Vacation rentals with lake access in Pecos River

Timmi's home was perfect! It's located in a gorgeous and private area backing right up to the mountin and facing the beautiful river. This is a perfect place for a quiet retreat that's not too far from Santa Fe. The kitchen was well stocked with all the essentials plus more. She had plenty of board games and toys to keep our 4 year old entertained while inside. I loved all the books and readings she had available for me and the hot tub made it that much better. My wife and I cannot wait to visit again, if she'll have us. Thanks Timmi for hosting such a wonderful river retreat for me and my family.

Stay was perfect for Texas Tech graduation. Loved the location and super spacious. Only issue is that the kitchen utensils and cooking items were limited so thankfully I didn’t plan on cooking much. Fine for breakfast. Thanks for a great stay.

Definitely one of the most unique Airbnbs we've ever stayed at. The architecture of the home is so mesmerizing. The views of the lake from the windows were so pretty. And all the "secret" staircases are adorable. We had so much fun exploring to see where each staircase and hallway led us to. Our daughter especially liked the hidden room that her stairs led to. And the balcony, when not windy, was amazing. It is very windy in Lubbock, and dusty, so be prepared for that. One night the wind was so strong we felt the house swaying back and forth and shaking. I thought for sure we were going to tumble down the hill into the lake, but we never did! That house is made of steel and could prolly withstand even a tornado. One word of caution...the house is not made for little kiddos. Our kids are older, so we were fine (age 11 and 16). There are some trip and fall hazards, which the host does warn you about beforehand, so just be careful. Overall a great vacay and the host was very responsive!

The house was huge and the surrounding area is absolutely stunning. The host responded quickly, which made our stay even more convenient. We enjoyed taking leisurely walks around the neighborhood, immersing ourselves in the beautiful natural scenery. Just a heads-up—there is a $15 daily fee per person, per day for lake access. This fee is required to enter the Airbnb and access the neighborhood amenities.

Highly recommend this place! It’s located in a canyon and my boys loved exploring their 5 acres. The house was older but clean and comfy. We had everything we needed, and it was 20ish minutes from Palo Duro, so we were able to hike both days of our visit. We will definitely stay here again!

This place has amazing views of wildlife off the porch in the mornings! We were looking for an affordable,quiet,and homey place for the weekend and this fit the bill! Super close to shopping and all the things that are Ruidoso. George is super responsive and was a great host. If you need a very Home like place in Ruidoso that has all the basics covered at a great rate this is a good place to go!

Reed’s place is where it is at for Ruidoso lodging. His place faces and looks out over Rio Ruidoso and the back is right across the street from midtown shops and restaurants. His place is clean and he is super responsive. This is the second time I’ve stayed with him and my stay is always stellar! It’s a great place to be either for remote commuting or vacationing. Internet is super fast and we had no problems connecting. I wish all my experiences were as good as this!! His place is cute, clean, convenient, beautiful woodsy feeling while being real close to the action. Reed is super helpful and responsive as a host! Like I said. Love love. We will definitely be back!! Thanks, Reed!!

Great central location. Host is very responsive and allowed early check in and late check out. This place suited our needs for one night stay.
