House vacation rentals in Playa Pavones

Fantastic place with a magic view and amazing pool. Everything was perfect there, we loved it with our 3 little boys. The access is super challenging so anticipate it with a good car but the reward is spectacular…

We stayed at this casa for 10 days , Sara and her team , Michael and Nelson , are exceptional humans , So kind and helpful, Sara would check in everyday , I can tell you you will not be disappointed in anything the local people are also extremely helpful , Nelson was our fish and our tour guy , He brought us yellow fin tuna 5 dollars a pound , We ate 4 lbs . Jose brought us prawns twice , we ate fish every night ! The beach is black sand and private steps from your crystal clear pool , sun sets were spectacular! Love the people love the house . We would love to come back next year .Thank you ♥️

We enjoyed Rodolfo and Inka very much. In the heat, the communal pool was an absolute highlight. Rudolfo always answered all our questions and was a very courteous host. If you are looking for absolute peace, however, you may be bothered by the quite noisy neighborhood. But it was absolutely okay for us and we would come back any time.

Our stay at Rey and Stephanie’s (hosted by Naomi) was fantastic. We so enjoyed all the incredible wildlife visiting the property each morning- Iguanas, Tucans, squirrel monkeys etc. The house is very comfortable for a group of 6 with all the amenities in the kitchen and house that you could need. The pool is perfect and the outdoor shower is a beautiful touch. Naomi took us on an awesome tubing tour down rio claro and also provides many options for activities in Pavones, which is handy. Rey was an incredibly helpful host and really took care of us and made us feel at home on his property. Thanks for everything and we hope to be back soon!

What a beautiful and peaceful place to stay - we had 3 nights here on our Costa Rica month long road trip and the house and gardens were beautiful- very clean and peaceful- loved sitting out on the shaded terrace

We (me, my husband and two sones - 7 and 9 years old) stayed at Sandy’s beautiful house for 7 nights and loved it. The house is rustic and open air and you really feel the jungle all around you - from the crashing of the waves on the beach that is steps away, to the morning choir of parrots and monkeys in the garden. Cooking in the kitchen with nature all around was really special and just want we needed to disconnect from our otherwise busy lives. The housekeeper came every most days, and the house caretaker was amazing - checking in with us each day to make sure that everything was ok, and helping us organize great day trips from Corcovado National Park, to zip lining and waterfall hikes. There are a few places near by to get lunch/ dinner (Encanta La Vida, Martines, Lapa Rios) if you don’t want to cook all the time, and they also organized for someone to come and cook for us at home one night. The beach is really beautiful - nothing beats having it on your doorstep.

My family enjoyed a peaceful stay at this clean, comfortable home in Pavones. It had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant, relaxing and fun. I especially enjoyed having my coffee while watching the birds in the jungle. We took advantage of all of the home's amenities for a luxurious stay in this remote town. Our caretakers were super responsive and friendly, making the whole experience 5-star, from start to finish.

Elise’s home was lovely and new! You can tell she cares a lot about her home and her guests in both her kind responses and by the little things - filtered water, plenty of hooks to hang items, fully stocked kitchen , even spices! She and her property manager Meredith were so helpful and generous, they responded timely whenever we had any questions. It’s close to the beach and I will definitely try to stay here every time we visit Pavones!

Stunning spot with amazing amenities. I definitely recommend staying here and making the most of Puerto Jiménez.

The place was great. Everything we needed in the middle of nature. The Casita was so comfortable with 2 bedrooms and a great shower. The pool was really clean and perfect for the kids. From the Casita we saw Macaws, Tucans and Howlers amd we loved the fruit from the garden. A 10 minuten walk to the beach or a couple of minutes driving. The road is a bit steep and bumpy so a high clearance road might be handy. We had a 4x4 but we did not use the 4wd (road was dry) We met Mark and Shayna who were really nice and available when needed. Unfortunately we could only stay for 2 nights after moving from another place we were not really happy with. We have made a round trip in Costa Rica and stayed 2 or 3 nights everywhere. This was definitely a place we could have stayed much longer!

