The place is wonderful and is located in a perfect spot to be able to visit the whole of the Bierzo. Rafael and his family are very helpful and kind and are aware of everything. I recommend it 100%

The house is spectacular, nicely decorated and equipped, almost nothing to miss. The rooms with full bathrooms, a wonder in this type of houses. In summer with the pool and terrace should be a pleasure to spend a few days there. Olga made it easier for us to enter earlier than planned to be able to eat there on the first day, which is appreciated for her part. To put a but we would have liked to handle the heating thermostat, in some rooms it was cool and some radiators were closed. I understand that there are people who abuse the temperature, but some degree more on these dates (December) would be fine, although it was not excessive and we were fine in general almost all. Otherwise, the house is highly recommended to spend a few days in a quiet area. We would definitely repeat the next one in summer to enjoy it even more. And also thank Olga for the detail of the empanada that she left us to eat, she was very good.

The house was very clean, welcoming and with all amenities. The fireplace and jacuzzi is a tip. The area is very quiet, the ideal village to disconnect and rest from the urban routine. I recommend the cottage 100%.

Communication with Marina was great, responding to the moment and giving solutions. We were 4 couples and a baby and the common spaces are perfect and spacious to share, plus a porch on the terrace that gives you the option to be outdoors. Taking a walk around the village is also very nice, yes, go before to the supermarket that the distances are long. Anyway in the village there is a shop with a little bit of everything in case of emergency. All in all, we had a great weekend.

the attention call the silence and beauty of the place, but also its gentes are very friendly. A very quiet and cozy place to walk and rest. Luis and his family have been lovely and we were able to get to know the best honey in the world!

Had a really great stay. Manuel is a friendly, helpful, well informed host who's happy to provide tons of great recommendations for the area. The house is rustic and comfortable, featuring all modern amenities. Manuel's an architect and restored an old house preserving its athmopshere and bringing in modern accents which all fits together very well creating a welcoming atmosphere. It's situated in a quiet and remote spot but not too far from the next town. A hotel with a restaurant, a winery and a great neighborhood bar/restaurant are within walking distance. Highly recommended!

A great stay and a very well equipped place.

The house is spectacular, with an ancient flavor and all the comforts of now. Very well designed and very modern architectural solutions. We felt so comfortable. The area is incredible: chestnut forests and very old carballos, very well signposted hiking trails and good wine area. Spectacular viewpoints of the canyon of the Sil.. Tomás recommended an excellent winery, small but very professional.

100% recommended accommodation. Maria contacted us as soon as we made the reservation to specify the topic of travel crib and other practical aspects. I facilitate flexible check-in and check-out times. We had a little problem with the pellet stove upon arrival and he told us how to fix it in less than a minute. Everything was great!

Good bed and nice shower. Cool house, also the bedroom, because at night it cools down. Lots of coziness in the village, but at the end of the evening wonderful rest to get good sleep. Can recommend it to everyone. We went to Ponferrada, Las Médulas and Astorga and swim in the river in the afternoon. Thanks Alejandra. We will be back x

We found ourselves very comfortable in the accommodation. The house was very clean, it was as-is or better than in the photos and had absolutely everything, they also had it super hot for the cold days we went on. Both Leonor and her husband have been very kind and have welcomed us, helped and given information as much as possible. If we return to the area, we will definitely repeat.

It's been a real pleasure staying at the house. Pilar and May are two lovely people and have been very attentive, doing pool maintenance when we were not in the house, always prior communication. The garden of the house has several fruit trees. If the fruits are ripe you can take them without problems. I missed the stars to rate the place. If we return to the area, we will definitely stay at that house again.

We stay for a few days in casa de polo, in a family trip. It’s a charming house in a country side, close to several nice Mirador. The house is very comfortable, charming decoration especially the terrace. We had everything we need for our stay. We enjoyed the Ribeiro sacra. Barbara and Martin was very kind and friendly. I recommend it !

We loved Peñalba. A few fairytale casitas and magical rides to get out of the city routine. Perfect place to reconnect with nature. We had a very special Christmas.

We were very comfortable as a family at Fontica, we were 11 including 2 children. Everything was as described, the beds were comfortable, the decor made with great pleasure, preserving the ancient stone doors and walls but with all the comforts; the heating and fireplace work very well, despite being winter we did not get cold. Each room with its bathroom, the kitchen had everything we needed and we were able to make very nice excursions around the area. Thank you very much for everything!
