kind and helpful in between. The apartment was comfortable, and with the electric heaters, we were able to stay warm in all the rooms. The views were amazing. I could not believe our luck at finding such a wonderful place for such a reasonable price. As some reviewers have said, it is an older apartment, but for us that was part of the charm. We had everything we needed and felt more a part of the city than we might have in a modern sterile place. Isabel and Nuno, thank you so much for everything!

I wanted to have peace and quiet, which is easy to get with this location. Despite its location, it is still close to the city with all amenities. Cottage is perfectly furnished with everything you need. Worth coming back

A wonderful place to relax and be at peace with nature. Great for winter or summer tourism. We had everything. We didn't lack anything. We had Internet and telephone signals, not that we need to use because the place is magical. The kitchen is very well-equipped, we find everything very clean and organized. We enjoyed our stay and we strolled and dined in the city in Penacova. We already recommend it to several friends and family. Mr. Bruno very friendly and helpful. You can be sure we will return. ♡

A few hours before arrival, we were told that the cottage we had booked was not available due to an electricity failure. Nothing but praise for their communication and they always looked for solutions. They suggested us another house in another area. In itself also a very nice house but it was however not quite our thing. After all, we were looking for nature and peace and quiet. We had reported this and then Viktor sought a solution to have the electricity fixed in the original cottage. And a few hours later we got word that we could move into the cottage. What a cosy cottage, in the middle of peace and quiet, in a small tiny hamlet. Just what we were looking for with our family. Close to the Arouca geopark and a very nice little restaurant Mira Freita where we regularly ate. In one word, perfect hosts and beautiful houses in their portfolio! Thank you very much for hosting us.

Lovely and peaceful cosy house surrounded by beautiful woodlands. The location is great if you want tranquility. The garden/pool are lovely and well equipped with little tables and chairs dotted around. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. A mini supermarket is 8mn away other wise Pombal is 25mn. Flávio is super helpful and friendly. He recommended a few places to go and eat. We loved our stay and would recommend it.

We stayed in this house for two days and were very comfortable. Very large house, spacious and comfortable rooms. Private and covered parking. The area is very quiet and in a good place to visit nearby towns. Joao is very friendly and responsive. We recommend the accommodation.

This place is peaceful and surrounded by nature with lots of trees and singing birds, includind the chickens that create an "quinta" atmosphere. The accommodations were clean and cozy, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and caring. I highly recommend this countryside gem for a relaxing escape.

The bungalow was brilliant. We made use of the pool and the villagers were very friendly, leaving us their sweetcorn to try. The little bar in the village was a bonus and the surroundings were perfect and quiet. Would love to come back one day.

Carola and her husbands place was amazing. It’s just beautiful, there are literal figs and avacado trees, gardens, a pool over looking the coast, just great! Sparkly clean. Large place too. Carola was excellent about communication, accommodating our late check in. One of the blinds was broken; once told it was fixed by the afternoon. A nice quiet location, safe, good to explore Porto and the north Portugal area. 5/5 will stay here again!
