Private suite vacation rentals in Playa del Carmen

The private garden is wonderful. Everything works, especially airconditioning. You will need that in the humid summer. It spartan, which was one reason we liked it so much. It is only about two blocks from the center of Puerto Morelos, with the supermarket, restaurants, and eveverything else. When you are at Miranda's airbnb, you feel a hundred miles from everything. Access to the beach is through the center of town, meaning very close. We came to Puerto Morelos before and fell in love with the place. Now we know where we will stay when we come back. Which we will do.

The whole stay was great! The pool is very large, the bed is queen, you will have microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker and a container that you have to refill with garrafon, which is convenient. You will have to wash the dishes in a card that is common area of the grill and the pool so there is no kitchen. Alex helped us with suggestions of food and places to visit, el es diver and Cozumel is for diving and snorkelear so he is the one for the tours. The place is located 15 min from the center (ferry) by mototaxi, it costs $35-$40, if you go as a family a normal taxi is good they charge between $60-$70. Las mototaxis you can take it from the church of San Miguel (ask for it) so you can get cheap transportation. Cozumel is quiet but if it is a bit scary at night because there are no people outside and the blocks are long so walking from downtown to the airbnb is far away (own experience haha). Overall everything was great! Thank you so much for hosting us!

Mike and Kathy are amazing hosts. From the moment we walked into their home we were greeted and welcomed with open arms. We had amazing tips about the island and was introduced to the wonderful people of Cozumel. This was our first time to ever do an Airbnb stay and I sure hope that we are as fortunate next time as we were this one. We also took part in snorkel trips with Chala-Michael which our host own as well. The boat is pristine and the crew is amazingly helpful with tons of smiles. By the time we left we were no longer visitors on Cozumel. We were accepted as family and close friends. Do yourself a favor and forget the resorts, immerse yourself in true Cozumel with local people and you’ll laugh till you cry. Arnold and Irene.

love the location and the helpfulness of the hosts the most. walkable to everything you need to be comfortable and have a good time while here. awesome taco stands and other eaterys within a 5 min walk or less. less than 10 minutes from the beaches and the hosts are awesome. they offer recommendations for the surrounding areas and if you need anything or have any questions about anything they will respond and fulfill your requests in a timely manner. definitely would stay here again in the future ❤️

Marco is so kind and really cares about the wellness of his guests, he was so kind to recommend beautiful places/restaurants to me and even drove me to a delicious local italian restaurant to pick up food before checking in to my place, the studio was clean, spacious, and the terrace and pool are beautiful and my cat loved being able to roam in the garden. The only reason I didnt extend my stay was because someone else has already booked the day after my check out, but i am going to book again asap as I will be staying in PDC for a few months :) Close to everything location wise and the beach is only a walk away!

The place is located in a beautiful, safe and comfortable complex complex. We bike around for dinner and get to know the place. Very clean, comfortable and safe

I loved the place, everything was very clean and tidy, the location is super good, close to the fifth and downtown beach. The stay was great.

I stayed with Madame Marta from January 17-23, 2025 and really enjoyed this little loft. Very accessible, close to everything. The sea is a 12-minute bike ride and about a 40-minute walk. Collectivo à 10 pesos if you prefer to take public transport. I would like to clarify that you can rent a car but if you stay in the colony, you will miss the warmth of the people and their good heart. Working remotely, I would definitely recommend it, the internet is great. Very clean, quiet. I'll be back with great pleasure. If you love to discover and you are open in your heart, go there with your eyes closed! Thank you Marta for giving me the opportunity to discover this beautiful part of Mexico. I heartily hope this remains this way:)

Lori’s place was clean and comfortable and easy to access! It’s a great place to stay if you want to get away from the busy downtown area which was preferred by my wife and I. It’s a great place in a local neighborhood with excellent food all around.

I had a wonderful stay at the Gecko house. It was easy to find and the paintings on the house were amazing! <3 Alondra was very kind and responded quickly. The location is superb, it was a block from the pedestrian area with restaurants and shops. I really like the outlay of the studio and I felt at home.

This place is incredible. Literally a 2min walk from the beach, it’s also close to places to eat and enjoy the town. The thought that’s gone into it is clear - beach chairs, towels and umbrellas to enjoy the beach, clothes drying rack and pins, hose to wash the sand off your feet before entrance…small details that make a huge difference and makes it feel like home. The hosts are friendly and super accommodating to your needs. There is construction noise but feels like it’s everywhere in the town and probably can’t be avoided in the day. Overall, 10/10 and would be our number 1 choice to come back and stay in Puerto Morelos!

This was a great place to spend the month by the beach. The location is the best. It is right across the street from the cheduari and in the main colonia area. Great cheap food near by, public transportation steps away for 10 pesos to go to the beach. Very close to the main street which takes you to the beach in about 15 min bike ride,30 min walk, and 5 min drive, this is the most convenient part.You really get the best of what puerto morelos has to offer; the local life and the beach. The place is very clean, modern, safe, cozy, and had everything that I needed for my long term stay. Juan was a great host and very good at communicating. I would definitely recommend this place.

Nancy <3 The owner welcomes you like "Mom at home" and you'll spend your vacation there. In the middle of the jungle and yet you can easily reach everything nearby. The house is very quiet and the complex is super well maintained! We had the garden and pool almost to ourselves! All in all 11/10! Thanks for the wonderful time and we will be back!

This was one of my favourite Airbnb experiences ever. The description is accurate. Excellent location! You would never know you were close to the highway separating port side and colonia. It was amazingly quiet. Beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. The pool is perfect. The colectivo is two blocks away, the walk to the beach between the mangrove is an easy flat 25 minute walk with a safe sidewalk that offers shade along the way. The heart of colonia is a five minute walk. There’s a safe pedestrian underpass so you don’t need to worry about the chaotic round-about. Also, the busses to playa del Carmen and Cancun are right around the corner. Juan , Maria and his parents, who speak English and French are lovely genuine people. Thanks so very much !!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable and the surrounding gardens were extraordinary. Our host was gracious and accommodating. We would highly recommend this Airbnb.

This place is amazing! Definitely will stay again! Close to everything we wanted to do, Cenotes, Xcaret, Xpu-ha beach, Akumal turtle beach. Super safe. It was like a studio very private. The decor in the room was superb. I think description should be Private Studio in amazing jungle. Only regret is that I didn’t stay longer 😌

We enjoyed a couple days at Glen's place, Hacienda Xcaret. We picked this particular Airbnb so we were near Xenses and Xplor. We were able to walk to and from Xenses during the day and we also walked to Xplor Fuego and caught a taxi back to our room in the evening. Skip was a fantastic host. We enjoyed the serenity and peacefulness of the entire place. It was a quiet stay, but our hosts were on top of everything. We also ate at Emilio's for dinner and took our breakfast to go from the sourdough bakery. If you like quaint and quiet, I highly recommend Hacienda Xcaret over any large resort.
