Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Penonomé District

Vanessa’s home was the perfect home away from home for 4 of us, each from different households. The home was spacious while comfortable and cozy. We had everything we needed which was most appreciated. The garden spaces were gorgeous and comfortable. We felt safe and secure and had a magnificent stay. Would absolutely recommend!

Let's start with this house's most fantastic feature: the POOL. Yes, it's a pool in capital letters. It's a luxury 5-star hotel salt-water pool with excellent sloping access and a sizeable deep water part, all surrounded by a lush tropical garden. And all this is just for you. Plus, there is an enormous gazebo by the pool with tons of outdoor cooking paraphernalia ranging from several fridges and grilles to bread and pizza ovens. The property also has an interesting tropical garden and offers river access. Bird life was not as active as we expected, but we got a few good shots. Also, bats are pretty active at dusk; it was fun. But honestly, we spent most of our days either in a pool or by it. You can ask housekeeper Lidia, who lives nearby, to warm up a jacuzzi: an additional cherry on the pie. The house itself is cosy and lovely, with interesting artefacts throughout. The largest bed is comfy, and the two others are softer. Overall, it's a fantastic property; I highly recommend it.

We stayed in Eyda's home for few days with the family. Few things broke during our stay, but the owner took care of these items. We really enjoyed the patio, Jacuzzi and living room. Thank you again for letting us stay at your cottage. It was awesome.

We enjoyed the house so much. The garden is large and beautiful, well cared for and with lots of flowers! The house has a private river with its playita and very large trees. Lots of windows and fresh air. Old fireplace in the center of the living room, the affectionate Caregiver gave us the wood and we enjoyed the rainy night with a movie and a fire front wine of the Fireplace. The place definitely gives a lot of energy and helps recharge the batteries.

We enjoyed our stay with Sunne very much. The grounds are beautiful and the other guests were very friendly. We spent a lot of time in the rancho by the pool. We had great birdwatching there. The amenities are everything you need. Sunne’s dogs are sweet and friendly. We loved visiting with Sunne and getting her local expertise. We will definitely be back!!

The house, the garden and the surroundings are so beautiful. We were 5 persons, and we spent 12 days there, and everyone loved the place! The house is surrounded by beautiful nature with a lot of birds, and we heard the howler monkeys every morning. I can highly recommend the place to others who want a beautiful house in peaceful surroundings. We also hired a local maiden recommended by the host. She did cooking and cleaning for us, and she was excellent! Our host Elizabeth was also very service minded and helpful! We will come back another time. Thanks!

The house is spectacular, everything works perfectly, and has several different spaces to be or socialize, which makes you never get bored. 100% recommended. Everything was very easy to coordinate.
