Vacation rentals in Piazze

When you stay with Fulvia you feel like you are a long lost relative coming for a visit! The surroundings are calming and picturesque and the home has a wonderful history as a restaurant. The house is very warm and inviting and spacious but maybe not good for those who crave minimalism. The AC works well and although there is no pool, the hot tub became a nice cool soak at night. She gave us a cooking class which was a wonderful experience and she arranged the menu around our likes and dislikes. She also had great recommendations for towns to visit and places to eat and also organized a wine tour close by. She and her family live on the ground floor, but it still feels private in the outdoor areas. We stayed there after a few days in Florence on our way to Rome and it was half way in between, so it was great location to visit towns on the way in and on the way out.

We had a lovely stay at Vignalunga with a group of friend’s for my husband’s 50th. Gaia was a fantastic host, helping with recommendations months before we even arrived, and responding quickly to any of our needs during our stay. The kids loved all the cats on the property (note this if you are allergic!) but they do not enter the house. She organized a great dinner on our arrival at the house, and the location is perfect for exploring the Val D’orcia. The only negatives we had were that the annexe house rooms were not as nice as the main villa, and the kitchen could be better equipped with some items (which Gaia has already taken on board). The dirt road leading to the house is also not the most pleasant drive as other reviewers have mentioned, but the views from the house are fantastic! Thank you Gaia & Petro for a great stay!

Charming, quiet country setting full of peaceful hikes and relaxation. Ilonka and Rob provide a lovely environment with all necessary amenities, with attention to detail. Arezzo and Assisi are both with an hours drive, Cortana a bit further. We departed our stay fully recharged. Highly recommended for those looking for time away from the pace of today. Deepest gratitude to Ilonka and Rob for their hospitality.

For our family vacation, three couples and a 1-year old, the place was perfect. The ability to spend the heat of the day in the huge pool or inside the refreshing lodging made the stay excellent. The place is close to groceries, pharmaceuticals, restaurants, local sites, cities, etc. Ken was always responsive to whatever issue we brought up and his quick replies were greatly appreciated.

Oystein's place in Bolsena is wonderful. Each of the 4 levels has been tastefully designed to be flexible to accommodate a range of sleeping options. Quality features throughout in a superb location. The house is clean and very comfortable with wonderful artwork. The large dining table was great for our family gathering. Wonderful views from the rooftop balcony, which, alongside the other 2 balconies give options for finding a colling breeze (and possibly also a warming spot in the sun in winter). Oystein is an organised and accommodating host who is quick to respond. it was a real pleasure to stay here in this amazing part of Italy.

Even more beautiful than the photos - this house is a dream. The scenery is unreal and waking up to such peaceful views is a gift in this life. The house itself is really nicely laid out with spacious rooms and bathrooms all set apart from each other for maximum privacy. The house was immaculately clean upon arrival. We were two families who spent 4 days here with 4 children and we cooked Thanksgiving dinner. The house had all we needed to make a large meal and the children were entertained running around in the yard and exploring outside. The host, Janusz, is friendly, communicative, and proactive. 10/10 this house was absolutely beautiful- an unforgettable Thanksgiving for all of us.

We stayed at the house one night to go the next day from albus alpaca, the location is perfect, just 5 minutes from the farm, and about thirty minutes from Montalcino. Upon our arrival we found the heaters on and we had a great time despite the cold outside, the house was clean and kept in perfect condition. Simonetta was kind and helpful, I would go back

Immaculate views, especially if you're looking for isolation. Gorgeous pool, plenty of room, amazing balcony, wood burning fireplaces - what more could you ask for? I spent 3 weeks here and enjoyed every minute. Was an excellent retreat space, and would love to come back again

We stayed at the property for 8 days at the end of September. Federica, the location, the house, the complex around the house were unique and very nice! We felt very comfortable from the first day. A supermarket and several restaurants are easily accessible by car. Frederica is a great host and problems solved her and her husband quickly. We had brief problems with the toilet flush, hot water supply and heating - all topics were resolved in a timely manner. Close to the property is the train station Orte, from there there is a train to Rome several times, I can only recommend that. Cheap, on time (not like the DB) and Rome is a force! Accommodation is recommended and we would book again in case we get back to the region.

paolo's beautiful house and in a great location to visit the neighboring countries

We spent a wonderful few months in Meinolf's apartment. The house and its surrounds are even more beautiful than the photos. It is on the upstairs level of a beautifully restored stone farmhouse, with amazing views of the valley, olive groves, and the centro storico of Perugia perched on the hilltop. It is close enough to town to hear the bells ring from the churches, but far enough from roads to feel that you are in the countryside. We came without a car and took buses everywhere, which was manageable, but not easy. Do not underestimate the challenge of the walk into town (30-45 mins depending on where you want to go), or to the bus stop (15 mins), both of which are up very steep roads. Meinolf is a most wonderful, generous and kind host who will go out of his way to make your stay comfortable, but will also give you the space to feel at home. He is excellent company, a font of excellent stories, very welcoming and fun with kids, and was also very caring when we needed help.

This small old house in the 12th-13th century medieval village is tastefully furnished and excellently equipped. We think the two bathrooms are a big bonus, it was very useful for us. In addition, we would highlight the equipment of the kitchen and the quality of the bed mattresses.The host lady lives right next to the accomodation, a few steps away, which gives security. She was very flexible and patient with our late arrival. You can only park a little further from the house, but it seemed safe and a short walk would not hurt.Overall, we recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, romantic stay.
