Bright Arty Cottage Dog Friendly Stunning Views

KatrinaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had an enjoyable and relaxing time on my solo-trip to St. Dogmaels. The cottage was very welcoming and cosy and the location great for visiting Cardigan and Poppit Sands nearby and for my plans, Cilgerran nature reserve not far, for excellent Winter birdwatching. I would also recommend the Tuesday morning market by the Abbey, with the Café next door. Louise and Phil were very helpful and friendly hosts and prompt in replying to my queries. All in all I would warmly recommend Gwarwfryn for a stay and would happily return in the future.

Quaint cottage, Main Street Llandeilo.

Excellent value for money at this charming place which was an excellent find. We were warm and comfortable with everything we needed. The place was spotlessly clean with and the kitchen was packed with utensils, gadgets and all you wish for. We felt right at home. And the Christmas decorations were the perfect touch for our Christmas get together. We loved it and would definitely book again.

Little Avalon Cabin

AmyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a wonderful little spot to recharge your batteries! The most comfortable king bed which i find so important! A state of the art coffee machine which makes nicer coffee than any coffee shop! The bath tub although huge still fills with hot water and stays warm too... even in January. You can really tell a lot of love, time, care and attention has been given to this property to make it run efficiently and easy A great stay, inspirational hosts.

We had such a lovely stay at the Cabin! It was so peaceful and serine which was just what we needed to start off the year. The hot tub and fire are great and make the stay extra cosy. We would love to come back in the summer and spend the evening in the outdoor space.

Very homely flat 100m from a nice sandy beach

ZanibRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Fantastic lovely place to stay. We were on university drop off and decided to check in at Borth as a change. Beach across the road from accomodation and lovely walk and views. The hosts were very helpful on arrival tour of house showing us where everything was. We arrived to bread butter milk cereals and jam thank you. We will definately be returning The weather forecast was not looking great the night before the hosts offered us an extra night just in case we were snowed in..Such a kind gesture but woke up to rain and snow at home and roads were passable . Thank you for making our stay comfortable easy and very enjoyableX

Peaceful Snowdonia Retreat - the perfect escape.

AbinayaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful three-night stay at Sam's place in North Wales, our first time visiting the area. We came as a family with our toddler, parents, and in-laws, and the cozy cabin was perfect for us. The welcome pack provided was incredibly helpful, with details on nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions, making it easy to plan our days. Most places we wanted to see were within a 20-30 minute drive, so we got to explore everything on our list! The cabin was spotless, well-equipped with everything we needed, and the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials. It was spacious and had a warm, homely feel that made us all feel right at home. Sam & Hayley were very responsive, and their instructions were straightforward, making check-in and our stay smooth and stress-free. We’ll definitely be back next time we visit North Wales – highly recommended!

Luxury Shepherd's Hut, hot tub and views!

EllenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely two-night stay here - gorgeous surroundings, great hot tub, and a cosy hut that kept us warm in the frosty weather! Ceri and Tom were incredibly welcoming and left a lovely gift for when we arrived. Lots of options for things to do nearby (all great recommendations in the handbook) - a great price too! Easy check-in and check-out made our stay hassle-free. Definitely a wonderful visit for us, thank you both!

The Lodge, Dyffryn Ardudwy(sea views)

NickRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at the lodge/Beach House! After around 6-7 hours drive on a busy Friday, we arrived late in the evening but instructions were clear and everything was smooth upon arrival. Inside the lodge, we were greeted to a Christmassy living room, which was warm and cosy, next to an open plan kitchen. The space was really nice, and the bathroom super warm and immaculate. The bedroom was lovely and the mattress comfortable. The lodge is set in beautiful surrounds not far from the beach and Harlech is a lovely little village just up the road. With the design it really makes you feel like you’re by the sea 😁 Carol is really friendly and easy to reach. Thoroughly recommend!

Character cottage in a stunning location!

RobertRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Booked a last minute weekend away in the character cottage at bird hill farm with our teenage kids & dog over August Bank holiday. The accommodation was spacious, homely with only a few steps up into the kitchen area, which along with the bathroom & decor, furniture was obviously recently refurbished. We were met by Simon on arrival and he was very friendly and welcoming and helped with any questions or requests we had. Plenty of space around the cottage to play with the family and walk the dog. Simon recommended Llansteffan beach and we had a great day there- not too busy but lovely Sandy beach, toilets & cafe. We only had a couple of days but it would be a great location to explore the coast & walks to the many castles around. Thanks again for a wonderful break. The Cross family, West Mids

Group holiday- 4 king size beds!

EmilyRating, 5 stars4 months ago
A beautiful place to stay inside and out. The house is finished to a very high standard, with a lovely kitchen with a big table, and comfy bedrooms. There's a nice outside space with a table and a friendly horse in the next field. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. Rhian was a responsive and friendly host. We will definitely come back again!

Absolutely amazing house. We stayed with our 9 month old daughter, her grandparents and our 1 year old Labrador and still had plenty of room. Beach is 5-10 min walk away with a beach club pub to stop in on the way home for a beer! Beach is absolutely incredible. Overall perfect house for a family especially if you have a dog who loves a good run on the sand!

Glorious peaceful location close to the beach

HelenRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Another lovely stay at Erw. Despite experiencing strong winds all weekend, Kay's home was warm and cosy. Sitting with a coffee watching sunrise over the mountains was such a treat, as was the deserted beach. No swimming this time as the waves were just too wild, but when it's not the middle of a storm, the sea is sandy with a gentle slope into the water - perfect for a cold water dip! Jeff the dog enjoyed his daily walk from the house, along the beach to the estuary and then back round to the house across the salt marshes (dogs on lead for this bit as it's pasture land) Enjoyed some fab food at The Victoria in Llanbedr - a 5 minute drive back towards Barmouth. Booking recommended as it gets busy.

Secluded Lodge with Hot Tub!

KarenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our New Years stay at the lodge was wonderful with amazing scenery and wildlife. It’s our second stay here and we would recommend the Upper Gelli Lodge to anyone, a very tranquil, secluded place to unwind at any point but brilliant after Christmas. Perfect for pets who do not like those New Year fireworks too! Extremely pet friendly and fully enclosed, so we did not need to worry when relaxing in the hot tub, the dogs could roam freely. Bryn and Annelise have made a number of additions since our last stay and these have just enhanced the whole stay even more than before. The lodge really does have everything you need, including a wood burner, very comfortable beds, cosy living area and great kitchen space. A lovely welcome hamper of local produce on arrival again and bottle of Prosecco to welcome in the New Year. We cannot wait to be back in May 2025!
