Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Porters

Dominic’s house was perfect for our extended family of 11 who came in for a wedding and vacation. The location is excellent! It’s right next to the food trucks, grocery store and beach! We definitely did not need a car and took the ZR everywhere if needed. Each of the 3 families had enough room and privacy to be comfortable. The house comes with a lot of different keys making it a bit confusing and time consuming to lock up. Also, more towels, bath and beach would have been nice. Overall, it was a great experience and we would definitely stay again!

Very comfortable stay, outside space was a huge bonus, it was lovely eating breakfast out there every morning. Location was great, we walked to pebbles beach early one morning to see the race horses have their morning dip. Thank you!

The home was very neat and easily accessible. 5 minute walk to beach. Hugh was very attentive. Home located in a quiet neighbourhood. Monkeys seen on the road along with chickens. Wonderful stay. Thanks Hugh, we will come again

This is our 2nd stay and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. the location can't be beat with a quick walk to Dover beach and wonderful restaurants. Our favourite place was Kandy Bar with live music from the amazing singer Jagwar who encouraged visitors to sing along. My kids love the pool and the jacuzzi, swimming around in circles making whirlpools! We appreciated the recent updates to the pool deck and new deck chairs. The daily monkey visits are always entertaining, and my kids loved looking for lizards and baby frogs. The rooms are spacious and the best part is a shower for every room allowing a fast transition for the whole family from the pool. We ran into an issue with the safe locking our valuables inside when the battery died without warning, but the housekeeper was quick to hire a locksmith the same day to gain access for us. She was very accommodating and called around to multiple places to get help in on a Sunday. We look forward to returning in the future.

Staying with Peter was a truly special experience, that words cannot fully express! Peter is an exceptional host, he is extremely thoughtful, considerate, helpful and a great person to meet, offering good company, conversation and so much more. He also allows all the personal space and sense of freedom that guests need to feel comfortable, at ease and at home. There were so many lovely extra offerings, including preparing an outdoor movie night under the stars in comfort and style, along with homemade popcorn, as just one example. The beautiful outdoor shower and swimming pool were really lovely highlights for me, together with all the surrounding nature and peaceceful environment, it gave a true sense of being in paradise. The only thing to mention is that its best to have or rent a car, which Peter was also really helpful with arranging. Thank you Peter and all your beloved dogs! I'm really grateful to have found your place and have had such an amazing time there!

We had a great stay in Martin's home. The on line description is very accurate but what it doesn't say is all the seating in the property is very comfortable - something that doesn't always happen. Also the location is a short walk to the Limegrove centre for restuarants and shops and only a little further to the beach and the superb Massey's supermarket. This is really helpful if you don't want to rent a car (or have challenges in car rental by being over 70 years and needing a local medical certificate). The property is well equipped and spacious, the bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable and the air con in the three bedrooms all worked and was effective. Martin is an exceptionally helpfula and communicative host and we were most grateful for being able to enjoy our holiday in Holetown

We had such a fabulous time staying at Piea-Marries property. It's was extremely spacious with a balcony both sides! We enjoyed listening to the crickets🦗 when we returned in the evenings. We were able to walk to the beach, supermarket and other shops. There are a couple of rum shacks on the route which we occasionally stopped by on the way back, everyone has been so welcoming and we had fun joining in with the karaoke 🥳 We love sunny Barbados! This was a great spot that was affordable, and took in our last minute booking! Was a great landing spot to spend the nights while we were out doing activities in the day time!

The condo was very spacious and comfortable. It matched the description and pictures. The pool was really nice and clean. It was a great place to relax, nice and quiet. It had a friendly community as well.

Shirley was a very welcoming host. Attentive but not intrusive. Quaint traditional decor throughout. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood and within walking distance of the first good beach north of Bridgetown. Convenient for busses. You don't need taxis if you stay here.

Akhentoolove and Charmaine are the perfect hosts. They made us feel so comfortable from the start of our visit to the very end. The accommodation was exactly what we were looking for and the surroundings and community was clean and safe. locationwise, its a great jump off point for visiting the beaches, its not too far from town and mini town Warrens is nearby too :) We enjoyed their company and conversations and they were very approachable and helpful. The amenities such as the washing machine and parking was a plus too! The apartment was cool, cosy and homely and we will certainly have no hesitation in choosing Copiae apartments for our future trips. We highly recommend!

