Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Portage Lake

Farrah was very accommodating with our stay and was even able to let us check in early. She was very responsive with messages and questions. Our company stayed here for some work and were very pleased with all the cute decor, details and how clean the house was. Highly recommend staying here! Beautiful home and wonderful hostess :)

Our family rented the house for a family party. The place was clean , great kitchen had all we needed to make all of the meals we planed for 17 people, Donna delivered extra crockpot for us. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We will definitely recommend this house. Ty for making our family event a success.

This was our third time at the house and we were so glad to be back. The JetBlue flight arrives late and it was really nice to stay in a house we now know so well. We came this time to see the leaves and the view out the back across Lake Echo was spectacular. Thanks Tammy. Hope to be back up there next summer

The location was great, about a 1/4 mile from the local grocery store. Very clean and vintage, would definitely stay here again!

I had a wonderful stay. Great apartment for one person or a couple. It was well appointed and had everything you’ll need for your stay. Close to the lake and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again!

This island home was the perfect little vacation spot during a cold Maine December. Denise’s place was warm and inviting, and there were even fresh cookies made for us upon our arrival. The place was clean and well equipped with cooking staples (oil, salt, condiments, etc.), high quality cookware, extra shampoo and soaps, and even laundry detergent for use with the full size washer and dryer. I plan on returning during the summer months to explore even more of Aroostook!

Phil's place was cozy, clean, and well equipped with plenty of extra blankets and pillows for people like me who love to sit on the couch with a blanket and curl up in bed with extras. The jacuzzi bathtub was delightful and the kitchen was well stocked. Phil got a roaring fire going in the wood stove before we arrived and left a plate of Reese's. What more could a guest ask for??

We stayed here for balloon festival in Presque Isle. The location was perfect 10 minutes from the fairgrounds. The apartment is nicely located. Great communication from the hosts. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.

It was a great place to stay near the North Maine Woods. The remoteness was terrific, yet it was still as close to 'town' as you can get in that part of the world.

The cabin was perfect. Plenty of kitchen utensils to do what was needed and all was exceptionally clean. She was very responsive and accommodating when I reached out. 45 mins from caribou, presque isle, and big machias lake camps. Highly recommend and would love to return to stay again!

Always an amazing stay at Pond Brook cabins. Place was extremely clean and had everything we needed for an awesome stay. This is our 4th year coming back! Thank you Amy!

Two of us went up snowmobiling and had a great time. The place was clean and comfortable with a nice little kitchen that had everything we needed to make a few meals. They even had some cookies and a couple bags of chips waiting for us on the table. There was a small tv in the corner that had dish network too. The only things that werent perfect (but didnt bother us much) was that the well water had a sulfur smell to it but it was fine for showering and they provided a 5 gallon water dispenser, and you are not in the middle of nowhere like the pictures make it seem with another house about 15 ft away and train tracks about 100 ft way. overall we had an excellent first time Airbnb experience and would not hesitate to stay there again!

We loved it here! I wish we were staying for more than one night. Tricia was so accommodating and communicated regularly. The cabin was perfect and I love the private shower/bathroom assigned to our spot. There weren’t any events while we were here so it was very quiet and peaceful, which was perfect for us. I would love to come back here for a wedding, the event space looks so fun!

This house was just perfect for our visit to the County. So peaceful and beautiful. The enclosed porch has big windows overlooking the lake. That was my favorite spot. I could stare at the water all day, and listen to the loons. The kitchen is large, and had everything we needed. Dining area and living room were bright and uncluttered. Two bedrooms, one large, and one very large. The beds were really comfy, and all the furnitures was nice. Overall, our stay couldn’t have been better! And Alison sent us messages once or twice asking if we needed anything, and making sure we knew how to turn on the heat. So thoughtful! Overall, our stay couldn’t have been nicer. We hope to come back again.

We chose a November visit because it coincided with our anniversary. We wanted a "do nothing" trip so it as perfect for us. If you were to visit during the summer, there would be a ton of activities available to you. In November it's not snowy enough for snow mobile rental and not warm enough for the water activities that are in your back yard. (didn't matter to us but for anyone else looking to rent, just wanted to clarify that in November, the outside entertainment is limited) Instead we stayed in, made a romantic fire and relaxed in a clean and comfortable cabin with a great view. Perfection.

Truly a little house in a paradisiacal place. Everything was perfect, if I could I would never leave. And he left us breakfast among other things. Thank you very much, we will be back soon.
