Village Homestay Panchase - Pokhara - Room 2

ZoeRating, 5 stars38 months ago
As others have said, don’t expect modern conveniences, for me though that’s what I loved best. It all depends what you are used to - I have traveled a lot in India and have spent lots of time in a rural setting so for me it was great. If you’re traveling alone, like me, be sure to bring a good book or something to pass the time. And, definitely learn as much Nepali as you can before you go, it will make the experience even better!

The Ram Room: Beautiful Lakeview Private Room

EliahRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Words cannot describe how blessed I was to follow my intuition and come to stay at the Nar-Bis Hotel. First the hotel is gorgeous. Every detail is throught through and highest quality, from the beddings to the plumbing, the rooms are high end. Made with traditional materials, just like the whole building, in beautiful red brick. All this for an extremely affordable price. Second, the view is insanely beautiful. Overlooking the Fewa Lake, and surrounding hills. A few minutes away from the hustling and noisy Pokhara, but super close still, you can rest and enjoy the best of Nar-Bis: M. Santosh’s family. Him, Mrs Chandra, and Miss Nita just go above and beyond in every way, and you instantly feel at home. The food is delicious, and enjoyed with a vista you won’t find anywhere else. Now, the miracle: M. Santosh is an incredible biker (with his Himalayan Enfield), guide, and human being. Going with him to Mustang was just one of the highlights of my life, that I intend to repeat.
A panoramic view reveals the majestic Annapurna Range, showcasing snow-capped peaks under a clear blue sky. Lush greenery in the foreground contrasts with the mountain's rugged outline, creating a serene natural landscape.

A panoramic view of the landscape showcases Fewa Lake glimmering in the sunlight, surrounded by lush green hills. The foreground presents an unfinished building structure, with stones and construction materials visible on the ground, while colorful laundry hangs on a clothesline in the distance.

Himalayan Yoga Retreat Farm

KrishnaRating, 5 stars97 months ago
If you are into hammocks, yoga, meditation, sound healing, being away from the city bustle, vegetarian food, farming, having kitchen access, and gracious hosts then you have found your Pokhara destination. Access to a yoga studio and kitchen is a huge plus. Rooms are basic but spacious and romantically rustic. They have yoga classes and retreats available, though we were free to practice our own. Great value altogether for what you have access to. Also on the way up to Sarangkot if you're feeling in the mood for a good 2-3 hour hike. A little hard to find at night but they are excellent with communication.

Experience Nepali Culture in the Village Homestay

MelanieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a wonderfully enriching and heart-warming experience ♥️ Thank you Kabi and Family for showing me the authentic rural life, feeding me with the most delicious dal bhat I had on my Nepal trip and most importantly for making me feel at home from the moment I walked up the stairs to your house. I’d recommend this place to anyone, who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle, experience authentic Nepali rural life & culture, find quiet and stillness, go for peaceful walks and trekks and get in contact with the local people 🪷

Tranquility on the outskirts ;Yoga Retreat Pokhara

Green Hills gave us a very peaceful experience in the hills of Pokhara. Ishwor, Govina, and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make sure we got the most out of our experience in Pokhara. Govina also guided us on a 2 day Panchase Trek which was beautiful and a great recommendation. The view from our room was great and we enjoyed walking into town every day. The food was very fresh and healthy. We were treated like family. Big thank you !

Mahadevi - Twin room w/ Ensuite

VadimRating, 5 stars101 months ago
One of the most beautiful and quiet places I've stayed in Nepal. Hosts are very helpful and can provide anything needed including delicious food. Hot shower is a little difficult but also can be arranged, which is a small trade considering the rest that this place provides.
