Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Port Phillip City

I would highly recommend James to anyone looking to stay in Melbourne. We enjoyed our stay here. The house was exactly as described. James was very responsive, he provided clear instructions on how to get to the property and to enter the property. James had a number of recommendations for restaurants nearby and he answered any questions I had. The location is fantastic, only 15 minutes walk to St Kilda beach.

We stayed at Matt’s place for two nights. The place was stunning, exactly as pictured and very clean. Amazing kitchen, very well equipped. Walkable to local bars, pubs and cafes but tucked away nicely in the laneway so minimal disruptions from outside. Matt was very responsive to our queries and also gave us flexible check in / out times. Would stay again! Thank you for hosting us.

We had an amazing stay at Casa on Clyde. A great home, excellent size when travelling in a larger group (6 of us comfortably stayed there). The house was beautiful, great appliances, very clean and spacious. The location was perfect - walking distance to the tram, local cafes and restaurants, and convenient shops. Pete was very friendly and prompt with replies. Would happily stay there again!

An absolute gem, we had the most incredible stay in this incredibly gorgeous home. The pictures are great here but in person the place was phenomenal, I really felt at home here and very cozy. Its spotless clean, the bed is extremely comfortable, the kitchen is perfectly equipped, the terrace is stunning, and absolute 100/10 place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of chapel street and near many restaurants which was a plus. Extremely quiet neighborhood, can’t hear a single car which was so peaceful. There’s also a large, gorgeous park a 5 min walk away where many people bring their dogs to play and we went there almost every day. If you’re looking to stay in Melbourne I cannot recommend this stay enough!

Great place. Perfect location in South Melbourne with plenty of great pubs & cafe's within a short stroll. Albert Park Lake & South Melbourne Market also close-by. House has is spacious with plenty of character. Perfect for a weekend down in Melbourne

Great location and plenty of space for a group of 8. Walking distance to restaurants and coffee shops. Paige was very responsive. Recommend if wanting to stay in the St Kilda area

A lovely home on a peaceful side street. It is in a great neighborhood with shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and best of all the South Melbourne Market. It is very easy to get to the Melbourne CBD with all of its great restaurants and roof top bars. We went to the Australian open on 2 days of our stay. Getting to the park by tram was convenient. We loved the clever lay out of the space and found the bed very comfortable. There is a very usable galley style kitchen if you are inclined to shop at the fabulous South Melbourne Market and cook for yourself.

Loved this place - felt right at home straight away! Lou was so friendly and kind on arrival, and the place was gorgeous, spacious, comfortable and very neat and clean. Loved the decor and all the facilities. The location was also perfect and walking distance to all the iconic St Kilda spots. Was sad to leave, and will hopefully be back! 💙

Really enjoyed my stay. Stephen and Lesley were excellent hosts. Thank you! Apartment had all I needed. Very convenient to transport, grocery, restaurants, beach, park, St Kilda shops. Loved the tram right outside the hate for night time returns! East to get to/from city centre. Apartment felt very secure as a female travelling alone in neighborhood (locked gate with code to enter) despite a number of homeless persons on street very close by. St Kilda is an interesting neighborhood and the architecture from 1800s a charming nod to the history of the area....it felt like a cross between New Orleans & UK. Only point I would note, which may not be important to most people, there are no windows that can be opened in the apartment so it is air con or nothing. However, you can open the door during daytime as courtyard is secure and private. I would most definitely choose to stay again at Paris Garden on Fitz!

Beautiful, well-lit apartment in a good location. We loved the outdoor areas. Our only complaint was that there was no coffee or salt when we arrived. Tip for future guests: The coffee pods are only sold at Aldi (but there is one within walking distance.)

My wife, and I enjoyed the stay very much. The apartment is close to the Tram station, and serval things just in walking distance, Faulkner Park, couple great restaurants close by, and the botanical gardens. Clean, and had everything we needed coming from overseas.

Perfect city location, all while feeling at peace surrounded by trees. My partner and I felt really lucky to find this place. We only stayed two nights, but our get away left us feeling like it was a week long holiday. Pleasant views from the balcony, stunning interior design and comfy bed. Emily the host was extremely helpful and responsive, also while respecting our privacy. We highly recommend booking here, we’ll definitely be back! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment located in St Kilda! The location couldn't be better—just a short walk to St Kilda Beach, where we enjoyed beautiful sunsets and relaxing strolls along the shore. There are plenty of supermarkets and cafes nearby. Public transport is also conveniently accessible, allowing us to explore Melbourne with ease. Communicating with our hosts was also great. They were incredibly responsive and attentive, always available to answer our questions and ensure we had everything we needed. The apartment itself was incredibly convenient, featuring two bathrooms which made our stay with friends much more comfortable. The spacious layout allowed us to relax and unwind, and the views from the apartment were simply stunning. Overall, this apartment offers a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and excellent hospitality. Highly recommended!

had a great Christmas! thanks so much for having us. The house was massive, clean and fairly well equipped, could do with some more cooking trays and pots and pans but otherwise very good.

Wonderful place to stay and relax with family or friends. The pool is divine and the pool table, bar, tv area is amazing.

We had a great weekend away at Chelos place located in a nice historic part of Richmond within walking distance of everything. Accomodation was cosy and Hosts are fun to chat to and very helpful. Chelo is also a good source of knowledge for anybody interested in European fashion design !

Returning customer as Peter & Janet are such friendly, approachable, hosts. Lovely area, & their listing is very homely & relaxing. Highly recommend Long-term stay, that's what I plan to do. A great location for gathering with a larger group. Very comfortable and relaxed even in such a grand setting. The listing is accurate but the floor plan image is not up-to-date with the rooms available for use.

We absolutely loved staying at Mark’s fantastic house! It’s a beautiful property, and larger than it seems in the photos. It’s also very well equipped, and with the crazy Melbourne weather kept us warm with the heating and cool with the aircon. Our pup really enjoyed her time there, too! The pool is also fantastic, and the decked area great for chilling out. We would love to stay again in future!
