Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Poole Harbour

This house offers everything a family could wish for. It feels very homely from the moment you step through the door. We stayed over Christmas and Clare had the log burner set ready to light with basket of logs and clear instructions. The open plan kitchen diner opens to an immaculate garden and even had feeders for the birds. Most of all Clare dressed a Christmas tree and left suprises for the children. We were close to the harbour and park and within walking distance to the Lighthouse theatre where we saw Sleeping Beauty on Boxing day. A truly memorable Christmas. Thankyou Clare.

We had a lovely stay at Knap House. It was everything we needed. Large bedrooms, clean bathrooms. The unexpected extra bonus was having Xmas decorations and a delicious home made cake and milk when we arrived! Rachel had thought of everything and replied immediately when we asked a question about how to work the heating and other check out details. We would thoroughly recommend Knap House and would not hesitate to book again.

Aimee and Paul have a beautiful home that felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The space was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Their hospitality was exceptional—they provided great local recommendations, were responsive to any questions, and made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful environment while still being conveniently close to local attractions and amenities. We have just returned from Caroline’s beautiful cottage. It was everything we wished for and more. The cottage had everything we needed, the beds were extremely comfortable and the cottage was exceptionally clean. The surrounding area was very quaint and pretty and there was lots to explore in the area and a bit beyond. We spent NYE at Durdle Door, an hours drive away but well worth it. Would highly recommend Caroline’s cottage and our dog loved it too.

Had a fantastic stay at Anna’s house which is beautiful and a perfect spot for a family holiday. Our 2 year old boy was over the moon when he saw all the toy cars to play with and my 5 year old girl loved the house so much she wanted to stay forever. Great location close to Sobo beach and lots of great recommendations for local restaurants/ takeaways. The outdoor shower was perfect for filling up the paddling pool in the afternoon. Absolutely recommend staying here and we will definitely be booking to stay again next year!

Celia’s home was bright and comfortable with lots of lovely touches. Lots of toys and books to keep everyone entertained and a smart outside space for relaxing and running off any excess energy before bedtime! Would love to stay again, x

We booked the Wimborne Airbnb for a special birthday celebration with 10 guests. It is a lovely house with large kitchen dining area. We booked a private chef and had an amazing meal. The chef made the most of the very modern island kitchen and we were able to enjoy the experience sitting around the very large dining table. We made the most of the pol table, table tennis and hot tub. There are lovely walks and pubs all within a short drive from the house. It was the perfect party house.

Vicki was an awesome host. She was extremely helpful and accommodating. She left us a lovely basket of goodies which went down like a treat. The kids toy room was a huge bonus for us as we had little ones. They enjoyed it as well as the outside grass space. Spacious and exactly like advertised. Thanks Vicki (and Carolina). We had a lovely stay 😀

We stayed at Elizabeth’s for a few days when visiting family nearby. It was perfect for our purpose and we found Elizabeth very friendly and accommodating. Our granddaughter particularly enjoyed the trampoline!

Lovely stay . Lots of attention to detail throughout the property. Kitchen well stocked with utensils etc . Great location for town , walking and bus service . Can’t wait to return .

This is a fantastic little flat right in the heart of town—perfect for solo travellers or couples. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others. Jillian was an excellent host; when there was an issue with one of the kitchen appliances, she resolved it immediately. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is a great find, the location is perfect with Bournemouth beach or city centre easily walkable but also buses to other beaches that stop virtually outside. Surrounded by good restaurants.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at the beautiful apartment. Amazing sea views. Lovely walks on the doorstep. Would definitely recommend and return in the future.

Clare was flexible when arrangements for check out / in were discussed although in the end it wasnt required. Easy check in, easy to find, quiet but still close to everything. I was worried that there wouldn't be enough to do as it was between Xmas and New Year but we filled our days with lovely walks to town, crabbing, the archades, a walk down the pier. The blue Pool which is a great place to go with the children. Corfe Castle was fab as well. The flat was a great base for us, perfect for the children too with the bonus of parking. I can imagine there is so much more to do in the summer months so looking forwards to revisiting soon. We also went for drinks in the Grand Hotel situated almost opposite which has some stunning views. We had hoped to get some food delivered for my husbands birthday but we couldn't find anywhere that delivered so I ended up cooking which was made easy with everything I needed to utilise the kitchen including tea coffee sugar sauces as an added bonus.

We had the most wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Poole. The apartment was spotless and beautifully maintained, providing a very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere for both of us.

We really enjoyed our stay at Debbie’s place. The view of the seaside was lovely, and I would definitely recommend!

I keep coming back as it is a great place to stay.

The apartment is perfect, great space, light and airy. Lovely for a communal get together. Samantha was extremely helpful in planning our trip with great suggestions for local places to eat. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Fantastic location close to every thing. Great to have an uninterrupted view of the sea from lounge and bedroom too. The flat was lovely with a generous sized bedroom and new looking kitchen and bathroom. Kitchen looked to have everything you’d need although we ate out and just had breakfast. Parking was good thanks to the supplied permit (we parked around the back because of the high wind this weekend and car was perfectly safe from flying debris!). Detailed instructions how to find the flat and enter. If ever back in Weymouth would def stay again.
