Family-friendly vacation rentals in Plemmirio

Our holiday with three families was fantastic. We especially enjoyed the outdoor space of villa Sofia: beautiful swimmingpool (though cold water end of October), a huge outdoor kitchen with possibility to cook on a gas stove or a lava stone, romantic setting of the outdoor table around the old olive tree. The extra entertainment tent is great for spending evenings together, having table tennis contests, as wel as playing pool or darts or table football. We also used the karaoke, it was a lot of fun. The (teenage) children could stay in the chalets with basic furnishings and the adults had three bedrooms in the ground floor apartment (sharing one bathroom). The parents of Benedetta stay on the property, but are very discrete. There are 2 small friendly dogs and some cats on the property. Benedetta received us on arrival and was extremely friendly. This is agriturismo at its best!

Large and comfortable place, very clean. Very convenient to all neighboring beaches. Close to downtown and parking under the house is always available. I highly recommend it to all guests.

Francesco’s place is brilliant! We stayed for a few nights and absolutely loved it. A great base for trips all around the east side of the island. There’s lots of space and the two balconies are a particular highlight. Highly recommended.

What a lovely house this is! With a beautiful garden all around and seating areas everywhere for sun or shade. The swimming pool and jacucci are perfect for cooling off or enjoying the evening. And you can walk straight to the beach or to the nearby pleasant town of Marzamemi. We immediately felt at home after we were welcomed by Rosanna. Fortunately, it was not a problem that we arrived very late. We had contact a few times during the week and minor problems were resolved immediately. All this ensured that we had a fantastic week in Sicily! ps : because we visited some nearby towns by car ( e.g. Noto, Syracusa, Modica, Marina Di Ragusa, Brucoli, Pozzallo) I had the opportunity to see a few other vacation rentals I found on Airbnb in advance. So happy I chose the perfect place!

A beautiful villa in a great location and Francesco was really helpful and accommodating. Just be wary of the stairs if you have young children!

The apartment was almost as described in the listing with few minor discrepancies, but over all great stay, feels safe and the view from the terrace is nice while chilling in the hot tub. The information about complimentary breakfast and snacks is a bit misleading but we gave it benefit of the doubt and figured it out with the responsive administration afterwards.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sebastianos house. The surrounding is very quiet and relaxing. The pool well maintained and refreshing. Everything is available (oil, salt, pepper, coffee etc), if you want to use the kitchen. There is also a nice outdoor kitchen and a BBQ, if you’re eager to cook on your own. Syrakus is only 15 mins away with the car and nice sand beaches could be found in Avola. You‘ll definitely need a car, as the house is out of reach of any public transport. Sebastiano was very kind and responsive. We would book it again! :-)

Everything was absolutely amazing! Would recommend this home to anyone thinking of coming to Siracusa and would definitely like to book this accommodation again next time! Perfect!

This is a fantastic location to see all that southern Sicily has to offer. We loved the house along with it's beautiful surroundings. Our host was on site and extremely responsive to our needs. Very helpful with local recommendations and we loved the fresh fruit and vegetables offered to us as guests grown right on the premises; a very nice benefit to staying with Gioacchino! We will visit again:)

This is a convenient flat with loads of great restaurants etc nearby. We recommend a great local bar/restaurant Il Quarto steak house. Proper local bar, full all the time when most other restaurants empty, wide selection of great food, proper bar staff, etc. Parking was Ok. Easy walk to the archeological park which was fantastic. Only issue we faced was that the spiral staircase to the bedroom is hard to negotiate with a large suitcase and you have to do a steep up and down staircase to access the front door - it was not too much of a problem for us as we are fit but it might be hard for some people

A good place for 3 people to sleep. Centrally located and quiet. We felt right at home

We very much enjoyed staying at this colorful place. Very interesting layout of the flat and just next to the beach which was a lovely experience to wake up to. Giuliana is very flexible and we highly recommend to stay at her place.

