Houseboat vacation rentals in Picardy

Thank you Borislava and Phillipe what wonderful hosts! True Air BnB experience and everything is accurately described in their post. My 7 year old son wanted to stay in a boat house and though I think he thought he could drive the boat he was still happy! The stay would have been easier if we had a car and not so much luggage with us - as accurately described the place is more suited for a couple, not a family of four but we knew this. it's also a 20 minute walk to station and some days were freezing. my youngest still doesn't know how to ride a bike but my son and I did and it was so much fun and great to be able to borrow their bikes. Everything we needed we found in the accommodation. So cute. A much better experience than commercial Air bnbs. thank you to Borislava and Phillipe. We absolutely loved staying here, it truly was a one of a kind experience. We were on the go the entire time, so we would only eat, sleep, and get ready but it was amazing for that entire process! Karen was super friendly and very responsive as well.

Staying here made our family trip feel truly special! I would highly recommend the riverboat to anyone. Why stay in a characterless hotel when you can sip wine on the rooftop of the riverboat at night. This should be self evident but this is definitely a boat, one member of our party did get a little sea sick. The river traffic stops late at night making sleeping easy but be prepared for some gentle rocking in the day and until tourboats stop around 10pm. It was also summer and mosquitoes were pretty bad so pack some bug spray. Overall, very much a 5-Star stay and everyone (even the seasick person) agree we would come back.

We spent a day at an event within our company: influencers event as part of World Health Health Day. The setting of the Seine House perfectly met our need for disconnection out of Paris and recono to ourselves and nature. Anne-Laure was very proactive and flexible, allowing us to carry out this event without any hassle. The location of the house can surprise at first, because it is after the Marina (boat parking to cross), but once the surroundings are explored it is easy to meet there. The place is full of charm, quiet and very well exposed, we were lucky enough to have the sun with us all day. We had a great stay, the welcome was excellent. Our Hosts were kind and friendly. We will only remember the positive of this stay, which is too short for our taste. We will come back for sure. Thanks to Judy and Rudy for everything!

We were as a family, we really enjoyed Quentin's boat. The beautiful environment, the view of the Eiffel tower from the terrace in the stern was the best. It is a boat, so it has details that make it unique. It is close to the area where the tourist boats circulate on the Seine , so it moves a little. Very comfortable beds, excellent shower. There are washing machine that works ten points, and the boat has everything you need to cook. Very useful to have lavasecarropas and dishwasher. A very good Parisian experience.

Super stay in a calm neighbourhood. Been to the Olympics and it was wonderful to relax on the boat. Catherine is very responsive and super friendly. All questions answered quickly. Definitely recommended!

The accommodation offered is great and was enjoyed by the whole group we were. Despite the bad weather over the weekend, we had a lot of fun being on board the barge. Access was therefore a little complicated because it was slippery, especially since one of the guests was on crutches, something not planned at the time of booking. However, the accommodation is perfectly as described, the environment is super pleasant and public transport nearby allows access to central Paris in less than 1 hour. Nothing is missing on board, neither the space nor the equipment. Really exotic and very, very pleasant weekend.

Everything was designed to have a pleasant weekend, and the sun was out! A big thank you to Laurence for her friendly welcome… I recommend this exotic place nestled along a bucolic bank along a walk we took to walk around … a little hello to the little chicken of water and its huge eggs!!!!
