Loved our stay at this home! It was so peaceful and perfect t for our family!

Even though I am very well traveled this was my first time with Air B&B. Carla was very helpful guiding me through the whole process. The experience was positive. The residence was clean and well designed and in the perfect location for our trip.

Brian’s place was so nice and clean. We had a few questions about the area and Brian was very quick to respond. His recommendations for restaurants and wineries were spot on!

Have stayed with Krista several times when coming to Cape Girardeau. She goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for your stay! Loved this place and how much room there is. Everyone had their own bed, beds were super comfy and only minutes away from everything to do. Highly recommend for your next trip to Cape G

Lucy was very communicative abouts the house and activities and attractions nearby. She was very responsive. The house worked very well for our family of 5 with the three baths and two full showers. Nice deck off the back of the house with a couch, table and umbrella and gas grill. We really enjoyed the nice fire pit and big yard and my kids loved the cows right across the street!

Our stay overall was good. It was pretty clean, looked just as pictured, and the s’mores were a nice touch. Additionally, the bed was comfortable and the couch converting to a sleeper sofa was nice. Our only complaints are that the hot water runs out in about 3 minutes so don’t expect to get a good shower in. Also, the heat/air unit was super complicated to use and it kept turning off on us which caused us to wake up with it freezing cold. Luckily, there was a space heater provided so we were able to use that to warm up the unit while we got ready to leave.

We stayed over the Christmas holiday to be close to family in Carbondale. The Red Cottage and Cabin on the Hill were the perfect setting. Quietly tucked away, so we felt we had our own private space. But 15 minutes away from family and amenities in town. The cottage was precious and we loved waking to the morning sounds of the waking farm. The turkeys and peacocks were favorites. It rained the whole time, so we didn’t get a chance to tour the farm- we’ll do that next time! The cottage was just the right size, and we spent a lazy, rainy morning in the hot tub listening to the rain on the tin-covered patio. Truly peaceful. We plan to make The Cabin on the Hill our regular stop when we’re in Carbondale!

We were extremely pleased with the house. The 2 boys had very nice rooms, they liked them! Our room was also very nice. It was a quiet neighborhood unlike many other places. Being a separate house there were no close neighbors to hear, especially in the late evening. It was a safe area to go for walks. We were very pleased with everything.
