What a treat it was to stay in the “honeymoon suite” rondawel! Lynette does a fantastic job running the place and took time for a good chat on our arrival, which was great. We had requested dinner and breakfast and enjoyed the most delicious lamb curry! The breakfast was wonderful too! Thanks so much for a 5-star stay, Lynette! 🥰

while traveling down the N1 we had a short but wonderful stay at this place. We just arrived in SA and this was a great way to arrive because in this place it's really just you and nature. At the same time, the house is beautiful and everything, even minor things like salt and pepper, are of high quality.

An authentic African experience. We felt like a voortrekker nestled on the side of the Orange River, the setting is absolutely beautiful and unique. The home itself is very comfortable and spotless, we watched safely from the living room as the sun came up and the bats had their last frenzy before the light got bright and the birds started chirping. was an amazing way to experience Africa.

We stopped with our dogs on the way to CapeTown. It was such a pleasant treat for all of us! They waited for us as we arrived later than planned, they gave clear instructions with gps on how to get there - it’s a rural setting - and the place was even nicer and bigger than we could have imagined.

I booked this one day ahead of time and Ashley was super responsive and helpful. It was easy to get in, restaurants - walkable, lovely big beds in the 2 rooms in the house, giant bathtub that I didn’t use but if I had more time it looked great. And! Milk in the fridge was greatly appreciated! And soap in the shower also thanks!

What a little gem, it's ideal for a family of 4, with your furry friends. So neatly tugged away in the backyard. Relaxing at the table under the grapevine, was ideal after a days stress behind the wheel. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely make use of the place again.

We absolutely loved our stay. This was an incredible guest house with amazing facilities! We will be back FORE SURE. Beds, bathrooms and outside areas are amazing here. We ate the horse mill pub and grill and the food was fantastic, a great recommendation from Marie our host.
