Vacation rentals in Point Elizabeth

Amazing views over the golden bay in their outside bath. Furthermore the communication was good. Challenging route to get to the accommodation, but was all worth it!

We booked the Ugly Duckling late in our planning, to fill in a gap when our accommodation choices in other towns weren’t available, and to break up the journey between Christchurch and Nelson. Turned out to be a real highlight of our trip, and would love to visit again. As other reviews said - comfy, homey, well equipped, and spacious enough when the rain kept us inside. Kids were entertained by the toys, games, and garden.

Wonderful beach and sea view. Non stop breakers to watch and listen to. Very private. Small and compact. Everything perfect for 1 or 2 guests. Great provisions with yummy jam, bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee. Full opening ranchslider was the winner. Full uncluttered view. Only tiny drawback is the miners hut below and in front of the crib which spoils the sanctity of the place a little. But superb if you enjoy the power of the wind and sea at Cape Foulwind. 9 out of 10.

Really enjoyed our stay in Angie’s house. Views over the sea are amazing. The location is great, where you feel tucked amongst the Bush listening to the birdsong. Lovely sitting on the decking with a glass of wine relaxing after a day out exploring the area. A special peaceful location.

this round dome tent, called cathedral, clamping, is simply a highlight. we enjoyed living so exceptional, the sunset was gigantically warm thanks, only the WIFI was a bit weak but otherwise ten stars

Carol's place has almost everything we needed. WiFi, TV, complete kitchen utensils for cooking, fridge and chiller for food storage, nice comfy big beds for each rooms, complete bathroom sets, liquid or solid bath soaps, shampoo and conditioners. Clothes iron, vacuum cleaner. parking space. Suggested Hokitika activities and restaurants. Name it! It's all in the house except the laundry. I reckoned Carol and her behalf are well experienced AirBnB hosts and it's really worth the money renting their house. Personally, what I like is their flexibility with our check out as we needed to go to Sunday church. Thanks Carol and your behalf for a very satisfying stay at your place.

Great location close to beach but far enough away from the centre to embrace the serenity! Josh was a great host who supplied some great local knowledge tips!

This has been my fifteenth BnB since coming to NZ about three months ago and one of my very favorites so far. Was it George's hospitality? Was it the very modern kitchen? Was it the very comfortable bed? Was it the pristine bathroom? Or the large, comfortable living room? Or the great laundry features? Yes! All those things and more! But when you step into the living room and see the view of the Okari river mouth steps from the front deck, along with the Tasman sea beyond, you know why you came here! Are there stores, shops, or cafes in Cape Foul Wind. No, but Westport is about a 15 minute drive north if that's your desire. So bring all your supplies for your stay. There's plenty to do. Stroll kilometers of pristine beaches or the river at low tide. Tauranga Bay beach is just up the road if you fancy surfing or just watching the rollers pounding the amazing rock formations. Or take a stroll to the lighthouse and the seal colony. I wish I had stayed longer! Highly recommend!
