This is a wonderful property with a beautiful waterfront view and many extras like the paddle boards, badminton and ladder toss. The host gave us some of his golf clubs to chip and putt. He was friendly but did not intrude and provided us with information about the area. My family from the Netherlands would not have had this experience in Europe and were extremely happy they did. Thank you.

Ramona and Gilberts place was exactly what my husband and i needed! Only stayed for a few nights, but it was stocked with everything you could need. From the amenities like the hot tub, and fire pit to the fully stocked kitchen to cook all your meals—it was the perfect little getaway from the city. Not to mention the home was spotless, decorated with all the details, and the bed… extremely comfortable! They live on the property above, but you still have so much space and privacy which we loved :) Would definitely book again in the future!

I recently stayed at Ashley's place, and it was an exceptional experience! The property was exactly as described (and even better in person). It was spotless, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the décor and amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, especially the view was amazing. I loved the closed huge backyard too because of my dog. Ashley was incredibly welcoming and providing clear communications. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. We definitely gonna stay at this place again. This time Summer.

Coming from Seattle, Nanaimo makes an obvious stopover for all points on north and west Vancouver Island. We stayed at Joann’s place on our way to and from Tofino and it was perfect! Cute and cozy, very affordable, and had everything we needed. Plus it’s a quick stroll to the Old City Quarter with lots of great dining options. Definitely beats a hotel in every way, and would also make a comfortable base for a longer stay in Nanaimo itself.

My stay at Joanna’s Airbnb was nothing short of amazing! The open space design made me feel truly connected to nature, and the breathtaking views of the water and mountains were simply unforgettable. Waking up to such a stunning scenery was a highlight of my trip. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. I would absolutely stay here again!

Me and my partner had such an amazing stay and our host Harold was there to greet us and explain how everything works and did a mini tour of our suite. The wetlands were beautiful and the place is exactly as pictured. Harold also was such a nice host who was available if we needed anything. Definitely will be back to stay again!

The view was absolutely amazing and the room was nice and cozy.

John’s place was fantastic. Easy check-in and quick to answer any questions. My wife and I really appreciated the size of the condo and all the amenities. The fireplaces, jetted tub, comfortable king bed, well equipped kitchen and beautiful patio. We took advantage of the on-site amenities including the gym, pool, outdoor hot tub, trails and restaurant. Our stay was awesome and John made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this gem of a condo in beautiful Nanoose Bay.

Sunsets from the wharf were awesome. Private. Supplied food was excellent. Personable host with excellent local knowledge.

This was one of the best stays in our lives. The place, the views, the feelings was something out of ordinary. We loved the place from the very first moment we found it on the Internet and loved it even more when we arrived there. I would definitely recommend this place and would really like to go back there as soon as we plan another vacation.

We had a great stay at Nicole’s place. The pool/hot tub/park are right outside the door which was so convenient for us with our two little ones. Host was very friendly and responsive, I would book again.

From the moment I walked in I already couldn’t wait to come back. The view was beautiful, and the space was spacious yet cozy. Being October it was a bit cooler in Qualicum, but with the electric fireplace and baseboard heaters I didn’t feel it inside! The kitchen had so many little touches that felt thoughtful, from drinks in the fridge, spices in the cupboard, and all the utensils and pans to cook a meal in. Barry was proactive with messaging and very responsive when I had a question ahead of my stay. A perfect weekend getaway!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Randy and Barb's. The rooms provided just enough space for myself, my husband and two young kids, and well as my in-laws. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, the living room was cozy, and the big tub was much appreciated! The best part is the location. Just steps from the ocean (we did two cold dips!), with a nice little pathway around the estuary and outdoor hot tub on the grounds. The Englishman River Falls park is also nearby and is such a gem. This is a great spot to visit for those who love the outdoors and appreciate a few resort style amenities.

The Strand out of Pacific Shores Resort was perfect for my little family. The space is very modern & cozy. We utilized all the amenities such as the indoor & outdoor hot tubs, sauna, outdoor children’s heated pool in the winter, indoor swimming pool, spa and restaurant. Jenn & Nikki were amazing hosts super friendly & responsive. We felt so at home in their space. I was pregnant through our stay and enjoyed taking baths in the soaker tub with the fire place on. We took walks each day along the ocean and up into the estuary. One day we walked right to Rathtrevor Beach & stopped for lunch at Tigh-Nah-Mara Resort. I plan to return with my family in the future hopefully for years to come. This place holds its own magic and is great for island folks looking for a staycation. Our little one enjoyed the beach and playground. We enjoyed being close to Nanaimo, but far enough away you can take in the stars at night and listen to the ocean without the sounds of the city.

This unit was perfect for our needs. Love the code box rather than a key for entry and exit. The kitchen was well appointed with great selection of cooking utensils, pots and pans.

This was our second stay at an Airbnb in Nanoose Bay at the Pacific Shores resorts. Chelsea's place was top of the line. As described, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed and more. Comfortable for the 6 of us who stayed. We loved the location and lay out of the condo, and loved being able to utilize the resort amenities as well. We hope and plan to stay here again next year and for many more to come!
