My wife and I spent the weekend at Bear Bungalow for a fall getaway and it was exactly what we wanted. Secluded, peaceful, and beautiful property. Very well appointed with cozy and comfortable furniture and decor. We did two separate day hikes at Wildcat Hollow trail and Burr Oak State Park and still had plenty of time to relax on the covered porch (which is excellent for watching the sunrise) and by the pond and fire pit. Looking forward to staying again.

This property was exquisite to say the least! The photos and description were right on point with what the actual property looks like. There was more than enough to accommodate everyone that came to stay! The exterior of the home was beautiful and relaxing with plenty of parking. This was the CLEANEST hot tub I have ever been in when staying in an air b&b. It is a little difficult to get down the pathway to the fire pit or the pond for some mid-older people (55+). The pond is most definitely stocked and very fun to fish in. As for the interior, I was pleased with how clean and comfortable everything was. If there was anything you forgot to bring you could surely find it somewhere in the house. The views from every window make you feel so relaxed and like you’re at home. Town is a very short 10min drive incase you want to leave the house but once you get there, you will not want to leave!

Stayed here for LL 2024 and would do it again. It was a 7 minute ride to and from aside from getting there unless you left after 2-3pm. It was the perfect place to have AC, stay in from the rain, have a bed to sleep in and full kitchen/refrigerator to not pay festival food prices for every meal. Scott was and continues to be the best, nicest and most responsive host I’ve ever encountered. He treated us like family allowing us to check in early, check out late, etc.. He responded through the app as fast as if I was texting his personal cell. One of us left an item at the home and he sent it back right away. I plan on trying to book this anytime I come back for LL or come back to the area. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and everything was as advertised. We wish we could have used the boat slip/dock and fire pit but didn’t have the time.

Very comfortable accommodations. We held our company's annual meeting and had several guests coming and going. Home was perfectly suited for our needs. Only consideration is the Wifi strength. However, with the location it's understandable. Would definitely recommend for a family retreat.

We stayed here for one night just for a getaway and it was so cozy! The hosts are very responsive and kind! The place is decoarated beautifully and super clean! There were lots of little details we thought were nice...real flowers throughout, bathrobes, extra toiletries in the bathroom in case you forgot something. They seemed to think of everything! We can't wait to go back!

We gathered for a three day Women’s Reading Weekend, and Crockett’s Run was absolutely fantastic. The living space was big enough for 9 of us, and cozy enough on a cold and snowy weekend. We loved being able to hike around on the proper and the owners were super responsive, even coming out on Friday night to help us get the fire started safely. We loved being here and are already planning on coming back next year!

Our short stay was absolutely everything and more! The cabin, water, and area in general were so beautiful, everything was so clean, and it truly felt like a safe space to relax! The hosts were fantastic and responded quickly and kindly every time. We plan to be back in the future and would recommend it to anyone!

Our stay here was great! We had a little work retreat where we spent about 95% of our time in the airBnB. The space was clean with plenty of space for our group of 5. There is plenty of equipment in the kitchen for cooking (although don't forget to bring your own oil/cooking spray). The grill was nice with a backup propane tank on hand. The game room was frigid while we were there and the heaters could only do so much in subzero temperatures, but we got a game or two of pool in when it wasn't unbearable. Was a great time and would stay again (hopefully in the summer next time)!

Super clean, and as described. Felt right at home, modern, functional and cozy. Had plenty of space for my family of 5 that included a 2 year old, and twin 4 month olds. WiFi was great to get work done especially in neat little office nook. We booked as a last minute holiday stay but would definitely return and look to stay here during the summer months to enjoy the lake and the local restaurants there.

We appreciated the information provided about local attractions and it was an easy drive to the beautiful hiking trails in Hocking Hills State Park. What a find!