The house is as shown in the photographs, well equipped, with good Wi-Fi, safe and with spacious spaces both in the gardens and for parking. The ranches are ideal for outdoor dining, and the pool, clean and accessible. The host and don Marvin's attention was excellent, always attentive and friendly, which made the stay even better. A highly recommended place to go to relax and enjoy yourself.

Amazing place! Second time around, will definitely come back

Casa Alegre is simply amazing and the perfect spot for a family. This was my family’s second time staying here and it was just as perfect as I remembered. It’s private and surrounded by the most beautiful jungle. It has all of the main amenities that one would need for a family with young kids. The beach is nice and close, but at the same time the house is just far enough away from some of the noise and crowds of town. Karla and Meredith are extremely helpful and responsive. I cannot recommend this place enough.

This is a lovely, unique home with lots of wildlife around and a nearby beach. The chef, Chon, was amazing! We wanted to take him on the rest of our trip. And, Pascal was super helpful with planning trips. The only really issue we had is that the place isn’t as private as a normal AirBnd. Obviously it’s all open, but we expected that. However, we did not realize the person living on the property (who was lovely as a person) would be walking by so much throughout the day and night. I’m sure he was patrolling the area, but it was unsettling when not expecting someone else “inside” the home. My mom had fallen asleep on the couch one afternoon and was woken up by him in the kitchen. Again - he is a kind person and it isn’t personal. We also wished we had the option sometime to turn down cleaning services just so we could have a bit more privacy - although the cleaners did great. It’s just not quite the privacy we look for in an AirBnb.

Casa verde is an incredible place to spend a beautiful time, Karla was always very attentive and kind to collaborate with everything. The beds are really comfortable, the house is impeccable, very clean. Stay in front of the best sunsets! A lot of privacy ideal for sharing in a bubble. Lots of cool breeze, large dining room, hammock, and rocking chairs. Supermarkets nearby.

The perfect place to stay in Puerto Jimenez. Walkable to restaurants, supermarket, and the beach. Inside was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen and AC in both bedrooms. Host was responsive and friendly. Hope we can come back and stay here again!

Dianna place was super easy to get to from the airport. Just minutes away by walking, very nice apartment super clean!

If you want to be immersed in nature, in a beautiful setting, enjoying the sound of the ocean and watching the monkeys then this is the place for you. The architecture of the home is stunning. The home is all open, no screens or doors. The netting over the beds were greatly appreciated. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of. Joel, the property manager was excellent. Communication with Joel was very good, he was friendly and was able to make recommendations for us. Joel took us to the waterfall that was a 20 minute walk from the property. We were there during the rainy season, which we were prepared for; we brought games, books and flashlights. We will definitely return!

The house is very safe, has everything you need, very clean. Close to downtown. In a very peaceful area. Elena the host, very friendly and attentive for any questions.

What a dream! Beautiful space, beautiful hosts/family, beautiful location, beautiful community. We fell in love with Zancudo, & our hosts couldn't have been more gracious, welcoming & helpful. Their cabina had everything we needed & I was able to work without a hitch throughout our stay. The beach is quiet & makes you feel like you're the only one for miles around! The community in Zancudo is warm & welcoming & there is plenty to do (or not - the hammocks rock!) - Murielle & Esteban are well connected in the area & can give you so many recommendations. Murielle is also the amazing French Pastry Chef of Chocotico - be prepared for the most amazing croissants of your life! By far the best place we stayed (and THE MOST COMFORTABLE BED) during our month long travels through Costa Rica & Panama. Would recommend to anyone looking for a slice of paradise with the most amazing people <3 We will definitely be coming back again & again! Thank you Murielle and Esteban!!

This is a little slice of paradise where the Jungle meets the Sea. Very peaceful place to get away.