We had a lovely stay and absolutely loved the location. We unexpectedly left early due to weather, and Alberto was extremely helpful and accommodating. We can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay! The location was ideal: within walking distance of the charming center of Noto. The roof terrace was a nice place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The communication and instructions (also for parking) were clear and smooth. We also appreciated the bottle of water that was in the fridge for us on arrival – a small but very welcome attention. Definitely recommended!

If you're visiting Syracuse, this is a great choice. Easy access to the central train and bus stations. Outstanding, communicative and personable host with a great attitude. Helpfully explained everything in the apartment and gave us ideas about exploring the neighborhood. Very near Ortigia, which makes it easy to wander around and discover all sorts of hidden gems. If we ever return to Syracuse, this would be my first choice!

The apartment is located in the heart of the old city, a short distance from the main cathedral square, in a great location. The room was comfortable and clean, very artistic and tasteful. The landlord is also very welcoming and responds promptly with all kinds of help and useful information. Hope to stay here again if we could back to Syracuse .

great location, close to the touristy bits but far enough out that it was quiet. lots of good local restaurants that were 1/4 of the prices on ortigia. it was very helpful that there was a good supply of basics in the apartment too like soaps/laundry detergent etc. pool was a bit cold but had a swim anyway

What an amazing week we have had staying with our friends in this beautiful place. Corrado and Spielo the dog could not have welcomed us more. Corrado gave us plenty of great recommendations and answered any question we had very quickly. The setting and gardens are incredible and we were very grateful of being able to use the lemons growing in the garden. It was so peaceful and the sunrises are definitely worth getting up early for. The pool was amazing and it was netted daily through the stay which was a nice touch. Corrado left us a lovely welcome package of local bits and dropped in some delicious local canoli during the week. We were all very sad to leave!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Jochen & Katia's place. The location is excellent, with several beautiful beaches & a supermarket all within a 15-minute drive. The nearby town of Pachino offers fantastic fish markets, cafes, and bakeries, & a 30-minute drive to Noto made for a wonderful day trip, even on a rainy day. The property is well-maintained, & the pool is a great feature. However, there were a couple of small issues that could improve the experience. The security lights in the rooms were quite sensitive, & any movement at night caused red and green flashing lights to disturb the darkness. It would be helpful if these could be covered or adjusted. Additionally, while the kitchen was generally well-equipped, a sharp knife would have been a useful addition. Lastly, our host Carla was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring we had everything we needed. Overall, we had a comfortable and convenient stay, but with these minor tweaks, it could be even better.

amazing, we would come back

We had a great week at this lovely place near Noto. The apartment is as on the pictures: spacious, cozy and with a great terrace to eat and relax. We particularly liked the quiet, idyllic and eponymous garden full of citrus trees as well as the optimal parking situation directly on site. The location is ideal only 10 minutes by car to the center of Noto, close to Syracuse, beautiful beaches and good restaurants. Only small criticism: Despite warm days, the pool was unfortunately closed and the loungers can only be used later and previous visitors scratched the Teflon pans, so we were reluctant to use them. But there was also a solution for that - the team is highly professional. Overall clear recommendation!

Fantastic getaway in Solarino. Well placed for day trips to anywhere in Sicily. Great host. Beautiful pool. Comfortable bed. Plenty of amenities. Couldn’t ask for more.

The villa is very comfortable. The pool was great for the children and family fun after a day of sightseeing. The house has everything we needed very well appointed. Local shops within a short drive. The beach is stunning. The outdoor space is calming and it is so wonderful to be surrounded by olive trees and well kept gardens with beautiful lighting at night that adds to the ambiance and encourages you to relax. Very good stay spent with the family at Corrado's whose welcome and good advice was much appreciated! The accommodation is very functional and includes a beautiful swimming pool as well as a beautiful garden which makes it very pleasant after visits... It is also very well located, close to the main points of interest in the south east of Sicily . Recommended address without hesitation!
