As advertised, and better. A perfect getaway in winter - great jumping off point for hiking, with the best amenities I've seen in a cabin. The place is *great* for cooking - the spice rack and farm fresh eggs! 10/10 would recommend.

Jonna’s place exceeded our expectations (which were already high). It was clean and comfortable, and she communicated very well. The kitchen was very well stocked, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the space. We loved our cozy getaway here! I’d highly recommend choosing this Airbnb.

I stayed here with my husband for our honey moon. The showers are outdoor and shared so not super clean or heated but we knew this ahead of time. The cabin itself and the bathrooms however were super clean.

We loved staying here! The little cabin was cute and cozy! We loved having a hot tub and the Nespresso was nice as well. Everything was very clean and instructions were very clear for check in and check out! We will definitely stay here again in the future!

This house is lovely! It’s my second stay because I love the quiet, serene surroundings and the cozy interior. Aly and Tom keep the house perfectly clean and well stocked. The upscale bathroom adds a spa feeling to our stay. With the pond, hot tub, and nearby trails, it really is the perfect winter getaway. We can’t wait to book our trip for next year!

Great value for the price. The cabin is older but maintained and clean. It matched the photos. It was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well-stocked with cooking utensils, plates, etc. The neighborhood is cute and quiet and close to Penn Yan (about 10 mins away) that has restaurants and grocery stores. There are also lots of local vineyards close by. We really enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful cottage that manages to be cozy and spacious at the same time. We had a wonderful one night stay that was much too short and we'd love to come back! The hot tub was heavenly on a very cold night. Our 7 year old said, "You have to give this place five stars!"

I stayed for 5 days and it was incredibly peaceful. The beds and linens were super cozy. Very peaceful spot, the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, seasonings etc. very clean.

This was a second visit here and it did not disappoint! Our kids loved it (both times) and we truly enjoyed our stay.

J's rustic cabin is a wonderful spot in the woods. The view of the forest behind the cabin is so peaceful whether it's by the fire or from the screened porch. This place makes for a great weekend escape if you love nature and want some peace and quiet. The surrounding area is as beautiful as you might expect from the finger lakes and you're close to Watkins Glen & Ithaca. J was proactive and helpful. The cabin was stocked more than we even expected, particularly the cook ware & stove setup which was great. I would definitely return.

Always a wonderful stay. The house is always very clean, plenty of amenities and small thoughtful touches being decorated for the holidays. One of our favorite winter retreats.

We had a great stay at the cabin, which was well appointed and cozy. The location is rural and secluded, with is very relaxing and has access to trails, ponds, and beautiful farm views. The cabin was exactly as described, and we really enjoyed the fire pit and air conditioning. Destiny was extremely responsive and went above and beyond for us, finding us an iron since we had an event, and bringing extra firewood to our cabin. The location was also a great home base to explore the area, since it seemed to be only 20 min from everywhere (Watkins Glen, wineries, Corning museum). Can’t wait to come back again.

Great place to stay. Peaceful and quiet. Everything we wanted to do was 10-15 minutes away.

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. Very peaceful, clean home, pond was great. The communication was great and there were plenty of instructions throughout the home to make our stay very easy and comfortable.

This was our second stay at the Hemingway Cabin and it was everything we remembered and loved. David welcomed us back and we had an amazing weekend. We will be coming back again!

Loved being able to spend a long weekend here. Everything felt new and the view from the window of Seneca Lake was priceless. Easy to drive to and close yo breweries and wineries.

We spent a week at this beautiful spot. It was the perfect location to Ithaca and all the great hiking in the surrounding area. Usually spent the first part of the morning relaxing on the deck with a cup of coffee admiring the lake and the wildlife. Cheryl and her crew were great at communicating with us prior to our arrival. We had no issues while we were there and would definitely stay here again.

This cabin was very cute, extremely private and nestled in among the trees which we loved. The beds were really comfortable, the cabin had everything we needed and was a great place to come back to after exploring the area. Virginia gave us some great ideas on what to do and where to eat. Sunset Cabins was a beautiful stay just a short 15 min drive from Ithaca. The cabin was beautiful, perfectly furnished with a good amount of space for two. Very cozy with a stunning unpolluted view of the stars - we could see the milky way! James gifted us a local bottle of wine for our anniversary which was a thoughtful and delicious touch. Would definitely recommend for a weekend in upstate NY.
