House vacation rentals in Phokeng

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Steenklippies. The cottages are spacious, comfortable and very nicely styled. We loved the beautiful rose gardens and pool in a tranquil country setting.

My family and I really loved the home. The pictures on the app are basic as it is more beautiful in person. The home had everything we needed and our kids also had fun in the pool side. Thank you so much to our host for always checking up on us,what a warmhearted lady.

Well appointed spacious chalet with everything you need. Beds are really comfortable. Location is amazing and totally unspoilt. Really great hikes in the mountain gorge area. (Needs permit beforehand from Mountain Club) Clean river with drinkable water Also large clean swimming pool in the resort. All in all a really peaceful place to stay where your soul gets plenty of time to recharge.

Comfortable self catering with everything one needs. Lots of space, nice dining area. For off grid the solar and battery was more than enough for our needs. Large gas fridge/freezer. A short walk to the crystal clear stream, lovely to sit on the rocks and enjoy the peace. The most comfortable accommodation we've enjoyed at Utopia so far.

This home is a beautiful city getaway. We had a weekend of sitting around a campfire and spending lovely sunny days in rock pools that are just down the road! The space is rustic, and there is limited electricity due to the space being entirely solar powered. Things to plan for because of this, is there is only a gas stove and oven for heating meals (no microwave). You can charge phones and there are of course lights! But all of this also adds to the feeling of being in nature and away from busy city life. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for the lovely stay!

We stayed at Mias place for the weekend. Firstly its not a scam, the house is just as it looks on pictures and even better. There is everything you'll need from dishes, glasses, towels etc. She is very responsive so if you need anything else she'll get back to you as soon as possible. We enjoyed our stay, it was so peaceful and relaxing. I 100% recommend this place for your family holiday

The venue is great. Often when booking for a large group, you find that while there are enough beds to cater for 10+ people, amenities such as the kitchen are unable to handle that many. Idwala, on the other hand, has a massive kitchen plus many braai areas plus a lot of dining seating, which made our stay all the more comfortable.

We had a wonderful two day stay wish we could have stayed longer,the kids enjoyed seeing zebras roaming around,they enjoyed swimming and playing by the entertainment area within the estate.Lovely area in the estate to braai with a dam view.The house just felt like home super quiet.Looks exactly like in the pictures but bigger.A comfortable stay for my family of 4.we definitely recommend Khanya's place.She is a lovely host.

What a wonderful weekend away we had at Linda and Peter’s place. It had everything we could have wanted. A lovely, easy to work in kitchen. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The beds were so comfy. The view was wonderful from the stoep. I haven’t seen so many stars in a long time. While our hosts ensured we had everything we needed, they gave us privacy. I have no doubt we will head back there sometime in the new year.

We had a lovely time at Sigrid's place. We did struggle a bit to find it (in the dark), and we were warned about arriving after dark, but still felt that there were some key turns where signage could've been helpful. Apart from that, it is a great place to stay, spacious, neat, clean, and private, in a beautiful natural setting. The fireplace outside is also great. We will go back whenever there is another opportunity.

A group of friends and I stayed at Jackal Hill for a couple days and it was fantastic! We had the whole property to ourselves so it felt very private and we did not have to worry about bothering anyone. Stacey's communication was brilliant - she responded to my messages well in time and was always so friendly. Melody and Joseph were on the property and were ever so helpful. We had to call Melody a bunch of times and she always responded and helped where she could. There were definitively flies, but you just have to keep the place clean of food waste which is what attracts them. Unfortunately, we did have an issue with bats occupying one of the chalets which we subsequently couldn't really use, so don't forget to close your windows before dark. Wonderful place, serene, beautiful, calm long walks, and a fantastic host, agent, and owner!
