Vacation rentals with lake access in Peoria County

Chris and Jodi were EXCELLENT hosts. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Their home is private and peaceful and would be great for a big group with two living room spaces. We would definitely stay here again when in the area.

I travel for work and this booking was by far the best house I’ve stayed at. I felt at home. We grilled. It was a nice place to relax and very peaceful area.

We had an amazing stay! Lisa and Bob were fantastic hosts and very accommodating to our large group. They went above and beyond by helping us extend our stay when the weather shifted. The view of the lake was stunning, and the bar area was perfect for relaxing and socializing. We would book again and highly recommend this place to others!

Review: My wife and I planned a last-minute anniversary trip, and this property exceeded our expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice! The location was absolutely breathtaking, and the trails were a must, even with the snow. The amenities were top-notch, from the full-size gym and hot tub to the fully stocked house. Justin’s hospitality made the experience even better. It was well worth every penny, and we will definitely be returning with the whole family!

Very clean and comfortable. Everything was as pictured. They made sure everything was ready for us before checking in. It was a nice view of the river and a good place to stay this Christmas!

What an outstanding home! If for sale, I would not hesitate to purchase it! Everything was amazing from the first moment. The house was in an exceptional location, everything was as described, the kitchen was fully stocked as it should be, the beds were comfortable… list goes on and on! Alex was incredibly respond lovely to work with. I have stayed at many Airbnb’s throughout the country and this was certainly in the top 3. Highly recommend this place!

Sunset River Cottage was a wonderful place for my best friend and I to spend a few days relaxing and catching up. It’s beautifully decorated, and the view of the water is so pretty. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Amber was a great host!

This place is what you see is what you get. I took a trip to the middle of Illinois to get a break from cancer treatments. It was the peace I needed and helped me feel refreshed. I got to watch the most incredible sunrise. I walked, collected sea shells, and sat by the fire. If you're looking for time away to be isolated and quiet, this is the place. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable. If anything comes up, the host responds fairly quickly. You can tell a lot of thought was put into this place to make it cozy, clean, and comfortable. The place is right off the street, but there wasn't much traffic, so you could still sleep through the night. Be sure when using the heater, you don't press the fan button; it is kinda loud (because everything else is so quiet), and it wasn't till the last day I realized I could silence it. There was a great place to eat, only an 8-minute drive, called Nat's Place; the people were friendly, and the coffee was delicious.

It was really neat to stay there and watch the barge plow through the ice out on the river front! We seen many eagles flying around while relaxing on the back porch We had a wonderful time