The apartment was ideally located for Speightstown and a few minutes from the beach and the local bus station, so it was easy to get around. It is situated in a relatively safe area of the town and the local people are friendly. The neighbours dogs bark a bit, but the plus side is that you feel fairly secure as a result. The WIFI is good and the air conditioning and fans mean that you can retreat into a cool environment if the heat becomes too much. It was a bit of a shock to see that there were no window panes, but the window treatment meant that the threat of mosquitoes was minimalised. Perhaps there could have been a few extra bath towels and sheets, but otherwise the apartment was well supplied with everything you need for your stay. Halim was very responsive indeed, replying almost immediately to any questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone considering an a stay in this area of Barbados.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sonia’s accommodation! The apartment was absolutely lovely-modern, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed to make it feel like a home away from home. It was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway with my friend. I’d definitely recommend having a car, as while the beach is only a 5-minute drive away, it’s about a 25-minute walk. The local shop was also a bit easier to access by car. That said, parking was super convenient, with a free space directly outside. One of the highlights of our stay was discovering an amazing gym just a 5-minute walk up the road, which we went to every day! It really added to our experience. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable place to stay in the area. Thanks, Sonia!

This was our second stay at Sun n Sea and we were very happy once again! The location is absolutely ideal and the value for dollar outstanding. Zelma or her son Paul are always available if anything is needed and the units are clean and well maintained. We look forward to our next visit.

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Ms Heather place. From start to finish, everything exceeded our expectations. Communicating with Ms Heather was smooth and prompt, making the booking process hassle-free. Upon arrival, which I was 5 hours early before my booking time, we were warmly greeted and given a thorough tour of the property. The space was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated, providing a warm, cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities provided were top-notch, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, a few minutes away fair deals, spicy jerk which you can eat on the spot, Oasis beach was very good, conveniences shops on the beach selling everything, we enjoyed exploring the area and found plenty of great dining options nearby. We stayed at Steven’s apartment for 10 days and had an amazing holiday (2 couples). The apartment was wonderful and just as described and there were lots of additional touches that were really thoughtful such as the Cool box and ice blocks and a couple of snorkels. The Sugar Hill complex was beautiful and peaceful. The pools were a lovely temperature (lit at night and open until 9pm) and grounds very well kept. We had a couple of lovely lunches at The Deck (Shrimp Pad Thai excellent!) and the rum punch during happy hour very good. We utilised the Fairmont beach club membership particularly to go and watch the sunsets but also travelled around the Island - which always felt friendly and safe. Kavell was super responsive when we had any questions. I had to do some work whilst out here so had to use the table on the balcony (only minor point was that there wasn’t an electric socket close by). It is an approx 20 min walk down the hill (via Store house Road) to the beach club.

This Air bnb was much more then we expected! The pictures don't do it justice. The view from the living room space is incredible and you walk out into the gorgeous beach. We watched the sea turtles roaming right in front of our place everyday and the neighbors were extremely nice. Paul is quick at responding messages and ensured we were OK. Everything is walking distance (groceries, bank, restaurants and night life). We could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you!!

The location was great, in walking distance to beaches and lots of bars and restaurants. The unit was very cozy and had everything you needed. The checkin was extremely easy with clear instructions. There was cleaning provided in the middle of our stay that was great. Checkout was even easier than checkin. Highly recommend this place.

Great apartment in fantastic location, right on beach and within walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets etc. Spacious, comfortable accommodation with balcony overlooking the pool and down to beach - very relaxing. Expect some noise from karaoke on first street on a Sunday night but only one night and could always join in! Would definitely book again.

We had a lovely stay at this condo, the condo was a perfect size for our family of 6 and right on Dover beach, walking distance to many restaurants and a fantastic beach to enjoy Barbados.

The unit was very modern and clean. The support staff was very helpful and available when needed. The cleaning staff was very efficient and did a great job. The 2nd floor unit was extremely quiet.
