This place really defied expectations. Really lovely spot, super clean, really friendly. If your thinking about this one… don’t think and just do! It was an amazing experience. 11/10!!!

Vicki's place is far from the madding crowd. A peaceful haven set in the Welsh hills with lovely walks and Monmouth and Hereford accessible by car. If its peace and tranquility you want, it's perfect. The house is very large and comfortable with a bright modern kitchen that offers lovely views. Vicki is very friendly and responsive in communications.

John and Liz were fantastic hosts. We booked the coach house for a pre-christmas family gathering and it surpassed expectations! It was exactly like the photos and the hosts had thought of everything to make the stay comfortable, it is one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed in and suited us perfectly. We really appreciated John taking the time to show us around, the farm is clearly well run and interesting to experience staying on site for a weekend. The calving just outside, friendly staff and relaxed cows we're all bonuses! Thanks for a great stay, we hope to be back next year!!!

Great place for 2 couples or a family. 1 pub within walking distance 1.5 miles. well equipped kitchen and lots of board games etc. Pizza oven is only really a summer option. Hot tub available and a good temperature.

The perfect getaway, couldn’t recommend enough! Joy was so easy to communicate with from start to finish. The property was so cosy and had everything you could possibly need, even breakfast which was a lovely touch. Anyone looking for a short getaway, do not hesitate to book this lovely little place! :)

Emily’s place was an ideal getaway, secluded, clean, peaceful the perfect place to unwind for a few days, the hot tub made it extra special, all communication with Emily was excellent, would definitely recommend, will definitely be returning, thank you Emily.

**Wonderful Stay at Gludy House!** Gludy House was the perfect escape! Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, the peaceful setting provided a much-needed break from city life. The house is spacious, beautifully maintained, and offers complete privacy. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the serene views. The host was attentive and made our stay incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind in nature with plenty of space and luxury!

Frankie was exceptionally helpful and communicative throughout the booking process, the weeks leading up to our stay and during it. She went above and beyond to make our stay as good as possible. Even decorating a couple of Christmas trees to make it look festive and welcoming. There was lots of space for all of us and it was comfortable and warm. The location is within easy reach of Gower and the Brecon Beacons. All in all I’d recommend this house as a great space for a family or friends get together.

Everything went perfect during my stay. The whole place is in excellent conditions and well kept, besides having all the facilities to give the guest perfect autonomy during the stay. Mike's been an excellent host as well, always looking to have all the details explained and willing to help. If you're planning on staying in the Bridgend area, look no further.

I stayed in the Summerhouse for 2 nights and absolutely loved it! Set in a beautiful garden with fields around, it's so cosy and well-designed with everything you need including a full size fridge with freezer box, crockery, cutlery, glasses, mugs, tea and coffee, fresh milk, orange juice and butter for the delicious home made bread delivered to me on my 1st morning. The bed was comfortable and I slept really well. It's only a few steps to the house to use the toilet and bathroom and the path is extremely well lit if it's dark. Jacqui and David were perfect hosts, super friendly and they offered lots of useful advice, but not intrusive and Barney the gorgeous cocker spaniel is a delight. I would definitely recommend staying here. It's a perfect location for visiting Hereford, the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean and is one of the best value and most friendly Airbnb's that I've stayed in 😊

Wonderful long weekend at Flagstone Cottage, the most peaceful place we’ve ever been, no car noises whatsoever and beautiful scenery. Cottage was exactly as described. We asked for the BBQ to come back out and Clare actually brought out all the outside furniture for us to use which was a nice surprise when we got back from our day trip. Our 5yo daughter loved the mezzanine bedroom and being able to have multiple baths a day (we only have a shower at home). The walk from Llanthony Priory up Hatterhall hill is amazing and the pint in the priory grounds at the end was very scenic and rewarding! Hay-On-Wye is well worth a visit, Abergavenny also.

Beautiful place to stay, the host has good taste and attention to detail in terms of home decor, very cosy livingroom, great view from the garden and incredibly comfortable bed! The location was also beautiful, great place for walks and spending time outdoor. The only minus was that smoke alarm battery needed replacing, so it beeped quite often. Other than that everything was perfect :)

Really lovely few days spent here - I got all the weathers, but it didn't spoil it one bit! Totally secluded, which is what I was after, but still with a proper bathroom and kitchen to hand, to could just completely relax and stay in. Cosy evenings with log burner roaring - very efficient and warmed up the hut quickly! Birds and squirrels visited the feeding station each morning, so felt very Snow White, and could hear owl at nighttime. As in other review: There are no plug sockets - None. So come fully charged and with charged up power packs, in case of emergency if you venture out (though, I recharged at pubs/cafes when I was out!) Beautiful views, quiet, secluded spot - You will completely relax here!

Stephen was in touch as soon as I booked to confirm a few details and came across as very friendly, helpful and accomodating. He arranged to meet us to check in and show us to our parking space and around the apartment. He gave us clear directions on how to get to Mermaid Quay and into town for the concert the next day. He made us feel very welcome and at home. His apartment is the perfect location to explore Cardiff and to attend Concerts at The Principality Stadium. I would definitely recommend. We stayed at Emma's house for a family weekend, it was perfect. The kids loved the pool, the tennis court was really fun, the house was spacious and beautiful. Emma was really helpful. the beds were comfy, the kitchen was fabulous. Thanks so much for a perfect weekend.

Sophie was a great host and the cottage was lovely, in a beautiful and quiet place but easy to walk or drive to local amenities or attractions. we can recommend walking along the Strawberry line to either Winscome ( good pub, shops and takeaways ) or to Sandford to visit Thatchers Cider. Fantastic house, lots to do either with a group or if you wanted time to yourself. The pool was amazing along with the hot tub and the games room was entertaining. The kitchen is a great hosting space also.

Fantastic property to stay in, very clean with excellent facilities especially for our little ones with lots of toys and a child friendly garden. The house is full of character and charm with its quirks as expected of a period property. Jeff was a good host with clear directions and instructions for our stay. Jeff was quick to respond to any queries I emailed prior to arriving. I would definitely recommend.

Our second break at the cottage, this time staying for 2 nights over Xmas Eve and Xmas day. We have never been away over the Xmas period before but couldn’t have asked for anything more from our stay. We arrived to home made mince pies and a fully decorated house and tree. We were made to feel at home over Christmas with all the small touches that Clare went to the effort to make. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare and cook our Xmas dinner and we enjoyed a chilled bottle of Prosecco on our arrival. The log fire in the lounge made our evenings feel extra festive and was well stocked with kindling and logs. I just wish we had booked a longer stay as nobody wanted to come home.
