Our stay was absolutely perfect! We brought our three kids and our family dog for a quiet and beautiful getaway, and Jocelyn and Ryan’s place couldn’t have been a better choice. The home was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The peaceful surroundings made it the ideal spot to relax and recharge, while still being close enough to explore the area. Jocelyn and Ryan were fantastic hosts—welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful, ensuring we had everything we needed. From the beautiful scenery to the well-stocked amenities, this was truly a wonderful stay. We’d love to come back again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat! Stunning location! We really enjoyed our stay. The view from the cottage is beautiful and Ann was very responsive to any problems or questions we had. I hope to return to this cottage.

For our family vacation this was perfect. The kids can sled right on the property. Jay has lights along the trail for night sledding as well. We tried ice fishing for the first time and had fun with that. Our mission was for snowmobiling though, and this is a good starting point. Ride directly from the cabin without any hassles. Jay is a fantastic host. He happened to be staying at The Boathouse (next to The Bunkhouse) for a few days for his kids' school vacation, and he could not have been any friendlier. We are already looking forward to next year. The Bunkhouse is not the fanciest cabin on the lake, nor is it intended to be. It is designed for sleeping a good crowd of people who are motivated around outdoor activities. The wood stove makes returning to the cabin that much more enjoyable. The view of the lake and mountains is hard to beat, considering the tall pines surrounding the area. Overall, this was a great experience, and we would return again without thinking about it.

Spacious listing, clean, great amenities, quiet and very easy to check in. We had booked another Airbnb near Acadia for a hiking weekend with my husband, 1.5 year old toddler and dog. The one we chose at first was not what we expected (too small) so we needed to find a new place ASAP. Derek's listing was available to book immediately and we were able to check in very last minute at 9:30 PM. He was very responsive, and we had a great weekend. The place was very clean and spacious and great living room for our child to play and extra bedrooms for him to nap. Room in the backyard for the dog to run around as well. Overall, it was perfect for what we needed for a weekend away to be close enough to Bar Harbor/Acadia.

Thank you for your hospitality! Great space for a group of us to share the night before a marathon. Plenty of rooms, a spacious kitchen for making food, and multiple bathrooms for getting ready!

I recently stayed with my family at this incredible Airbnb that exceeded all my expectations. This property offered a hot tub, a pool table, and a level of privacy and tranquility that made for a truly relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of our stay was being able to watch the northern lights from the hot tub – it was absolutely magical. We spent a week in Acadia, and the location was perfect, just 15-20 minutes from Bar Harbor or the nearest town. The hosts were very responsive, and the place was fantastic for families, being both kid and pet friendly. It was a week filled with unforgettable moments, and I can't recommend this place enough!

Enjoyed our stay very much no complaints other than it’s a bit of a drive to most things but that’s the trade off for tranquility. Beautiful environment and comfortable living space. Would definitely visit again without hesitation.
